The prices were good; however, with an older home, the doors are irregular in size, therefore, the prices I got excited about didnt apply. They were much higher! Moved on to another company. In the end, still paid more, but better quality doors overall. Better service.

Hands down, the worst HD in America, and thats saying something. Stock is never accurate. Store is never packed out. Need lumber for framing? Good luck getting a straight 2x4. Need a fitting for some plumbing work? Its like digging for treasure through bins filled with other stuff. Need a clamp or a tape or a bit? Thats cute. Todays mess was trying to find a router bit the store inventory says is in stock... right...

Polite cashiers,helpful manager. Store under stocked aisles junky,limited supply, Just a mess. Very underwhelmed.

This store have very useless, lazy and incompetent employees. I went to buy a shed today and asked the employees in the store which materials do I need to build the base/foundation for the shed since it was not included. First, customer service employees told me to go to the wood aisle and then the aisle employees told me to go to the hardware aisle and then hardware aisle employees told me to go to the flooring aisle and then flooring aisle employees told me to go to back to customer service. They was making me go in circle for almost 2 hours. Avoid this store location at all cost! It have some very lazy and knows nothing employees!

Heavy set, not black or white 510 or so over 200 lbs paint employee acted as if we were bothering him on his job. Had his name tag reversed so we couldnt get his name.While still needing assistance Jermaine came back from lunch and was helpful, professional and courteous.10 stars to Paint employee Jermaine.

Took a little bit of hunting but the app at least put me in the right isle. Found what I was going for. Average crowd for a nice weekend. Shelves mostly stocked but they have rearranged some merchandise which threw me off on my initial search which is why I used the online store to find it.

This is the second time I have gone to the location across from PG Plaza to get lumber and have it cut. The first time I went, it took 20 minutes to get someone to help me get a piece of lumber cut. This time I was able to find someone to help but then directed me to a hand saw for me to cut the piece myself while he helped someone. I left the lumber and went to another location to help me. I will NOT be going back to this location!

The phone customer service in this store is HORRIBLE!!! It took 15 minutes before anyone answered the store phone and finally once transferred to the department someone connected the call but never responded. The line was opened for 15 minutes and would have been opened lounger but I hung up. The only bright spot was a young employee named Derrick F. who was very personable and helpful. He assisted me and located the item that I came all the way from Columbia, MD to purchase.

This Home Depot is terrible! No one wants to help at all! My mother who is a older woman asked a man to assist with loading heavy materials into the vehicle and she had to wait for the employees to call someone, once the associate arrived he was displeased asking what? Who needs help? Then said to my mother why can’t you lift it? I am appalled that a “man” said this to my mother and a customer! Completely unprofessional and I will never shop there again!

My family and I had an amazing experience at home depot, especially with Tara from the kitchen appliance section. We were looking to buy a new fridge and Tara was so helpful with finding one that best suited our needs. Sadly, when we received our fridge, it didnt fit with our wall measurements. On top of that the people who delivered the fridge took our old fridge back after they saw the new fridge didnt fit. We went back to home depot and Tara was more than happy to work with us and find a better fridge. The delivery company told us we had to return the new fridge before we could buy a new one, meaning wed wouldnt have a fridge for a couple of months since the fridge that we wanted was on backorder. Tara talked to the delivery company and worked out a deal for us to keep the current fridge until the new fridge could come. Weve never seen this type of customer service! She helped us save so much money and were looking forward to buying more kitchen appliances with her in the near future :)

Ricardo in appliances was very helpful and took time to make sure i was satisficed with new appliance purchase. Richard may be the oldest employee at this HD, but he was happy to help me unlike his team mates, who where HIGH, on their phones, having person conversations with other team, or dodging and avoiding me and my wife. PLEASE SEE Ricardo if you need an appliance.

Always busy but what can you say its Home Depot staff is helpful and they have what you need and dont need. Its a win for me.

This Home Depot is the best hardware store I have ever been to the employees are very helpful and they know what their goals are and helping you find what you are looking for very good store.

I normally shop at 33160 Home Depot where you can never find someone to help you and if they do its with an attitude. The store is dirty and quite messy at times.Im now in 20910 where they cant do enough for you. The store is clean, well stocked, things put back where they belong. The associates were all kind and well mannered, unlike Miami Beach. So clad to be out of Florida.

One female staff member was very helpful, but when I asked a male staff member he brushed me off and wasnt helpful at all. Other that very well stocked store

Came looked for what I needed, found it, bought it and left all by myself in headphones, Im not sure if any associate tried to speak to me as I had headphones on and was goal oriented but I was very happy to be able to do everything myself without having to communicate or come into contact with anyone else

Nice menu, good execution, friendly staff..outside seating great for dogs. The day I visited was very hot; my pup was dragging. The waiter brought a chilled ceramic bowl of water for my dog that really revived him. I asked the waite whether they had ginger beer; I was served a deliciously spicey homemade ginger beer that was a really refreshing treat...I highly recommended that beverage if you want something nonalcoholic and attention getting! If you order the humas plate, make sure to ask for fresh lemon wedges and olive oil.. those additions really wake up a generously made, beautiful, but dull tasting plate.

With the exception of the wonderful lady that helped me early Saturday morning with cutting some mini blinds, this is a terrible store. The floors are very slippery. Overall the staff is not that helpful. The store is just kind of there doesnt really flow. The parking lot and exit back out to the main road is weird. And it just seems like everybody hates to be there. Thank God theyre more of these other places Ill go there. But you can go here I wouldnt.

A worker(Miles) in the store gave phenomenal service. He went the extra step to go out on the dock to locate the ladder I wanted to purchase while other workers gathered in areas talking. A woman working there in pink sneakers just walked around casually helping no one as she ate chips and chatted with others who werent helping customers. Miles needs to be commended for his work ethics.Hope his manager recognizes his worth.

Usual great selection organized in a typical Home Depot bewildering manner. Great employees helped me find everything. 4 cashiers pointing you to self check outs but no human check outs manned. Maybe a hardware store cant assemble protective shields for their cashiers.

I asked for two pieces of plywood to be cut to width. After cutting the first he noticed that it had cut at an angle and he said he didnt know why. He tried the second one with the same result. I then had to point out to him that the angle gauge was not sat to Zero. Something he should have done before using the tool.

A good place to shop for Home Improvement. Sales Associates are always available to assist..

I think homedepot really need to improve the loading are, because each time I go to buy paver have to wait 30-60 minutes to be loaded.I think the guys are very slow they need a little more training how to be efficient to load material faster.

My wife and I recently purchased a dishwasher from this store. We also purchased the installation package. On the day of the delivery, The guys that delivered it dropped it off in front of my house and told us they only deliver and a plumber had to install it. After three weeks of going and forth with home depot a plumber was finally sent to install the dishwasher. When the plumber unboxed the dishwasher, he noticed a dent in the back of the dishwasher. When he tried to run the dishwasher it leaked from the dent. We contacted the Home Depot in Hyattsville about a refund and the manager refused, saying that Home Depots policy online states that all defects have to be found and reported within 48hrs of delivery. However, that same policy that the delivery people will unbox, set up and check the appliances for functionality and defects. Home Depot sold us a defective product and refuses to make it right by taking back the defective product and replacing it or issuing a refund. This has been the worst customer service weve experienced.

Had a fantastic experience with Cheryl and Alex. Have been to many Home Depot locations in the DMV, and this was the best experiences. They went above and beyond to help me find an item that was not on the shelf, but advertised for sale in the store. Alex personally looked for the item in the aisle and restocking area, and Cheryl helped me try to find an alternative product to help finish my project. We were so pleased when they were able to find the items I needed. Thankful for such excellent help with these two!!

Somewhat of a lackluster performance by the folks at Home Depot. I only did curbside pickup so I cannot comment on any in store procedures.When I got to the store I was able to park in a curbside pickup spot but no one was monitoring them. A number of times folks would pull up and go inside defeating the purpose of having there spots.After pulling up, I checked in as is asked on the sign and it took them about 30 minutes to come out with my order, which wasnt even correct. When the guy dropped it off he said okay, thanks, I think this is it. It was not it. I was missing a number of things including moulding and dowels that were at least four feet long. He complained how they must not of picked it all and said hed be right back.About 20 minutes later he came back with the rest of my order. I attempted to give him a tip and he declined, apologizing for how long I had to wait. I appreciated that and its why Im giving three stars instead of two.The Home Depot - you need to fix your system. People should be monitoring those spots and I think you should have someone dedicated to just doing consider pickup.So, all in all, great associate, poor execution. I dont know if Ill be back. I will probably just pay a little more to go with a competitor so I dont have to ensure that pain ever again.

What can I say, I bought some dirt. One of the associates was very helpful and brought a cart for me. They didnt have prices listed on the dirt but life isnt perfect.

Worst Home Depot I’ve ever been to. Haven’t seen so many people waiting around registers doing nothing. One register had four associates standing around talking; when I asked if I could be checked out I was brought to another register with three associates, one of whom berated me for not waiting in the line she was pulling from. I explained I was in another line and brought to this checkout. She pulled her mask down and continued telling me that’s not how it’s done. Completely unprofessional and worthless store.

The product is easy to find. Staff is nice.

Came here to simply purchase a propane tank. Was met by an extremely unfriendly employee at the customer service desk who rolled her eyes at me when I asked her what size tanks they had available. After she came back from checking she didn’t even say a word to me just told me how much it would cost. When I asked her what size tank that price was for she told me she didn’t know I could look myself if I wanted to. It only takes one bad interaction like this to ruin your impression of a place. I won’t be coming here again.

I ordered for curbside pickup. When I arrived I followed the instructions sent to me via text message which prompted me to click on a link, enter the description of my car and where I parked. This did not work at all, I could not let anyone know that I was in front of the store.I asked an employee outside for help (I had to remind him to maintain social distance from me), and he was not helpful. At the end, I had to go inside which is what I had hoped to avoid by doing curbside pickup (corona virus, sounds familiar?). While as far as I can see, everyone was wearing masks inside, no one was practicing social distancing at all. It was packed. There were stickers on the floor, which were ignored and nobody cared how close they got. This is terrible.I originally already had wanted to order everything on Amazon, then reconsidered thinking I should support people in the neighborhood. Certainly I wont do that again.

I quickly found everything I needed. I wish there had been a wider selection of bath mats to go into the tub, but I picked a nice one. I also found batteries for my computer mouse, and a new red Brita pitcher. Everyone was nice and helpful.

For the most part Home Depot was reliable until the last order I made on line. I received a partial order so I called customer service and after checking the order number, I was told I only ordered one item. Then I replied that I was presently looking at the order thst showed two items were shipped. Finally, customer service indicated that the second order was shipped separately and the remaining order would come later that day. I waited and waited no order, no phone call or text message from Office Depot to alert me that the merchandise would not be coming. The following day I called customer service and explained what happened. Finally, I was told that the second part of the order was either lost in transit or never shipped even though I was charged for the complete order. If I had forgot to follow up on the order I would have been out of my money and the merchandise. Just saying, I dont know is this hiccup was an accident or something shady was afoot because the item was already paid for. Happy ending Office Depot refunded the money for the ghost merchandise and asked if I wanted to re-order. I said no, give me time to build up my trust because right now I am disappointed.

This is in reference to the Hyattsville Store.Although ive been shopping at Home Depot since they started their very first store in Baltimore, their Grand Opening, i have been blessed to have a store that has purdy much what is needed to start, finish and most of the materials in between. Things have come a long way since then, good and bad, and so has the personel. One perfect summer day i decided to ride my bike since my needs were small. Id been able to lock it up just inside the store, out of the everyones way which i had done safely for a year or so, right by the cameras. After shopping i we t to get my bike only to find a $80. Topeak MTX Trunk Bag DX...STOLEN! AND over $100.00 in tools inside! After the initial shock, i immediately went to one of their personel, a rather talk fella with an attitude, just what i needed, right? After explaining to him the situation and the fact that they should have a video of the whole affair. Naturally i inquired as to the whereabouts of both the manager and security, he tells me they are both in meetings right now and wont be out for a half hour or so. Im thinking, Well isnt that convenient. Then he tells me that he didnt think the cameras worked anyway! At that pointI must confess i was so very upset and angry at that time that after hanging around for ten minutes or so, i unlocked the bike, looked around for a few more minutes then left. Needless to say it was a long time before i went back, but now whenever i go on the bike, i lock my bike, w/o any storage/tool bags, outside and ask an employee or security guard to, if their close by, to please keep an eye on it for me.Well that gives US All, a good idea of the type of some of their personel. So my suggestion, if your looking for an store with arrogant, uninformed and disrespectful employees, the Hyattsville store is the one for you. Oh, and its not very well organized and theres been more times Ive helped their employees...then has ever helped me. And that dear friends, is a fact.

The flowers are great when you make it there early for the health pots

I have been calling for the last 10 minutes and asking for the lumber department. I simply want to get a couple of boards cut to length. I get connected to lumber and someone picks up and simply leaves the phone. I can hear someone cutting wood, even some conversations, but I get no help. I call again and finally get someone to answer. I ask about whether they cut boards to length and she says I think we do, I dont know before transferring me to the lumber department. When it connects I hear someone speak and then they hang up on me. That is what passes for service?

Staff was quite professional, helpful, and friendly. Today, bought products for outdoor use. Will return for herbs, fencing, and a window air conditioner soon!

Today 06-29-2020 went to home depot and buy myself a 20 fat max measuring tape. They had a special 2 for $20. Shelves where stock well. However wait time to pay is longer as only line is made for the whole store. However go to the garden self check out. and you will be out of there alot faster. P.S. Dont tell him I told you so.

11/7/2020, I arrived this store rental department, I was going to rent a Home Depot’s to pickup something that I bought in the store. The assistant said their manager drive it out, maybe comeback in one hour, I checked it’s statement online, it shows me one truck is available.I waited over one hours, I founded that truck back, so I rented it. The assistant said the gas is full, but when I sit in the truck,I found the gas is not whole full. When I drive it back, I went to gas station filled gas. But when I return the truck,that manager said the truck gas not full, that just him used it and he didn’t fill the gas whole full. He is not honest,So I have to fill gas again. That manager’s job number is 78.

Love the Home Depot but this one is not it.During the pandemic, about 1/3 of the staff that I observed were not wearing masks despite corporate and local policy. They would not even put on their masks when I was conversing with them at close distance.Speaking of conversing at close distance, no one I talked to was helpful, most were not even knowledgeable, and none ever proactively asked me if I needed help. I recommend /not/ this store.

I wanted to take the time to express my gratitude to Mr.Chuck in the paint department, He is the real deal, someone that really cares about the customer . I was amazed by his knowledge and helping me make the best decision for my project. I truly appreciate him.

This Home Depot is a huge open warehouse with open hanger bay door to let air flow. They have a huge line that greets you time to you turn into the parking lot. Please beware.There are two gates to the garden area; however, you will need to stand in line just to go inside the warehouse to the garden section due to them only using the garden area as an exit. Make no sense. Many of us just want to go into the garden area. Why not open both gates like Lowe’s. I am headed to Lowe’s because a Baby Boomer had to think that’s a great idea. Thank you generation Baby Boomers- lack of preparedness.
