Worst customer service. Person in charge needs to have more training on exchange and return policies. I should be able to exchange a item for the same item but different color without having to pay the difference in price. It’s the same item the same size, same brand just the color is different. No the other item was not on sale. Had used store coupon. It’s called an even exchange. Also stated coupon are one time coupon yet I was able to use it online again to pick up. Was told it can take 24 hours for my order to be ready. Yea no! Not ever coming back to the Ulta agin

Just wanted to share my experience and why I ended up not buying anything at this location. The store employees were nice. However, being asked constantly “Do you need any help?” is quite annoying. I was in the store not even 15 minutes and was asked this question 4-5 times; twice by two employees. As a person of color it makes me feel as though they think I’m possibly stealing since we are sometimes stereotyped that way. I understand wanting to help customers but it would be nice to be able to shop in peace and have the ability to ask for assistance when needed. I told them several times I was just looking as I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to purchase.Just want the MGMT to take this into consideration of how people of color could be offended by this behavior. I don’t mind being asked once maybe twice, but 4-5 times in 15 minutes is overdoing it. There should be a balance. I won’t be shopping here again. I was just in the area but I’ll stick to my home store in Grand Prairie.On a positive note the store was clean and had a lot of items in stock.

I purchased items at this location about 2 weeks ago. I had some trouble finding them. Specifically Donna Karan antiperspirant and Cannuka. The employees there had never heard of either item, and wasn’t really interested in looking them up until I persisted. They then had a security guard (all of a sudden) appear at the door as I was checking out. Talk about a horrible experience. I totally agree with Jasmine Williams and Stacey Milton, as they previously posted. This store does not make people of color feel welcome. Looking back it seems like they have MANY poor reviews from people of color either being ignored or being made to feel uncomfortable/profiled while shopping. Ethnic intimidation is a thing that several bigger stores are being sued for. It would benefit this location to know what this is. Additionally, it’s seems that there is a long-standing presence of abysmal customer service. Something is profoundly wrong with a store of this caliber having such poor reviews and overall poor customer experience.

First off, this needs negative stars. One star doesnt say it. (This is for the hair dressing department only). I brought my mom in 12 minutes early and waited past the appointment time which was 11:00 before we saw any hair dresser in site. (There where people waiting in line after me). I picked my mom up after 3:00 and she was crying. Unhappy about her uneven cut hair and the shampoo and toner wasnt even washed out of her hair! She was there over 4 hours and was never offered even a bottle of water! For 160$ I would expect better service. ...............

I was so disappointed and rather upset! I love Ulta but this last visit wasnt good!! I needed to get my Foundation matched because I normally buy from Sephora but I wanted to switch to Ulta I wasnt greeted when I arrived, nobody asked me if I needed any help or anything I walked around that store for a good 30 40 minutes and I know I looked lost but not one employee asked me if I needed any kind of help and when a few of them walked by me they didnt even look up and smile at me I am so disappointed.!!!!😣😞😡😠

I am going to refrain from using names on here. The non service that I received was ridiculous I should of just went to my regular hairdresser. Hire people that actually want to do hair at the salon.if I performed like that at my job, I wouldn’t have one. Also it wouldn’t kill you to have the patience to remove dreadlocks at least a hairdresser would.

I went into the ULTA at 880 Northeast Mall Blvd, Hurst TX 76053 last night. A woman named Grace was kind enough to help out this clueless husband and father to pick out a fragrance for my wife. She was helpful, patient and very pleasant to work with. I had a great shopping experience because of her. I hope the store manager see this and recognizes her for her efforts.4 stars, because inventory is thin, and the store is showing heavy activity from the holiday season. As should be expected this time of year.

I honestly never have a good experience here. Every time I came in without makeup I am never assisted. The last time I came in I was looking for an SPF additive for my foundation/moisturizer. I remembered seeing it at the Ulta on Hulen, but went to this location because its closer to my home. I saw two employees who were speaking to each other about the sales floor. I apologized for interrupting their conversation and asked if they could help me find the product. One of them rolled their eyes at me and said they didnt think they carried any sort of item that I mentioned. They tried to continue their conversation without letting me respond and asked if they were sure because I saw it at a different Ulta, unfortunately I just didnt know the brand. They said they had no idea. No suggestions, no asking other colleagues, nothing.Now, I understand not having the item that mentioned, but the person who rolled their eyes was uncalled for. I ended up leaving and going to the Hulen location. The employees there were super helpful and I found my product from their Ulta! It is the CoverFX SPF 30 booster drops.I highly recommend driving the few extra miles to the Ulta in Hulen (in Fort Worth) rather than this one.

I went to this Ulta earlier today to search for some new skincare products, (The Ordinary line, if you’ve heard of them you know they sell fast). Anyway, I walked in (wearing my mask, also I’m a woman of color) and was greeted by a employee behind the register. I quickly browsed through the store trying to find where they had their skincare lines, found them, but didn’t see any of the products I was looking for. Then a nice man popped his head around the corner of a shelf and cheerily asked if I was needing some help, (I’m super shy and get pretty uncomfortable when approached by associates sometimes but) I managed to say yes and told him I was looking for The Ordinary’s products. He then struck up a quick conversation and then directed me to the other end of the store where they only had two of the line’s products, he thought he was sold out of one but upon digging some more in the extra stock on the bottom he found some for me. He then rung me up and continued to have a lighthearted conversation with me, and greeted customers as they came in. He was all smiles, super friendly, kind & funny, and made my experience enjoyable. Also informed me that I could order the products they didn’t have in store yet and get free shipping through them (which I’ll probably go back and do). I didn’t ask for his name but my receipt says Esteban (I think he was a manager?), and if that is his name, tell him I said thanks!

Staff ignores people of color many times to speak with their coworkers/friends.Also needed help with a foundation matching no workers came to help me. I finally asked a lady if she could help me when she was done helping the her current customer. She stated “I’m busy” and never came to help but continued to chat away with the customer and her co workers.There is a young man who works there I’ve seen a couple times and he comes off really nice and helpful the only worker I’ve seen in awhile with good service.

While shopping at this store today, the manager decides to yell out to everyone in the store thank you for the people wearing masks. We appreciate you protecting us. What a nice way to make the customers who choose not to wear a mask feel good about spending money at your store. Although I personally chose to wear a mask, the managers passive-aggressive behavior made me leave and spend my money elsewhere.

After a horrible experience at Ulta in Arlington Highlands, I thought nobody would ever be able to fix my butchered locks. Then I made an appointment with Jackie @ Hurst. She is by far the best hairstylist Ive ever met! She and the rest of the staff are so courteous and eager to help. I will never go anywhere else for my hair dressing needs!

Store employees are more interested in conversing with one another rather than helping people actually find products in this massive store. The store has a great selection of beauty products, but no one around to make recommendations, do color matching, etc. Unfortunately, some of my HG products are Ulta exclusive, so for those Ive been buying online rather than in the store. Thankfully Sephora is very close for products that I need right away.

I went to the Ulta hair salon today and met the stylist Dawn. She was friendly and explained everything to me as she did my highlights.The highlights are amazing my hair looks better than it ever has and I had been going to the same stylist for years. Since I couldn’t get an appointment with her I decided to try out Ulta and I’m so glad I did.I highly recommend Dawn!

I didn’t have a face mask on and basically in the rudest way said oh well and left me standing there. All they had to say was well sorry you can’t come in. Tonight we went in to this location for 2 gifts. With the gifts there was a special promotional gift that was to come with what we bought. As usual, this location was already out of the promotional item. So they offered a replacement for one of the promotional items, but not the other. Signage was still up but they were not honoring even their replacement.When we called to speak to the manager who was as mysterious as the wizard hiding behind the curtain, we were met with such flippant disregard that we just gave up and decided it would best if we left this review.

Went to Ulta because they stock the brand Bed Head hair paste I couldnt find anywhere else. I was assisted by both Ismael and the Store Manager. Both have excellent customer skills and are courteous as well as knowledgeable. Highly recommend this location in Hurst!!!

I cannot shop in there. There is a beeping noise that the store manager says goes all day everyday, their sensitivity alarm. SO annoying! I asked if they could turn it off as it is making me need to leave and the manager with blue hair copped and attitude and said “It doesn’t bother me” then acted like I wa annoying HER!!!Never again will I go in there.Looks like ratings for this store are dead on target. Several times when they put their eyeshadow on sale theyre always out of a color and dont have any on order. This happens every time they have a sale. I had my eyebrows waxed here this week and came out with one brow significantly higher than the other. My natural brow arch is higher on one eye so I always go to Ulta where they’re supposed to be trained. I made her very aware of the problem in advance and she said that she could see it and knew exactly what she needed to do. She must not have known because I now look like I’m permanently raising my right brow. I could have gone to any random nail salon for $10 and come out with this ridiculous look, but instead I paid $22 to look like this. Although the girl was very nice, I’m still extremely upset. I would have completely understood if she had just been up front by telling me that she wasn’t comfortable doing my brows. I could have then walked away with only overgrown brows and my $22. After years of going to this location, I won’t be back.

I liked this ulta, the staff is friendly however they didnt have their merchandise stocked up. I understand that it sells out but most of it was sold out, and what they did have was stuff on the clearance isle. Many of the masks that I bought felt kind of half used. I didnt think much of it until I reached my house and compared them with some of the ones that I have that are of the same brand just different kind and they did seemed like they had been used.

Everyone in here is typically very nice, but I had a bad experience yesterday with one of the ladies working the floor. I was picking up some tinted moisturizer (one for my natural skin and one for when I tan). I went to grab the darker one and an employee came up and told me that it was way too dark for my skin tone, I told her that it was for when I tan...she then said that I need to come back when I have the tan on so that she can match me. I told her that this is the one I always use and that I was okay and then she says “Well I guess you know more than me then”. I was very put off by that comment. Other than that, this location is one of my favorites.

I came in today to find An eyeliner. Since Im not experienced with anything other than the eyeliner I have been using for years I wanted help from one of the people on the floor. Theres seemed to have been only one girl on the floor and she was already helping someone and had been with them for 40 minutes (which is good that she takes the time to do so), but other people should have been around to assist any other customers. I was willing to spend good money on a good eyeliner but left empty handed since I didnt get the help I came in for. Sephora may be more accommodating.

The employees must want this store to close down!! They apparently think all Black customers steal!I went in on 5/17 at around 7 pm to buy a new foundation. When I walked into the store, I greeted the employees, not the other way around. Walked around the store... Nature called, so I went to the restroom, came back out, and a security guard stopped me and another Black woman in the middle of store. He said to us both: Someone is looking for one of yall.Both of us responded in confusion, as we had no idea what he was talking about. I went back to swatching foundations, but every aisle I went to lo and behold, Mister Security Guard is walking behind me. I finally had enough when the security guard walked behind me, purposefully stood in path, and has the gall to clear his throat and address me again, to remind me that he was there.I was planning on buying a new foundation and a birthday present for a friend, but I didnt even bother after that!The other lady and I had a pow wow in the parking lot, and she had the exact same feelings! And she had a bag full of products that she purchased, but she was also followed around in the store.Thank you for letting me know exactly where Im not going to spend my money. I only discovered Ulta a couple years ago due to being a hundred year lover of Mac products. I never had a need to step foot in this store. Then I did one day and fell in love with the place. Each time I purchased products I would receive samples of other products to try. I tried everyone of them and if I liked it I went back and bought it. It was great! Nowadays you can’t get any samples even if you ask nicely for them. It’s like they are so selfish with samples. So I don’t try new products and in return don’t buy them either. Yesterday this place was out of everything. It’s like the day after Christmas event where they had a massive sell and sold out of everything. That’s how empty their shelves were yesterday. So I went in yesterday to find a new foundation, a lady walked up to me & asked if I needed help with anything and of course I said yes. She then asked what I was looking for specially and I told her every problem I had with my skin & my experiences I’ve had and the whole time as I was talking she just kept looking at me & giving me a dumb look. We finally found a foundation and she put some on me and was very rough with it, kept hitting my eye as she was putting it on. As we finished I then asked her if I could have something to wipe off what was left on my face, she then answered ‘Why? You can’t even tell you have any on’ keep in mind I did come in with NO MAKE UP on. Elizabeth and Alisa in the Salon were amazing! Today was the first time I went to get my hair cut and my nails done, and walked out feeling like a million bucks. Every other salon I have been to has made me feel inadequate, judged, and looked down on. Elizabeth took the time to find out exactly how I wanted my hair cut, and made a game plan how to achieve the desired look I was going for without chopping it off all at once. Alisa spent a lot of time trying to make sure the color of my nails was exactly what I wanted (had to do different layers of different colors to get the color I wanted), and was nice and clean job. Both Elizabeth and Alisa had me laughing the whole time and made me feel comfortable. Both also made sure to explain what I needed to do differentially to keep my hair and nails in pristine condition. I will defiantly be coming back to see them both, and have a customer for a long time!

Very happy with my experience. I had recently had my hair highlighted at another salon. Big mistake. Was very unhappy. My friend referred me to Ulta. So i went as a walk-in and Kimberly who was new asked me what i wanted done to my hair and told her what i wanted and what a bad experience i had at the previous salon. Maybe other customers have had a different experience, but, personally, I rarely have a positive experience here. Will stick with Sephora.

I felt discriminated after being next in line, they skipped me because she said I wasnt in line after standing there a few minutes waiting on her. Noone else was there till the very end. So I had to walk back to end of line a few steps away and then acted busy not to check me out so someone else checked me out. Before I left someone else was waiting in the wrong area and they checked them out. I said Hmmm she is in the wrong spot. She said I know Im sorry.

I dont see what all the bad reviews are about. I can get bath products, salon products, drugstore brands, mall brands and perfume in one place ! Without having to go to a grocery store (drugstores are so over priced). Or the mall. AND i get an amazing rewards program with monthly/weekly coupons and deals .... 😅 it cracks me up that people let a few immature employees ruin that for them.

A nice place had what I needed and it was a very nice young girl that helped me get some of my shopkicks also that I couldnt find it was a real treat have her help me around the store and find my other items she was a real sweetheart

I am a credit card holder and maintain my platinum status. I frequent Ulta in store and online. Tj the manager has the nastiest, most unprofessional demeanor and tone. She has the worst attitude for someone who chose to be in the retail/service industry. I have an issue literally every time I go to this location then Ill drive 5 miles away to the Euless or Alliance location with zero issues. I just want to warn any shoppers that its not just her having a bad day...its every single time Ive been there.

I like Ulta. The service personnel are helpful. My daughter was buying some scar cream and we were having trouble locating it and finally did after engaging with staff. I also was looking for a hair product by Ouai which Ulta did not have and I was given the suggestion to try Sephora. That seems to be these fault answer. I finally found some on Amazon.

I went here last weekend and the tallest woman at the cashiers desk was so rude. She said my coupon wouldnt work and when I kept pressuring for her to try it, she practically dismissed me. She kept telling me to read the fine print, which I did and no where did it say I couldnt use it. After she talked to someone else, she found out my coupon DID work.

I enjoy shopping at ulta but this store was unorganized and there was no one near by to assist me. In the back the phone kept ringing and no one was picking it up. It urged me to even answer it myself.
