We were on the road to Sturgis when my daughter who was driving my 2015 Gunner started to have a wobble. We finally were able to see the oil marks on the fuel tank and decided it was a blown fork seal. We called every one in the Boise area and no one wanted to touch the victory bike....i called the victory hot line and and a nice gentle man found Action Motor Sports for us. Our max speed was 60 and it hit over 100 that day.the shop got us in at 8am the next day and even washed the bike. Thank you....

Awesome service and products. Ill always come back to Action for all our ATV/Offroad purchases and service. Highly recommend because of their fair prices and awesome customer service. We just got set up with a new ATV and plow system and I appreciated every great recommendation Dayton and Dutch gave. Everyone was great from the front desk to sales, parts, and the final paperwork. **Buyer beware especially on anything used.Back on Jan 15 2020 I purchased a used 2012 Polaris 800 RMK. Jake was my sales guy. From day one, nothing but problems. Every single weekend I would take it out and it would break down. Action attempted to repair but continued issues kept me from riding. Jennifer at the service desk was great, always polite and understanding of my frustrations with the continued repairs needed. The last time I brought the sled in, I was advised that the cylinders were damaged and a top end was needed. They proceeded with repair. Machine was returned and went into storage. Fast Fwd to Jan 2021 I got the sled out, put fresh fuel in, topped off oil and headed to the snow. Unloaded sled after she warmed up to 118° then proceeded to ride, Not 2miles in and she seized up. Ivan from Action tried telling me I didn’t season the sled & that’s what caused the engine to seize, BS, prior to my first trip out, I siphon all fuel from tank with 3/8 tubing and put fresh 91 octane ethanol free fuel in tank and had started a few times in driveway checking idle before heading to the trail.I have had it with Action and pulled the motor apart myself noticing the PTO side was not getting any oil. I spoke with Ivan abt issues and he said its been to long and they can’t do anything for me. They were the last ones who worked on my motor and I have a signed warranty expiring Feb1 2021 on their repairs. No help with the poor quality work they do. They have all the documentation for all repairs done, and should acknowledge that they sold me a pile of junk. I fully understand I purchased something used sold as is. I get it but I literally have not been able to ride that sled once without breaking down. It’s bad business practice to leave your customer high and dry. What I would like to see happen is Action Motor Sports cover the cost of my parts needed. No labor just hand me the parts and I’ll install them, knowing it will be done right. Shake hands and move past this.

My wife and I had been looking for 2 specific bikes for a few months. We found some better deals 3.5 hours away, but decided to give Action a chance to beat or match the prices we found. After 2 days of working with Dustin over the phone, we were able to work up a deal for both bikes. On the 3rd day we drove 1.5 hours to Action to finish everything up and trailer both bikes home. From there we had a slightly bumpy road as one of the bikes we worked the deal on and test rode suddenly was more expensive then originally discussed right when we were about to seal the deal. It took about 3 hours of time spent at the dealer to get everything squared away, but after speaking with the General Manager, Joe, we were able to make a deal and take both bikes home that day.Overall, I think 4 stars is a very fair rating. As stated above, things definitely could have gone much smoother. However, Dustin and Joe made sure we didn’t leave the dealer disappointed! Thanks guys for working hard to make sure we left with the two bikes we wanted at a reasonable price.If you are looking for guys who will work hard to make you a deal on a bike, I would recommend you check out the guys at Action.

I have purchased several off road vehicles here, trying to support the locals, but the service department is horrible! My 2020 RZR had been in the shop 9 month in the last year. Oh, and dont waste your money on the extended warranty, my 2017 RZR lost and engine and turbo, the 2000 dollars warranty is not worth the paper its written on. They said my off road vehicle had been driven in the dirt too much and wouldnt warranty it, only want 10 grand to put a motor and turbo in it. If the motor wont last 4 years they shouldnt sell you a warranty! Oh and it doesnt cover tie rods or U-joints either. I went and bought a Can Am for a backup, just got over 1000 miles on it, only time its been in the shop is for a service, in and out the same day. Somethings to think about when your shopping for your next toy!

I went here all growing up. We bought a couple bikes here and a ton of gear. Went in yesterday and there was a ton of staff but nobody would give me the time of day. We were looking for a dirt bike for our son and couldnt get anyone to even talk to us. Spent 15 minutes in the store. The gal at the reception desk looked at us as we walked in I nodded at her and she looked back down. Not even a hello or welcome. Sad...

Sales side is awesome! Thanks for hooking up my brand new KTM 1290 SAS.Service side was immediately annoying. Im not leaving my brand new Rzr in your dirt lot for 3-4 days for a 2 minute inspection of the clutch. Try doing what the other dealers are doing and inspect the clutch, then order it. No point in taking it off the trailer. Customer service 101 failed. Come up with a solution fitting both parties needs.Make sure everything is tight on a brand new motorcycle. I enjoyed having my mirror come loose at 85 on my way home. Handlebars were loose as well.Docked two stars purely due to service counter. Ill buy more here but the service counter needs some training. Getting annoyed in the first 20 seconds of a conversation with your employees is a new personal record.

Purchased a used Polaris General just over 2 months ago for my family to enjoy at our vacation home. As soon as we went to pull it off the trailer at home, it was obvious we had been taken. The engine would never start with less then 10 tries while the engine was cold. Obviously while at the dealership the engine was always warm when test driven. After contacting service I was told this was likely a valve back lash issue. This is a recommended maintenance that should be done at 2000 miles. It is not clear why the dealership would resell this vehicle without fixing the problems. Naturally, I scheduled to have this work done but would be several weeks to get it into the shop. In the meantime it was driven lightly, less then 200 miles put on the engine, and no more then 10 rides. A valve retainer let loose and dropped a valve into a cylinder. Thus costing me an additional 5000+ dollars to replace the engine. I should add that while the sales department was very busy, they were still pleasant and helpful and most likely unaware of the service departments neglect.

Ordered a contactor for the winch on our side by side on Thursday. Parts person said it would be in Monday. I asked them to call me when it came in. Monday afternoon went by no call. Called the parts department got a voicemail left a message to call me. Never did. Tuesday I called again. Got Voicemail again. Decided not to leave a message as they hadnt returned the other call. Called the front desk and ask the lady if she could get them to call me. They finally called and said you ordered this on Thursday it wont be here until this Thursday. Asked them to call me. Thursday went by and no call. We live in Swan Valley so have to go to Idaho Falls Friday will stop in and see if they finally have it. I also looked up this same part online and it appears they have about 100% mark up on the part. I found it for $36.00 and they charged me $68.00.

For the most part, i have been happy with Action. I have sold 3 motorcycles and purchased 2 motorcycles from Action. The store has the most brands, (Suzuki, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Polaris) in town.I ride a lot. 8000 off-road miles a year. Action has done most of my services for my last two bikes. Most of the time, the turn around time is a week or two. Summer time the shop may be longer, but they have been known to fix a flat or two in a short time of an hour.Pricing may be a tad high, but I rather ride than work on my bike. I have a large tank 5.3 gallons and can be 200 miles from IF. I need reliability and Action seems to keep the bike together for my solo adventures.Action just rebuilt the motor in my KTM 500 in about 2 weeks. Heading to Moab tomorrow.

Had cheapest prices in ID drove 7 hrs to get my new Polaris rig and well worth the drive. Got it 2 weeks ago and already racked up will over 200 miles in just the short time of two weekends. Both sales fokes I worked with were so easy to deal with and allowed us to work over the phone. Went in signed paperwork with finance guy and he was just a Dream to work with! Has questions he gave us no BS answers and was out the door in about 2 hours. I was more the reason it took as long as it did. We wanted to load it with accessories and we made the young guy behind the counter work hard. 10/10 would go back and 10/10 would recommend to a friend!

My mom asked me to help her surprise my dad with a new side by side for Christmas. We knew the model we wanted beforehand and we were able to test drive it right there at the shop. The sales team was fantastic and answered our questions as well as showing us our options. They communicated well and had an on time delivery (On Christmas Eve).However, the machine was not put together correctly and would not start after it was delivered which really was a let down considering we were hoping to enjoy riding with the family Christmas Day. After the holidays we had to load the side by side up and take it back to Action Motorsports and we were told that the Some of the wiring came loose. Several other cosmetic parts were loose as well. Super disappointing.

Took my bike in to have it worked on for a back fire with aftermarket pipes. Went to pick the bike up today, and the back fire was still there.The tech I talked to who decided to talk down to me, and tell me about his mega years of experience, said that he knew they couldnt get the backfire out with aftermarket pipes. So bottom line, they did $148.04 work knowing that it wouldnt fix the problem. Nice job.

Amazing Service, Thank You!!! Me and my friends new 2019 850 Pro RMKs had engine failures on the first day of our trip to Island Park. We were 16 hours from home. Chuck was extremely helpful, and got our sleds in right away. We were able to get our 850s back in time to ride several days on our trip. Best vehicle shopping experience ever! There were no pushy salespeople, no hype, no hidden surprises, no push to buy that day, no push to buy accessories, just good honest salesmanship. I am reading some bad reviews about service. Let me first say my father was a Chevrolet service manager for 29 years and I know how hard a job keeping everyone happy with service is. My personal experience with Action Motor Sports is only with their service department, I have never bought a vehicle from them. For me they have been excellent. I have had them do tire changes and some other minor work on a Honda scooter. Their pricing was fair and I thought the service was quick. The people I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. I was very satisfied and will continue to deal with them on service.

Vacation Savors! The afternoon before our Presidents Day weekend Island Park Snowmobile vacation I noticed my primary clutch bolt had sheared off near the threads. Called a few places who all said this was a big problem and it would take weeks to get me in and fixed. Called Action and Jen answered the phone, she was sympathetic and told me to bring it by ASAP and they would do their best to get me running. It required them to cut the clutch off but they got me up and running the next day. Great customer service!

Typically when you walk through the doors of a business and there is someone behind the front desk not doing anything, they greet you. I was there on a Saturday morning and there was a young woman at the desk and not only did she not say anything, she looked right through me like I wasnt there. No smile, no Can we help you?, no nod of the head, nothing. Im sure she was deep in thought about how terrible her life is, or how she shouldnt have to work on a Saturday, but where I come from, a business is only as good as its people. The good news is, I dont have to go back there and have zero plans to do so, even if I decide to purchase one of their brands.Good luck with that type of service!

Really helpful folks. The went the extra mile troubleshooting a trailer light problem. Service on my Razor was done quickly and professionally - they gave me the air filter so Id know they didnt replace it without need. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!

Purchased 2 2018 ktm 125s . Had to call a second salesman to get the ball rolling . Have bought many dirt bikes here and always got hats or shirts in appreciation. Didnt even get a thanks after spending over 14k on new bikes must say I was disappointed in the way things were handled . Was a newbie salesman so that may explain our last experience there .

The worst sales and service department I have ever dealt with anywhere. I bought a used snowmobile from the salesman - Tanner. He knew that he was selling us a lemon and after we got the lemon they would do absolutely nothing to help us with the snowmobile.The people in the service department arent actually technicians, more like backyard mechanics. Shotty work.I will take my business elsewhere. Do yourself a favor, dont go here.

While Ive never purchased a vehicle from here before, Ive worked for businesses who use their services and I have had direct experience with their service. The parts department is usually pretty good at getting what you need in a short amount of time. All of the staff I have dealt with seem to be pretty enthusiastic about their jobs and a few of them even know what theyre talking about! If you need to get a hard to find part for your ATV, motorcycle, or other off-road vehicle. this is the place to go to.

Horrific Service!I purchased a used four-wheeler off Craigslist in early December as a Christmas present for my children. I set an appointment and took it to Action Motor Sports for a tune up and to diagnose while it was having issues starting - more than 3 weeks before Christmas Day. Their service was horrible. They did not complete anything when they said they would. Failed repeatedly to call me back. After 3+ weeks I go to pick it up on Christmas Eve (they said they finally completed the service) and the quad wouldnt start! After having it for 3+ weeks they didnt even bother to diagnose the problem that I brought it in for, let alone fix it. Its late Christmas Eve, and they refused to do anything for me (let me rent or loan me a quad so I could have a present for my kids). Their solution was for me to purchase a different four-wheeler from them! So, they screw up and their solution is for me to give them more money?Chuck, the maintenance manager was extremely sorry for the failure and promised to get it fixed ASAP. He had no idea why they had the quad for 3+ weeks and could not diagnose a problem he discovered in 10 minutes (a bad stator). He was really nice, and I had hope. But things havent gotten better. Its now the end of February and I still have no idea what is going on. They promised to call and keep me updated. They havent. They told me it would be fixed quickly. It hasnt been. They have not returned my messages. I called again on Saturday and Justin (in the service dept) had no idea what was happening with the quad or when I could expect it back. This place is a nightmare. Its been three months now - all to replace a stator??? They dont bother to call me and let me know whats going on. They dont return my messages. They refused to do anything for me for Christmas when it was completely their fault the quad wasnt fixed on time.Ive been a small business owner, and I hate to leave negative reviews. Ive given Action every opportunity to make this right and theyve failed - week after week after week after week. Save your time; save your money; save your sanity and shop somewhere else.

We took our 25 year old Yamaha Big Bear ATV to Action Motors Sports after the drivetrain seized up. They could not find any new parts so they scoured the internet for them. Great place with so many awesome choices. From side by sides, to street bikes, to dirt bikes. It is nice to be able to go in, look around and not be swarmed by sales people but when you need one, there are plenty of knowledgeable sales people

I came here for the first time in May of 2012. We arrived quite late in the day and they were actually closing. But the salesmen said it would be okay if I came in and looked around as long as I liked. We stayed only about 15 minutes, but the staff was very friendly, and the salesman who let us come in chatted with us about the Victory motorcycles I was interested in.I returned about a week later to see about a test ride and was helped by the new guy (at the time), Dayton. Dayton was just awesome. We chatting for quite some time, humored me as I sat on half a dozen bikes, and then set up my test ride for a red 2011 Victory Cross Roads. I loved the bike but I had to think over a bit more, and he said all Id have to do is call, and hed set the bike aside for me.After a couple days, I decided I really wanted that bike. I called Dayton up, and sure enough, they still had it. He admitted that the sticker price wed discussed had not been accurate as the sales manager had signed it incorrectly, not adding the accessories that were equipped on the bike. He said that didnt matter, it was on them and not me, and I was gonna get the price wed agreed on, and he came through. I rode that bike home on May 21, 2012.About 14 months later, I called up because the bike had blown a fork seal. I thought it might be covered under extended warranty, but it sadly was not. The young lady I spoke to in the service department did offer and deliver on a significant discount on my labor charges for the repair, however, as Polaris refused warranty replacement on the basis of the fork seal being a wear item even though the bike barely had a year on the road and less than 8000 miles on it.Ive been treated very well every time Ive visited this business, and I visit frequently to purchase accessories and maintenance supplies. Great business.

Action really is a great place to do business. My family has bought many things there through the years and have had nothing but good experiences. They have become great friends and always go out of their way to accommodate our needs. To me there is no other place in the world of motorsports around here. 👌

Ive been shopping here for over 20 years. We usually buy two bikes a year from them. In my opinion they have the best parts department Ive ever been to. Theyre the most knowledgeable and friendly, And most of the time if you just ask for a discount theyll just give you one. I highly recommend action motorsports.
