Impossible to find,staff is never at location nor answering phones,staff have no clue how to direct ppl to the facilities they never are actually at.Wasted many trips to try to purchase a unit eventually gave up mainly due to staff.

Im editing my review. Originally 1 star, now 5 star. Unfortunately my bad experience was due to growing pains. The new management was improving their system and didnt have the bugs worked out. As soon as they heard I had a problem they called me directly. They listened to my experience and immediately fixed the glitch. You cant ask for better service!My original review:Igot locked in! They changed the exit procedure so you just drive up to the gate,, you dont enter your code to leave. Well it didnt work on my motorcycle. When I Googled the number and called it wasnt the local office and they couldnt help me. I had to jump the fence.Fix your equipment!

Need to work on the driveway at least fill it in otherwise went there for a customer snoman

In the six years that I was a customer, the rates doubled for my unit ( from $124/mo to $250/mo for the same 10x20 unit), plus I was forced to buy their renters insurance, which raised the monthly charge even more. Twice I was assessed late fees for non-payment, when I paid on time and had the cancelled check that they cashed as proof. There are other players in town now that allow you to use your own homeowners insurance, rather than forcing you to get insurance through them. Be forewarned, folks, avoid this place. Theyre all about how much they can get out of you

I would not recommend storing at this facility. I reserved a 5X10 unit, arrived on site and paid my lock and first month storage fees. When I arrived to my unit, I was surprised to have a 8.5 (wide) x 3 unit. It was essentially a glorified closet. I went back to their main office to see if they had anything bigger (perhaps a true 5X10 unit!), but they did not have anything else available. I requested a refund and found another storage facility near by. A week goes by and I still had not received a refund so I called their office to verify that the refund took place and they confirmed that it did and reinforced that it might take a few days longer to process. Another week goes by and it still did not go through so I requested a receipt for the refund transaction. It was then verified that the refund was never processed in the first place. I received a partial refund and was told that my reservation fee was non-refundable (what a joke!). I do not anticipate this business being open under this management much longer. I realize this may be the only place in Huntley, but I would recommend taking your business to Life Storage in Algonquin. They are professional and I had a much better overall experience!

Rented a Uhaul truck from here and the person working there was very nice and very helpful. The place was very clean and easy to find. Thank you.

In the 3 years Ive had my 5 x 10 storage unit, the rates have increased by 35%. When I contacted the manager through email to discuss each rate increase (4 times), they never wrote me back. This is a poor way to run a business. There are other options for storage space.

Helpful, convenient, and nice to have U-Haul there for moving, not to mention packaging. Their staff has always been accommodating and Im happy to have a sizable unit for all of my stuff.

Very friendly staff, locked gate, large capacity

Ive been renting there for about 3 years. I have a parking spot and a storage locker. My rates have gone up at least twice since Ive been there citing the same lame reasons for it. Ive suggested installing parabolic mirrors to enhance visibility, but to no avail. I once got locked inside and had to jump the fence to use the other keypad. Recently I was denied access on a Sunday night and the key pad told me I need to see the manager but no one is there to help you (which is understandable being what time it was). However, I need 24 hour access of my tools. I called and left my name and number and explained the problem, but never got a return call. It seems they dont care about small business owners that cant do their jobs because their gate isnt working. If I had a viable alternative (proximity and parking) I wouldve left a long time ago.

Kept our camper here. Manager was always helpful.
