The Service Department manager has extensive knowledge of all makes, domestic and import. Technicians are ASE certified and the most ethical in the area!The General Manager, Sam Spurlock, is the best to work with. No high pressure sales tactics just friendly service. I have gotten several quality pre-owned vehicles. I prefer to support local family owned car dealers. The showroom has several classic cars on display. I love the nostalgic atmosphere of this former Dodge dealership.I wish that FCA USA would allow them to become a full CDJR (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) dealer again. This dealership has such a great reputation and history in Huntington WV. As their business slogan states: Service Satisfaction Always A Top Priority. Sam will tell you anything to get a sale. Got a jeep and have had nothing but problems with it. Was in the shop a week after buying it. The motor started to knock a few week later now the radiator is leaking. Would never recommend anybody dealing with him... The guys in the garage are really nice and will do all they can to help u but Sam your a pos!

About 13 months ago I was traveling back home from NC and on the way my van broke down. Fortunately, I had AAA and I was towed to the nearest place that could service my vehicle. It was Bill Spurlock Auto Sales & Service. We were treated with respect, kindness and understanding for our situation. I suspect they pushed off some things they were already working on and took care of us and had us back on the road to home within an hour and a half for a fair price. I wont ever forget the way they all took care of us and I hope some day I can stop in and thank them personally again.

If you are considering using the Service Department at Bill Spurlocks, please read the following review...I and my father were working on replacing the intake plenum gasket on my 2003 Dodge. We ran into some issues, broken intake bolts in the head and such. So the project lasted several days longer than intended. Once back together, the motor would not crank, like it was out of time. Compression test revealed that there was little to no compression in ALL 8 cylinders! We suspected some crazy case of catastrophic failure.Well, my truck was in need of a transmission anyways (Dodge, duh), so being that I live in the Portsmouth, Ohio area, I wanted to have a non-local shop undertake this large project of replacing motor and transmission. I contacted Spurlocks, and talked at length with Jim, the service manager, several times. I had a transmission built in Florida, a Stage 1 46re, and had Jim quote me a price for install of transmission and engine as well as the new engine price. This was a quite large amount of money, but I felt the price for their labor was very fair, and being a former Dodge dealership (2009) I figured they would have a good amount of experience.Once they received my vehicle, they were quite busy so It took them a couple weeks to get started on my truck. After the second day of tear down, Jim called me and this is the point of this review. He called me to tell me that he had a hunch as to why my motor may have went down, and for curiosity sakes, he tore my heads off to take a look, and found that paper towels hadnt been removed from the intake ports and had gotten lodged in all the valves, causing no compression. He then suggested just fixing the heads, and throwing it all back together.Jims honesty and straightforwardness saved me $4,000. FOUR THOUSEND!! What could have been a 6,000+ total ended up costing me around 1700, and thats including their labor to install my transmission. Jim lost money. They could have charged me for a motor and install, and made quite a large amount more money. But Jim told me I wouldnt want you to pay for something that you truly didnt have toAll the other work they did was top notch, flushed my radiator and trans cooler, since they had the heads off, they installed a set of headers I had for the truck for free! Valve stem seals, all the head work, head gaskets, They road tested the vehicle and everything was very well done and the truck runs great!For that I am thankful and will continue to send my business to Bill Spurlock Auto for as long as they are around

Bought a car 2 years ago exactly. The paint job is completely awful on the whole front end & the estimate to repair was 1200. I called and explained the situation because when the car was purchased you couldnt tell but after 2 years its completely eaten away & horribly noticeable. They refused to help pay in any way which given the fact I gave them 10 grand + a 2008 Nissan Sentra for 5500 dollars.
