Received as Promised. 10/2 I received my watch as expected. It was perfected packaged, included everything that was promised and in the pristine condition it was supposed to be in. 3 days from start to finish. It was definitely worth the trip from Brooklyn to go check out the watch. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful, I was able to negotiate a deal for my old watch with the experience and honesty of the staff so that I could make the purchase and leave feeling happy and satisfied. I agreed to trade-in my two tone black face sub + $1,000, for a two tone blue face. This agreement was made through email. Today, when I arrived, the owner said that he did not agree to that, but rather was responding to another question when he agreed - the price, he stated, was my watch + $2,500. Today (a few days later), I discussed this with the owner via phone. He indicated that the lines got crossed in the email chain. I agreed to modify my review in response to our discussion.

First off, I am a cautious purchaser. I am especially cautious whenever I pick up any items on eBay over $2500. My natural distrust for all sellers on eBay stems back to when I tried to buy my first Rolex and ended up getting a real Rolex with an obvious fake movement (wasn’t even engraved).I have wanted a gold necklace since I was a kid and decided to go hunting online and see if I could find a seller I could trust: enter Collectors Coins and Jewelry. Kyle was very helpful and worked with me to get the best possible deal on a large, Italian Figaro chain. He gave me assurances that the necklace had been thoroughly tested and invited me to test the necklace. Any dissatisfaction at all and I could get my money back within 14 days of sale.With good vibes and a solid warranty, I decided to give them a shot. I was very satisfied with the overall quality of the item. I took the necklace in to a professional who performed x-ray spectroscopy of the necklace’s crystal lattice structure both on an external portion and on a portion we filed down. The necklace passed at 14.09 karats. I held off on performing a chemical assay since at this point I was convinced I had been given the real deal.I would definitely recommend Collectors Coins and Jewelry due to their professional demeanor, quality items, and satisfaction guarantee. Hard to beat in a world where counterfeits abound!

For months Ive been trying to find the right ring to propose. My girlfriend is very drawn to a particular style of vintage ring that is difficult to find, and at last I finally found one I knew she would love.So why a 1-star review?I bought the ring from this company and the experience after that was a nightmare and massive disappointment. The ring was very clearly priced on their website. I even confirmed with them over messenger that the price was accurate before buying.After placing my order, they charged my card and called me the next day telling me they want $4,000 MORE for the ring, which is outrageous considering the original price was $1,500.They told me it was a mistake and they arent willing to ship me the ring for the price I paid, even though the mistake was overlooked when I specifically asked for price confirmation in a direct message on Facebook to the company.They werent willing to do anything to make it right, so I am highly skeptical of the ethics and lack of customer service of this company. I have a feeling this is a standard bait and switch routine so buyer beware.

Do not trust this business. They are complete con artists. I have had to involve the police and may have to involve an attorney regarding my affairs with this business/business owner Eddie.

There is nothing I dislike more than a pushy salesman but instead the staff here including Linda and Arthur were not only helpful, but applied zero pressure throughout the transaction. It is a family owned business that gives you that mom and pop shop feel that I value. I have both sold and bought various pieces there including old jewelry I no longer was wearing and exchanged it for both modern and unique antique pieces.

Another nice thing he did was advised us to keep the mounting so when things get better we can reset another stone in there. Overall he paid us $22,000 and he paid us on the spot! I was just so happy he treated us and understood our situation, we are going through a hard time right now and nice to see someone who understands us.
