Very nice people. Rental units of all sizes and fair prices. Units are clean and have a light installed. Also rent U-Haul products.

We have had multiple units for several years (between 1-4 units depending on our needs). Old management always prorated as we made changes to add/ drop units. New management just told us the computer doesn’t let them prorate even though we are out weeks early and they have possession of our units.The locks on the units are hard/ sticky.Nice office workers always there- wish they hadn’t changed the prorating policy. Cost us quite a bit.

We have used Budget Storage since August of 2016. We have never had a problem. We found them to be informative and helpful about any issues even when I was in the road, walking across America. We always felt that our belongings are very secure.

I just had the most upsetting experience at Budget Storage today. My elderly older sister has had 5 units there several years. She is now in ill health and having financial difficulties and her siblings have been helping pay for some of the units for the last two years. We have been working on emptying the unit I pay for and putting the stuff in one of her other units. I work two jobs currently so was not able to be there on 5/31/19 to finish the job. My elderly sister was not able to finish till 6:30 that evening with the help of my other sis. They spent all day working on it. Office help had gone home. They had told office earlier that day they were emptying it out and would have it swept out and ready to rent. Were told that would be just fine. Budget Storage now expects me to pay for all of June’s rent because it wasn’t completely empty by the time office had closed. I was told if I didn’t pay the full month of June’s rent they would turn me over to a collection agency. What a way to treat a customer! They were absolutely so rude and unbending it was awful. We are moving the remaining units to another storage company a.s.a.p. We will never use Budget Storage again.

Be very careful if youre going to deal with this place, ALWAYS keep your receipts, and maybe keep a logbook of your dealings with them. You have been warned.I had my storage room for about 5 months, and after the initial move-in within the first week I had dropped things off at least once a month and sometimes I would make a payment while I was there as I live in the country and only come to town a couple times a month anyway. About the 5th month I called them to ask if I had made a payment the last time I was in there a couple weeks prior. Thats when they said they had no record that I had made any payments after the second month. I said that I absolutely had and if anything I was either a week early or a week late. My word wasnt good enough and thats fine but the owners were treating me like a con or like I was a criminal. I reminded them that if you are ONE day late I would have been locked out of the front gate! Further, if people are really any later than that they waste no time double locking the storage room itself! So how do they figure I managed to be 3 or 4 months late and kept coming and going?? They had no answer and didnt care. I was still treated like I was a criminal and I had to try to find receipts for every month Id been there. Even with the logic of being locked out if behind on your payment, and that its actually impossible to be over 2 months late, I ended up having to pay them for 2.5 months because I had payed cash a couple times and had lost my receipt and had no bank statement. I had been moving to OK. so it was a hectic time and I was closing bank accounts, so even getting the bank statements showing the other payments was a serious pain that cost me time and money. So because of THEIR mismanagement I had to give them what amounts to ransom money if I wanted to get my things out of captivity. They held my things hostage and they shook me down for almost $300 bucks...while they talked down to me and basically told me to go tell someone who cares. Im not joking, not kidding, and not lying. I will go to the trouble to show anyone the proof if itll stop their shaking of down everyday hard working people just because they can. No way around it, these are horrible people.
