If youre looking for a really bright and warm homey feeling this is 100 percent the place! If the candy and smell of chocolatey fudge doesnt make want to come in, maybe the ice cream would! This place definitely makes brings you back to the good old days! I spent most of my high school days hanging out there. Youre always welcomed with a smile and taken care of with exceptional customer service!From what I hear it is currently under some remodeling, but when it opens Im definitely going to come back more often. If youre just visiting or even an IB local for that matter. I highly recommend you give this place a shot! :)))

We first visited this place a few years ago and it was okay. Went this past week and found out new ownership took over about a year ago. Very impressed this trip. Very friendly service. Theyre also making some nice updates like an additional sitting area and expanded the patio seating. Yummy treats, great atmosphere, service with a smile.

Aside from the cozy retro feel this place has all the candy us 90s kids loved. Customer service is amazing the owner and candy behind the counter were so nice. From chico stix to pip rocks its here. And did I mention the fudge? Awesome! From floats to ice cream they have it all! Outdoor and indoor seating is cool too! This is a must stop if you are in Imperial beach.

Cute candy shoppe by the beach with adjacent, rentable, indoor/outdoor party room. We were able to have a food caterer set up shop outside and dancing inside. Can easily seat 50 people! Great little place, they were awfully accommodating!

I have been at Imperial Beach Seaside Candy & Ice Cream on the weekend and this ice cream was definitely the best Ice cream I ate so far in San Diego! They had soo many flavors to choose from, each one was very delicious and some were also very special! The staff was super friendly and gave as free samples of fudge and ice cream to try! The price is awesome, I paid 3$ for a double scoop (see picture)! I would go there again, any time!

This place is the little candy shop just like I had back home in the little town I grew up in. Every time I visit imperial Beach, Imperial Beach Seaside Candy is a must visit. The service is amazing and the candy and ice cream are to die for. They also have ice cream for your four legged dog friends.

This is just the cutest place! I love the vintage vibes, nostalgic sweets, and eclectic decor. Prices are quite reasonable too. The party room is a gem; take note of the copper penny counter at the bar. Kudos to the manager, Katie, for her bubbly personality and warm welcome. Check out Seaside Candy...its a real treat!

My go-to place for yummy fudge. My favorite is the walnut fudge and pistachio nut.One of the greatest things there is that they have THRIFTY ice cream! I love that I no longer have to wait in line at Rite Aid for it.The coolest thing about it? You can buy the candy to add as toppings on your ice cream!Love this place. Love the people. We reserved the reception area in January for our 40 anniversary reception at 10AM on June 22. We live one block away and are in with grandkids often. We Re affirmed the date and even joked about it the day before with the staff. At 10:30 AM on June 22 we showed up with our party of fifty to be told that someone else booked the room. Do not take anything these folks tell you cause you may be disappointed. No one there had a clue. Will not even consider using the party facilities again.

I swing by anytime Im in IB for a Coffee and to chill on the patio and get some email knocked out before work. Theres always a locals crowd at this time. I find Seaside Candy and Ice Cream affordable, relaxing and they are Keto friendly to boot.

This place must have really gone downhill since the last review this is the worst business that Ive ever been to I am a tourist and a traveler I have traveled from one end of the country to the other and honestly Ive never been treated as poorly as I was at this business. First when I walked in I stood at the counter for over 10 minutes while the lady was having a fun casual conversation with a guy in the back I asked for shake she said Im sorry we dont do shakes anymore so then I said I needed some ice cream and an outlet to charge my phone because as an out-of-towner my phone had died and I was lost. So I walked into the back room I found a discreet plug and I plug in my phone and went back to order food as a customer the lady comes in and screams at me tells me to remove my phone I might come on lady Im lost Im a customer she said these people have paid for this place I then proceeded to get a little upset and Im not something of a table the lady who works there ran up to me and tried to punch me in the face theyve been screamed cost act like animals flipping me off cussing me out calling me a f***** and other horrible terms I cannot believe that this place is so highly rated this is the worst place ever and I will continue to pursue this in fact Im probably going to the Better Business Bureau and Im going to put this on Facebook and everywhere else I go I will not be treated like this so I hope those of you reading this understand that if you are from out of town and you are lost and you need some kind of help this is not the business to go to this maybe not ever want to come back to San Diego

My wife and kids surprise me with pure amazingness in a cup.... Thriftys circus animal cookie ice-cream, I could not believe it. I grew up in So Cal and loved Thriftys ice-cream as a kid as well as Mothers circus animal cookies so to have them combined was like tasting everything I enjoyed as a child PLUS it still is served in the nostalgic cylinder type scoop every Thriftys used. Will be back for sure!
