Always a friendly face and welcoming greeting. The staff makes the market a favorite place to shop and I hate going to the supermarket. Love our little organic market!π
Great place to shop. Excellent produce and other great selections. Found a great tea tree oil toothpaste and mouthwash there. I love this place.
Clean well stocked and staffed store. The cashier overloaded my bag the paper handels broke. She should not have stuffed the bag as she did.
One of my favorite go to organic healthy markets to shop from! Love the selection and quality.
Nice little market reminded me of Trader Joes. It is right next door to Busboys and Poets in Mount Ranier/Hyattsville area.
This restaurant is an experience!! Great service, views of the water, and an excellent show. You will enjoy yourself.ThanksSgC
Decent grocery store for small grocery runs to supplement bigger grocery chains. Good craft beer section and place to pick to wine on the go. Prices are higher.
Neyda and Sandra worse customer service in any yess organic Ive been! Who trained them or informed them on policy and procedures!
Very well organized store with a very courteous and helpful staff.
Main entrance is at the back. Baltimore Ave entrance is closed. A bit confusing. They have a lot of stuff I normally buy. Essential oils can be pricey but not only at this location.
They have healthy and organic vegan and non-vegan products, its kind of like a mini whole foods. Price is a bit expensive
Hi. I love organic food and supporting loal businesses. But PLEASE do not shop here. 1. The pries are outrageously high. Whole foods and the locally run Glut store have better prices. 2. They refused to give me the sale price for an item 4 days later when i returned it because I noticed I paid full price ( A difference of about $4). Apparently the sale had changed to a different flavor of shampoo in the month of December. The cashiers would not honor the original price. I will not shop here again it is not worth the trouble. And I spent a lot of money here and my family.
Well stocked, local, organic and offers items that other large chains do not (such as Nancyβs Oatmilk Yogurt)
12th street is a good store but the changed the brand of wings fromm bell & Evans to some brand called dartanion something like that. Good hot soups depending on the flavor of the day.
Three teenagers were eating jelly candy with their hands, and I stopped them. I called one of the staff, but he wasnt happy that im calling him. And I reported to him about that kids. But he didnt say to me anything or any appreciationβwhat a world. πKids were angry. I told them, think about it covid, you guys cant do it. But one of the kids, why we cant do it?I said: Well, What do we call this one?βAll staff must be open their eyes π too.β
I like this location. It is not a big store but it has everything I want. The store is well organized and clean. There are a lot of parking space. The staff is helpful.
This place is great for healthy food. Vegans will love the store.
Customer restroom restrictions.
Nice place to visit places very clean I will come back to visiting shopping there soon
Was only able to shop for a few seconds but the selection was good and prices were fair
Some of the fresh produce isnβt very fresh.. Had to throw away the strawberries my husband bought, which were a whopping 8.99. All the other strawberries look awful. Great bananas though. Everything else, they have a nice selection.
Fresh fruits and vegetables always puts you in the mood for something delicious.
Great store thats part of a small DC-based organic-focused chain. Excellent selection for the space, friendly staff who provide great customer service, and good quality. Prices are on the higher end given the natural/organic and quality focus (though lower than Whole Foods) but the monthly sales flyer has some really good deals for stocking up & they have some good store-brand items (e.g., supplements). Outstanding hygiene, in-stock status & social distancing practices during the pandemic.
Always greets, and smiles even though masks, and all clerks know there products and where to find them. Love this store.
Love the place. Many vegan options
Went there 2 days in a row. Never had anything. The wait was 2-3 hours on Saturday afternoon, and 2 hours on Sunday morning.
I guess it depends on which one you go to. I rate 12 St in DC much higher.
Great place to shop
My wife and I love YES Organic Market. Maybe even more now with Covid 19 on the loose. They are a smaller market with fewer customers. Never have to wait outside in line like at Whole Foods. Great service, too. Downside is they are a bit more expensive than some other places.
I can see from previous comments that expired products seem to be an issue at this location, so buyer be aware! I am pretty disappointed in my most recent experience. I purchased some pineapple and did not notice that it was expiring on the same day. Of course it was no longer eatable the very next morning, so I wanted to exchange it for something that actually had some shelf life. Most grocery stores do not expect the customer to consume the product on the same day as purchased, and if it is about to expire, it is labeled as such. I was told by manager Vanessa that I should have eaten it the same day and that it can not be exchanged. I asked to speak to the owner about this and was told they hardly come in. I hope the right person from the store sees this and reaches out to me, because frankly this is unethical. I checked the pineapple shelf and the now expired pineapple is still there... just FYI.
Fresh organic products, spices essentials by oz very good cuality good price
The workers here are perfect. Very smart in serving their customers. Customer satisfaction is their priority.
The perfect little neighborhood grocery, with everything you need - from fresh produce to a bottle of wine. The bonuses: a selection of herbal toiletries & a deli counter with freshly-made sandwiches & soups.
I remembered this market being awesome. Im not sure if it changed hands, but, the fruit was molded. The container of baby kale was expired, I didnt notice until I was home, purchased during lunch break. Oh well, lesson learned, Ill pay more attention.
Small grocery store carrying a variety of organic products, and with a great alcohol selection. They also have wine tastings from time to time. Friendly staff, good selection.
Good healthy food
My husband and I frequent this location at least twice a week. Once to participate in the 5-gallon Reverse Osmosis water program (less than $2 for water who can beat that price) and the second time to pick up small items needed around the house. I love the fact that theyβre one of few grocers that stock dandelion greens and have a robust selection for plant based and gluten free food items. They recently started stocking the Schar breads so theyβre definitely competing for our #1 grocer spot. We also love their co-op pricing for bulk foods and spices.
A little expensive but quality
A lot of stuff in such a small space. Not cluttered but can be overwhelming especially if youre a first timer like I was. Eventually I just put my cart back and left because no one was available to answer my questions on the floor and there was a line at the register.
Love this place and the variety of things they have.
This is not only my favorite store. The customer service is Awesome. I feel a sense of family when I walk in the doors. Sara and the rest of the team are always so welcoming and informative. I travel from Laurel Md just to see everyones face and to visit as a friend and a customer. I cant wait to move back that way. My weekend visits sets the mood for my day or my whole weekend. Thank you guys for being yourselves. Thank you for not judging me for being so talkative and sometimes over bearing with questions. π I am a New Yorker from the Heart. See you all soon!
Plenty of parking in the rear, its in the really nice Hyattsville arts district, the store is clean, food is always fresh and shelves are fully stocked. Small store but wide selection. They always have food samples and good grab-and-go choices. Most of all the staff is friendly and really amazing customer service.
I love this YES Market. My favorite location in the Washington Metropolitan area. Itβs always clean, good service, great selection. Canβt complain.
I live Yes. It is well stocked, with nice staff and customers who respect social distance.
I love this small market for the cleanliness, aroma, friendly staff, and selection of organic and natural items. The produce is clearly labelled if its conventional or organic. There are familiar brands as well as local ones. The guacomole is amazing! Everything is major expensive so doing an entire grocery trip here will be insane (unless you got it like that). However I definitely recommend visiting here to pick up key Staples like grains and browsing the natural products for skin, teeth, beauty, and essential oils.
I took a star off because I feel like they are overpriced. I do however love the wine selections and organic products.
I love the size, as it is not a huge and overwhelming warehouse. The products are easy to find and the service is personable and friendly.
Its tight. (Dont you just hate reviews like this one.smh)
π― PERFECT!!!! 1st time at this particular one & they had everything I needed plus it was Covid Safe π·π
Everything there is always organized and well stocked. Their produce dept is awesome, this is the only grocery store that I will go to for my meats and collard greens.
Great spot for natural products. The staff is wonderful.Locally owned! Support our small businesses.
Yes! is probably my favorite organic market because of its size and accessibility. Parking is never a problem, and they carry some of my favorite products like the vegan sweet potato cake by Dodahs.
Fresh and healthy
I recently started to transitioning to a vegan lifestyle and I almost forgot about Yes! So as I was driving up the street I remembered there was one near my house. Its small but the veggie choices are nice and fresh. I wish they had more of a nut selection. The store is full of employees that was happy to assist me. Of course it was right in my face. The parking was quick and easy. When I left an employee and I struck up a nice conversation about bags because I just carried my few items out...they were super friendly but not fake friendly. Store is clean. A big plus.
Great shopping for special occasion meals, but would not daily shop here... Pricey but quality is worth the cost... Cheeses, charcuterie are great for appetizers... Good variety of craft beers
Clean and neat. Parking is usually quite easy. A nice rotation of sale items. Usually some nice samples, too. Im a regular at the bulk food and spice sections. It is so convenient to get just the amount you need, so what you have at home is fresh. Also, you can get just the amount you want if youre shopping for a specific recipe.
It has a lot of nice items that are harder to find in other grocery stores. I love their produce dept its really fresh. Unfortunately the cashiers are a little snotty so i dont visit too often.
The best place to go and get Alkaline water, and they also have toilet paper on hand.
If you know what you want and are looking for organic food, this is certainly the place to visit. You should know ahead of time what to expect (higher prices, very select items, etc.). If you visit with this in mind, then youll have a better time.At one point my wife wanted some chocolate thats dairy, soy, and gluten free. Yes! has such chocolate and I am amazed to say that it tastes like normal dark chocolate! It was so good I was willing to eat it and Im quite selective about my chocolates. There is also a nice little selection of wine and beer here as well. The store also offers precooked meals, goat products (cheese, yogurt I think, milk, etc.). Again, if you know what you want, Yes! is a good place to go. Just dont go here expecting to find a Giant- or Safeway-type grocery store.
They always have the Dr. Bronners soap
I would have thought they would have improved consistency, quality, pricing, and variety with whole foods opening up down the road but nope. Their prices are consistently higher than Whole Foods and Moms, their produce is terrible quality and over ripe, and they always seem to be out of stock of the items I need. Its a small location, like corner store size, so the variety of products is low. Plus, they dont have a lot of vegan and gluten free products. Definitely caters more to a general organic/sustainable sourced omnivore community. Its walking distance from my house so its more convenient than my other two options when I need something quickly but overall, for planned shopping trips I go to one of the other two or Wegmans.
Really wanted to give this 4 stars, because its so small, but I couldnt because the place was just packed with every single little thing you might want. Produce was fresh, prepared food was interesting and well stocked. Rotisserie chicken available too. My only other hold back was that the cashier was not friendly. She wasnt rude at all, but definitely not friendly.
Awesome organic selection but limited
Best place to get organic eggs. The produce is usually meh. They set out samples, which is fun.
Some of their veggies look horrible. Cashiers too slow.
The store is clean and organized. However they sell quite a bit of products that have expired and close to expiring on a discount. Ive purchased a few of these but the cashier did not honor 50-75% discounted ones. If this is the store front, the storage area may have other issues.
Organic foods in small packages. Has a neighborhood grocery store vibe. Good informed staff. Close parking.
Best Sushi Ive tasted and worth the price too!! I have been eating sushi for a long time and bought sushi whenever I can. Ive been to Whole Foods and bought some of their California Roll and they dont taste as good as this location. Also tried the other Yes location but it just seems that it still tastes better so I just come here to satisfy my sushi craving. Hope you guys keep it up. The guy that works there is also friendly. Love your rotissierre chicken too. They recently had chicken cheese steak added to their menu and it is delicious.
I like the organic foods but a little expensive. My fave items are honey and Bragg organic apple cider. Very warm and friendly Staff whether along the aisles shelving items or @ the register. Kudos to you!
Always a great experience
Hit or miss. I tend to come here when I need something that I know only they carry, but about 1/5 times I go, I end up getting something that is either past the expiration date (and not noticing until I get home) or technically pre-expiration date but somehow moldy or decomposed when I open the package. I have to be very attentive with whatever I buy here.Otherwise: good selection, friendly and helpful staff, clean store overall.
Great local market to grab, fresh fruit, veggies, meat. Good craft beer and wine selection. Super friendly staff.
Neat and organized. Personable staff. Reasonable prices.
Good variety products, fresh food make to order during certain hours one of the few Maryland grocery stores that sale alcohol decent selection of wine and beer considering the size of the Store
Nice produce, cheese and wine selection. Plus, great organic fresh and frozen choices. I like that it is small and I can get in and out quickly. A few flowers to cheer me up always helps too.
Great beer and wine selection and a convenient location. Its a ttle pricey but great service. Five stars.
The corned beef was chock full of bull weevils. Jesus wept.
Yes! Organic has a really nice selection of specialty foods. They have the best selection of gluten free foods I have found in the area and a really nice selection of local honey. They are a bit pricey but in the range of other organic/specialty stores I have gone to. For people with dietary restrictions or just looking for a hard to find ingredient this place is a godsend. They do have good weekly sales as well and a little bakery & deli in the back.
GRAET. Customer service
Great customer service.
My favorite healthy lifestyle store!! Love the location. I always find everything I need.
Decent selection. Price is high but very convenient. Good fresh flowers, good beer & wine selection. They do roaster chickens and a juice bar.
Delightful place to shop. Fairly priced. Obscure and delicious libations!
Priciest milk in MD, but its balanced by their weekly deals, nice staff & after 8pm 1/2 OFF sushi deals. NICE wine, sake options & They offer $1 off Wednesdays. I also get my organic hair color from here..I can also say the store is always very clean. 3.8 star
This location is the largest and most beautiful Yes! Ive visited. Excellent selection and friendly service.
Its a pretty small grocery store, so the selection isnt what you would expect from a massive Whole Foods, but everything is organic, high-quality, and a lot of it is local. Good selection of local prepared food. The people working there are also really nice. Its pretty expensive, but worth it considering the quantity.
Its a organic grocery store no need the same more
I try to consume organic most of the time for reasons we all know, and i have to honestly disagree with a lot of comments here. It is true that the staff is welcoming, respectful and nice, something i do appreciate a lot, but everything in this store cost unreasonably expensive, way more expensive than Whole Foods Market that came under scrutiny of the media for its high pricing.Despite the higher price the quality of their produce is not always satisfactory as items are kept on the shelves longer than they should, fruits and veggies are on many occasions looking horrible and still pricey. I am only giving 3 stars because of the staff and the convenience of the store being close to my home allowing me to stop by to pickup things i urgently need or forgot to purchase from Trader-Joes or Whole-Foods-Market, but i would never go there for my weekly grocery shopping because of the unreasonable pricing. I must say that i will definitely not be shopping there once Whole Foods opens a few block away with its shelves filled around the clock with fresh produce at lower cost.
Was there today and I must say that compared to Organic stores in DC, the prices here are way better. Especially on fresh produce. They at least have total cost per these items, not unit prices which wld shock you when you go to checkout your total items.π€
I love that they sell beer and wine! They have a good selection of products for the size of the store, however I would like to see more locally sourced foods on the shelves. Its never too busy and the store is always organized and clean.
I love this store. I always go in for like 2 things and end up with so much. I can find everything Id usually have to order off line in here.
A nice store with healthier food choices.I come here often for a healthier but delicious snack.
Good place for beer/wine and organic food. The selection is limited but overall a nice healthy community grocery store.
Nice produce! I love that I can refill my water jugs here.
All good and fresh
