I must admit that it has been a while since Ive had anything that needed Scotts attention but he has done a fair amount of work for me over the last 10-12 years. I bought a Frankenstein M-1 Garand made out of spare parts at an auction for cheap and I could not figure out the problems it had. Scott not only fixed it, the rifle drills tacks at 100 yards. I inherited an old Army shotgun, pre-WWII Remington, that was in very bad condition when I got it. Solid rust. Scott refinished it and it looks new. Scott fixed the sights on an old rifle got at an auction and he repaired an old 1950s SA .22LR pistol my father in law gave my son. This repair was exceptional; there was no brand on this old gun and he basically made the parts it needed. My son, now 18, still shots this pistol. As you can tell, the list goes on. He is one of the best gunsmiths Ive come across. He is always busy, and he always delivers when he says he will. His pricing is competitive. Hes worth the wait, hes worth the trip, and hes worth twice what hell charge you.

Without a doubt probably the best gunsmith within 100 miles of Huntsville, Alabama. Every work that has been performed in this shop is absolutely perfect. I have scopes mounted and several botched assemblies (by me) fixed here. My neighbor also uses TacArms and he says that the bluing work and finish work done in this shop is top notch, and he is a retired Army rotorhead. Tactical Arms Gunsmithing is simply the best.
