This place is actually way good! I noticed it for the first time this morning and so my wife and I came by to check it out.We got a few different donuts and enjoyed all of them. The lady behind the counter was friendly and made small talk as we chose.I enjoy the decor and things were clean. I thought the parking lot would be an issue but it was fine.

Jim went out of his way to provide me with great service and delicious product. Very friendly. I am a fritter and filled donut junkie and the donuts had abundant filling and great flavors. Daylight donuts definitely brought light to my day. Thank you.

REAL donuts.. the only REAL donut shop Ive seen in Idaho falls since I moved here a year ago. Fluffy twists, light and airy French and even cake donuts. Yes... donuts : - )

I went in and was helped by a young woman and a man i figure is the owner and they were so awesome! These donuts are incredible and so cheap! The red velvet ones are to die for!!! These folks have just gained a loyal customer

Sent my husband to pick up donut holes and a maple bar. They only had 11 donut holes and charged him $0.55 each for a total of $6.05. I cant see their menu online but Im pretty certain $6 is too much as other locations show $2-3 a dozen. $8.84 for a maple bar and 11 donut holes is crazy!

Very disappointed in the daylight donuts theyre signing out front said they had chocolate fritters. The fritter was a regular apple fritter with chocolate icing it was not a chocolate fritter.

The cashier was very pleasant. I arrived around 10am ish so not a good selection of donuts left. First time I have been to this store.That said, I probably wont return because paying $20+ for donuts is just too expensive and the donuts, in my opinion, were not as desirable tasting as grocery store donuts which are about 1/3 the price.Again, service was great. Its the other factors I mentioned above that were concerns for me.

I love the attention to detail that is placed behind the counter. People really care about their product. The services they offer are played out very professionally from greeting you as you walk in the door to saying good bye as you leave.

We had the best time there and the employee was wonderful to get service from we think you cant give her up yes it is her daughter in law and her son but you have the best worker that you can have and you cant give her up she needs more money for her work she does for her Boss

Its a snobby donut experience. slightly better than walmart donuts but 5x as expensive. if you want medium quality donuts at outrageous prices, daylight donuts is your kind of a place.

Daylight 🍩 is way over-rated and people are easy to please. Go here if you want to pay $20 for 1 dozen of grocery store quality donuts.I have waited in line for award winning donut shops and payed less then what they sale theirs for. Nothing fancy except their need for your money.

The people that work there are just great! The owner of the store is VERY happy and friendly. We live next door to them and they are very polite. And their donut... MOUTH WATERING amazing. And the inside of the store is set up SUPER cute! Also LOVE the prices. Cant say a single thing bad about them!

The woman who works here (perhaps the manager or owner?) is such a sweet person! She always has a smile on her face and makes it very pleasant to be a customer. The location is a little inconvenient as is the parking. I would also recommend they consider selling lattes but thats just my opinion!

Not the best donut place in town; to me theyre comparable to any donut from a supermarket-- only possibly better if you grab them first thing in the morning when theyre warm and fresh. I recommend Googling Best donuts Idaho Falls & choosing this place! The only thing this donut shop has on any other bakery is that it opens the earliest, 5:00 am. Daylight is your only option for fresh donuts in Idaho Falls/Ammon before 6:00am.

Excellent place to buy donuts. Although they cost a bit more than your chain stores, the quality is outstanding and the taste is delicious. Get there early as they sell fast.

Scott and I purchased 1 barvarian cream filled long John and I cream cheese filled long John. They missed the mark on these. The donuts were stale and the fillings didnt taste right. I dont know if they have a new Baker or what. In the passed we bought a dozen of donuts and were excellent. We will not be coming back here for donuts, very unsatisfied customers

I went there at 9 am on a Tuesday. They had just 5 donuts in their case. Nit 5 kinds of donuts but just 5 donuts. I asked if that was all the donuts they had and was told that was all they had. I didnt see one I wanted so I left. Bizarre. A donut shop with judt 5 donuts available at 9 am.

Best fritter Ive ever had. They also have some gluten free options (not donuts).

WOW, I have no idea how they rated so good, food quality is a little better than grocery store but about 3.5 times as much. They must rely on new customers as opposed to return customers. Way too expensive for flour and sugar.

Id go 3 1/2 stars if I could, but I just cant go 4 because of the limited selection and high prices. Donuts are close in quality to my preferred spot, but not quite there. Shop is clean, cute and welcoming. This is my 2nd choice for donuts in town, but its not really that close. Unfortunately, my favorite spot is closed on Mondays.

Donuts were less than fresh at 7 am in the morning. Glad that I did not purchase more than 6. Very disappointing!

We went to Daylight donuts to introduce ourselves as neighbors and they sent us away with the most delicious donuts. Very friendly owners that take great pride in their business.
