It was a very nice laid out store. It offers trendy ladies formal wear. The store was very clean.Generally the lines are long, but luckily for us we went midweek midday....not as long a line as expected.
So I just got my fire Among Us track suit from Zara and WOW! Kate was incredible! She’s super professional, relatable and helpful (not to mention smoking hot 🥵😍😉 CALL ME!!! xoxoxo)
There should be return items station like in the city where you can return everything by yourself. Id make workers and customers life easier and forever long lines shorter. And fitting rooms are still closed!!! Please open it

A mens section that is quite minimum even though its half of the 2nd floor. Doing that makes a guy feel less valued than a female guest since they have an entire floor dedicated to them. Its 2021...step up your DEIB ZARA. I Also walked around slowly and wasnt even spoken to once or even welcomed.
I love Zara but more and more people are starting to shop here and the lines are just to crazy to return or exchange you have to wait on an endless line they need more efficiently, no one likes to be waiting hours to get a different size too changed
Employees rather talk at the register then ring you up in a timely manner. They will talk while ringing you up and stop what they are doing just to finish their personal life conversations. No wonder zara is known for having rude employees.
Everything is super costly. Shop was fine organized and clean. They should lower down the prices at least for covid impact.
First visit. Being in retail, wasnt my cup of tea. Messy and an extremely long long line. Only went be ause my daughter wanted to look and needed clothes for school.
I don’t usually shop at Zara but I was gifted clothes for Xmas that didn’t fit.I went in to exchange them for a different size and was told I could not exchange without a receipt even though all of my clothes had the tags and were in pristine condition.I reached out and my boyfriend was able to send over an email receipt.The cashier told me that I could not return because I didn’t have a physical gift receipt and because my purchase was over the 30 days.My questions is, how does a 30 day return policy make sense if a client is shopping on Black Friday to gift for Christmas ... that’s already almost 30 days.This was my second time at this location trying to return these items but walked out the first time because the line was out of the door.I’ve been in retail over 10 years, this is not good customer service. They should be lucky people are still coming into their brick and mortar locations even during a pandemic and should be more accommodating.
Absolute worst customer service ever. I dont care if you paid me I would never shop here again. They were rude, condescending, and totally unhelpful. Negative stars.
I would not shop at Zara again! As a long time customer who spends thousands at Zara, I got my sister a jacket for Christmas on 12/15. Due to COVID in January I was unable to come into the store before the 15 of January to return it since it did not fit. She went today to return the jacket, and they told her since it is over the 30 days, I could not return it, I requested the return before the 30 days, but FedEx never came to pick it up, and I was in quarantine. So you guys lost 2 customers over $200. Sorry giving a customer an extra 10 days was such an issue.
I have been in many other Zara locations previously, but I have not been in the Walt Whitman Shops for a long while .Amazing the selection within this store. Its worth the trip from anywhere. This store had more people purchasing then any other store on that day.
Not enough employees. Lines are always long. How do you only have 2 registers open???? Very frustrating
Was not willing to return my idems, wouldnt help to find the receipt of items purchased the day before, even though the employee didnt give me one. Manager took my number and said he would call and never did.
Good quality clothes, but i think some areas are too packed and hard to walk through, the kids department needs to be organized. They shouldve more people at the register lines were too long and only one cashier. But overall i like the store

Worst return policy in the world. And the associates are no help at all. I’ve worked retail for 10 years and apparently this company can’t accommodate online exchanges. “It has to be the same item” ok? What if the item is completely out of stock ? Then I’m stuck with something that doesn’t fit? That makes sense. Change your policies or lose your clientele. Simple as that. Got items as a gift and walked out with nothing. Thanks a lot Zara 👍🏽

On this particular day it reminded me of Forever 21. Clothes was on sale for 9.99 not good quality at all.

The service in this location (Walt Whitman shops) is absolutely the worst ever! From all the Zara locations!The cashier didn’t even greet me and had me waiting till he was done having his conversation. Wasn’t interested in helping me with my return and made me feel rush. Definitely Not going back there!
This store is located at the Walt Whitman Mall. Easy to see right off of Route 110 servicing Melville, Huntington, and the adjoining areas of Suffolk County. Plenty of parking and a wheel chair accessible entrance. Clean facilities. Nice Staff. Reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back.

Went in Zara for a gift card. It was before Christmas. NYC store they sent me down stairs. There,was no register open. I went upstairs. They announced no line down stairs. I went back there. Lots a steps. Once there, she said gift cards purchases are upstairs. Omg. I left the store . Get better help during high tines. Not very accommodating.
Staff are incredibly rude and arrogant, (except for 1 blond haired girl who was lovely). When I asked for help to find a size, the sales associate looked at me like how dare I ask her a question. I find when you ask them a question, they speak to you with a monotone voice and very little interaction. I love the clothes but they should retrain the staff to at least be civil and maybe remind them that they are employed to help the customer...not aggrivate them.
Was not impressed with the quality or availability of clothing in this location at all. The size small was harder to come by than in any other Zara location ive been at, the staff did not offer to assist me at all and the people at the register were not friendly in any aspect. Not recommended.
Rude customer service both on the phone and in-store. I called twice about shoe availability in the store, early in the morning when one would assume they were not busy and both times I was carelessly left on hold for 20+ minutes so I had to hang up both times. I did not even bother calling back. Though the store is clean and organized, the all female management staff are extremely unwelcoming and blatantly unfriendly. The sales associates seem more helpful. Im from Venezuela and I expected better customer service in one of the fashion capitals of the world, NY, however I have realized that shopping back home is way better. ..
Always long line. Never has cashier on 2nd floor, so if youre shopping for childrens clothing, you have to use cashiers on 1st floor. Youre better off shopping online. Fast delivery.

I kindly asked a trio of girls for help finding an item and they looked so bothered that I asked them for help as if it weren’t their job to help me? And 2 of them just looked at me like I was crazy for even like interrupting their probably mundane and meaningless conversation. Super unimpressed by their customer service (or honestly lack thereof).

Just purchased 3 tops. One did not have ticket . Manager Jasmine came over to help. I brought identical item in a medium, this was a small with price on other was 19.99.Was charged 22.99 because their was no ticket on it. Poor customer service especially in this day and age .
The manager, Marissa will treat you as if you are from another planet in her territory without a passport. Absolutely rude and unfriendly attitude. Not going to this store again

People in the store dont know anything about how to do returns using android and Apple pay they dont understand the concept of encryption and so when you go to do overturn they only want to do it the way that you originally paid. With that being said they accidentally charged instead of returned the item and now I have to call customer service and go to a A whole process of trying to get my money back. Buyer beware dont use Apple pay or android pay at the store.
Probably the worst customer out of all Zara locations Ive been to. It was my first time coming to this location because I usually go to the one in the city. I got here around 9:00pm, close to closing time just to see if theres anything Id want in Mens section. I asked one of the guys working upstairs(mens section) a question and what I get in return is, I dont really careUh... You work here... And I ask a question regarding your product and I get, I dont really care
I see what the reviewer before me was talking about. Staff and managers look at you like you are from another planet and are not helpful at all. The “manager” and cashier working Wednesday night 9/20/17 are obviously working in the wrong place.
