Crafts persons dream I love this store. I need orange marbles for my centerpiece found them and this fall wreath.

Staff is always super nice and helpful. Could not find the paisley print, or the pink and light green striped. Did find several other fabrics for my quilts that I was looking for.

JoAnns is DOG FRIENDLY so they get an automatic 5 stars from me. Their selection on other things besides fabrics and sewing needs is kinda small, but they are primarily known for sewing so I can’t be mad about that. The store is clean and organized. The staff are all friendly so it’s a nice place to shop.

Joanns is very convenient and close to my house. It has a great selection of fabric and a person can learn any type of cfafts they desire.

Somehow, Dad takes daughter there all the timeYeah, and I pick up the bill half the time too!They are great at having craft supplies, fabric and sewing stuff for my daughters cosplay and sewing projects. If you need help, the staff is pretty knowledgeable as well.

Super friendly service. The cashier gave great recommendations while I was there getting flowers for a ceremony swag. What she recommended definitely came in handy.

Had what I wanted but my checkout experience what not. My daughter was able to use her coupon a day early but I was not. Didnt want to make a scene but whats fair for one should be for all.

Inventory is always lacking here. I never see employees walking around or asking me if i need help like at other Joann locations. Staff is nice and store is clean.

This place is Bad....I bought a gift certificate for my mom and when she went to use it, she could not use it as the gift card had no money on it according to them. I should have kept receipt but I did not but still its not am excuse for them not to honor a 20 dollar gift card..My wife spends 100s of dollars at hobby lobby and now we avoid Johannes at all cost 20 dollars versus NOW, I AM GIESSING ABOUT 5000 TO 6000 GRAND. Plus it feels like a thrift store. Which is cool but not what we have in mind when my wife makes gifts for friends and family.

Love the selection and quality of items and they definitely have the best selection of fabric. The fabric section is quite overwhelming and it was hard to find help to choose the best fabric for my project but I still like my purchases.

Busy and has lots to offer. Never seem to be enough staff to back up. But they are busy, we made a quick run but even though website said available and the call to store said available and on display. We did not find the item, and the person who was going to assist went to back up somewhere.

Its a good craft store really expensive but staff is very friendly with a pet friendly environment

The employees are always nice and helpful the only compliant is sometimes its hard to find someone who can help you when you cant find the item your looking for.

Attention all Joann stores, please make your restrooms a more pleasant experience. Nice people spend their money here and it would be a pleasant surprise if the restrooms didnt feel like a crummy old, seen better days, gas station in the middle of nowhere. We deserve better.

The store was pretty empty, I use to buy alot of products here . Kinda sad to see it so bare.

The ladies cutting the fabric were very helpful. Our checkout lady was very friendly. Helped us find coupons.

They have a great selection of fabrics. I got some faux fur for a project and since sewing tools. The best part is that they were on sale!

I walked all over the store looking for the new Diamond Dots until I decided to ask the associate at the register. She was very kind and directed me to exactly the right isle! I was able to look at and get exactly what I needed!

Dont go in the store right now if you have seizures of any kind. This store has several lights that are blinking either at a rapid rate or on and off. I mentioned it to two people and neither one of them really seemed to care. Once at all Ill tell it to management. Like they were blowing me off.I had to go outside and sit down. Two others joined me shortly because of the lighting.

This place has everything from clothes to flowers to even toys, but with all that comes a catch. The workers there are rude be because im a kid in a fabrics store so they dont help me, not to mention that they have the option to help me because they have a surplus amount of workers just standing around, I find yarn everywhere on the floors and paint on the floors too and when I go into use the restroom there is soda bottles everywhere and paper towels on the walls. Thank you for your time.

Great selection of yarn and fabric. Hard to sometimes find little details, but employees are very knowledgeable about locations.

The staff was super friendly. I have no complaints there. However the prices were a bit outrageous for what you get. Went in for beading supplies and while I could find plenty of constructing materials, I couldnt find any nice spacing beads, hideaway beads, or clamping clasps. It was a lot of repeats of the same 3mm, 4mm, and 1/2in of everything. I was hoping for a more diverse selection. Oh well. Its a petty complaint, but this craft store is the only one I live anywhere near.

I buy a lot of yarn for projects and they always have what Im looking for and often a lot more! Its often hard to find an associate that isnt working the cutting counter or the register, though which is frustrating if youre looking for something specific.

It was pretty cleared out, but it was expected. I dont remember much else. Someone did come to help me, in a food amount of time. I got something similar as they didnt have the exact product of the company. Also, purchased some Rust-oleum color shifting spray paint, very happy.

Another store I get lost in and it takes me forever to leave. I love how many different things I can buy out of here. Love it

What is the point of offering curbside pick up of it won’t be ready the same day or next day. What good is it to be condescending when a customer calls to ask the time frame. My recommendation is to go to another craft store because who wants to wait a week for something to end up getting an email saying it’s out of stock.

Several of the women who work there are very rude. Typically clean, but not well organized which makes it look a little messy. It is an okay store, I have had to wait in a line with literally 20 people, I have also checked out immediately.

I made an order online and paid through PayPal which meant I used my debit card. I returned the merchandise and was told I had to get a store gift card because I paid througn PayPal. I dont normally shop here. I was merely trying to get some holiday flowers. I contacted customer service by email and was told the same thing. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!

They close in days that they say they are open without even telling anyone. The hours are never correct. This issue needs to be addressed.

Fun store with lots of craft ideas

This place is a crafters dream! Even the customers are nice. Like last week I totally face planted on the concrete in front of the store and a lady asked if I was okay and picked up my phone for me.

One of my happy places. The Independence store is easily my favorite in the KC area, and I can always find something I need. I highly recommend adding the Joann app - great coupons, always, and the cashiers know how to process them unlike some other stores. Everything you need to be creative. Even at extremely busy times (you seriously wouldnt believe the Black Friday crowds over the years....) I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this particular store.

It was picked pretty clean and they dont have enough check outs for the holidays. Plan to stand in line a very long time.

This place is crafty

So, when we were in quarantine, I was torn about Joanns stores being open. But, my rationale was that they were doing it so that people could buy mask making supplies. Well, here we are a few months later and we have over 120,000 deaths in the US. Joanns is still open and guess what? They are not making you wear a mask in the store. Over 50% of the people in my local store had no mask on. Including their staff. Do they care about you and your well-being? Doesnt look that way. Looks like it was always about the corporate dollar.

Good selection of fabrics. Alot of merchandise on sale! Everyone was wearing masks and service was fast at checkout as well as fabric cutting station. Overall good experience. Thanks!
