This bow shop is top notch. They are extremely helpful. They dont try to sell you a new bow every time you walk in. They recently restrung my bow, and the strings are fantastic!! Everyone who shoots archery needs to stop into the shop. They are truly one of the best shops.

Steve was absolutely fantastic! He restrung my bow, tuned it, and helped me sight it in. His knowledge and experience are top-notch. Was having problems sighting in my bow and I called to ask a few questions. They said to bring it down. I went in and right away they went to work on my bow. They tightened a few things and realigned my peep sight and then we paper tuned my bow. This is a knowledgeable archery shop that I will use from now on. Thanks for great work.

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I went to both of my local shops several times and they couldn’t get my bow tuned properly. I drove an hour and a half one way and they had me fixed up perfectly in less than 20 minutes. After fixing the issue they watched me shoot and offered tons of helpful advice and tips. They will be my number one archery shop from now on. Well worth the drive. Great job guys! Best customer service around!

In my opinion this is the best archery shop in Huntsville. The staff is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They really take the time to help you and make sure that you will leave the store with a product which is right for you. The prices are very competitive in my eyes. I have been here now two times and each time the service was excellent. Steve even recognized me from my last visit. For all my archery needs I now know where to go.

I am very new to the sport, but anyone can recognize exceptional customer service and the guys that run this place certainly show it. The first time I came in, George helped me set up my bow until it was perfect. After I decided to purchase a new rest and needed additional help, Laddie and Ron helped me set that one up. They were happy to answer any questions I had and explained everything they were doing to my bow and why. They also can order anything you need, whether it be parts, accessories, etc. I couldnt have asked for a better experience and I will continue to do business with Custom Archery Center.

These guys are awesome. I got charged $100 for a wrong setup (draw length off by 2”) at the other shop in town. These guys fixed it for free and got me shooting great. I can not recommend these guys enough!!!!!

The reason for the 3 star is me and my friend stopped in to check out the line of Matthews bows which they had a big selection. But what really got me was two other guys walked in to look at the recurve bows and the guy that started helping us just stopped and went over and started assisting them. And act like we wasn’t even there. And something else we was going to purchase two of the Traverse compound bows fully loaded out which would have been around $4000/ for both of them. And all other bow shops will let you order what you want with 15-20% down and pay out in 90 days. I asked him about doing this because he was a big time Matthews dealer and he said no we get it all up front no layaway. So they actually lost a $4000/ sale. But we found a place in Jasper called Pats Archery and they ordered everything we needed with 20% down and was very friendly and supportive in everything we needed. Like I said they have a great selection just need to practice on customer support and do some kind of 90 day layaway.

First bow and I purchased it at gander mountain closeout at great price. Found this shop on line and George helped me set up bow from beginning to end. after leaving shop my first 24 arrows were great, George is a miracle worker and friendly. I will always try using this shop, awesome service and knowledge

I just bought my first bow here and I left with the full confidence that Steve, the employee there helping, was reliable and knowledgeable. Besides excellent advice when shopping if you buy a bow from them theyll install any equipment you want to add and help you tune the bow as well. As someone who is new to archery I greatly appreciated the help and advice both Laddy and Steve offered and Ill be back again for any new toys or tuning I need. Not to mention when you buy one of their bows they include a month at their indoor archery range, all things included I feel very satisfied in my purchase!

The guys know what they are doing. They are fun people to be around, can tune your bow quick and affordable, lots of knowledge in these men. I wont take my bow anywhere else.

Great experience. The shop is owned by a military veteran who is extremely friendly and helpful. He actually kept his shop open late to help me set up my bow, even though he had never met me and I had never been in the store previously The store also has an indoor archery range that can suit any need a customer may have. Great guy, great service. Highly recommended.
