The store is well stocked, rarely out of anything I need. Clean and tidy. Employee attitudes range from reasonably pleasant professionalism to very cheerful and informative, but never unpleasant. They sometimes seem short-handed and I may have a longer wait now and then, but thats a very common problem in todays labor market.

Heres 2 of my grandkids. They both love their bears. We got the Elsa one and PJ Max one. These are Awesome Bears. Plenty of Choices of Apparel and Accessories. Keepsake memories that last. Beautiful!!!

Worst customer service experience ever. Today I had 3 items so I went to the self checkout. One of the items couldnt be scanned so I had to wait for somebody to help me. Waited 10 minutes, there was a lady, some sort of head clerk. She noticed us but she ignored us. So I went to the checkout lane with a clerk. Waited there for 10 minutes, then somebody opened a new checkout lane. I went there and the clerk by mistake inverted my cupcakes so they were all messed up. He called the same head clerk to grab us the new cup cakes. The lady was going to grab cupcakes but she noticed now that self checkout lane people need help. So she started helping them while we already paid for the merchandise and looked at what she was doing now. My wife got mad and she went by herself to grab cup cakes. Forget to mention that when I went from the self checkout lane to the lane with the clerk then that lady was looking for us that we might have walked out of the store without paying. Thats really messed up. I pay for all of the stuff I need. What a waste of 30 minutes of life in Hy Vee. I regret that.

Thank you to the pharmacy! Especially to the Pharmacy Tech Shelby S.. she was very helpful with our shots and she helped several customers, going above and beyond with them!!! Hyvee should be proud to have a great associates like her. Not the norm these days...

REMEMBER WHEN THERE WAS A HELPFUL SMILE IN EVERY ISLE. JUST A MASK NOW. I try to only use hy-vee because they are employee owned. I just wish the employees knew this because yall are getting carried away with forcing them to comply please re-evaluate who we visit and give money too. They are trying to hold your fellow American down.

This Grocery store has just about everything you could want and need. (Besides the high prices of course, obviously we dont need or want those.) I would give it a 5 star if they had lower prices. It has all the departments youd normally find in a grocery store, (meat, deli, bakery, dairy, grocery, paper goods, produce, etc) and it has a beautiful floral shop with arrangements and planters for every occasion. It has a full service pharmacy and a nice sized liquor store. It has a second floor indoor eating area with tables and chairs so all the old fogies can have a beer and BS with each other while watching their wives shop. Yes, I said it, have a beer at a grocery store! They also have a fresh sushi restaurant and an amazing deli that sells hot and cold meals. Employees are very helpful and pleasant . Great location, very convenient, and good entrances and exits to the parking lot. It also has a local bank branch inside, and its own gas station outside. During the warmer months they do BBQ and sell smoked meats, hotdogs, and hamburgers! All in all a very enjoyable place to do your grocery shopping. :)

They also have Walburgers here at this location. Its a stand-alone full-service restaurant in kind of a bar like atmosphere.Organic food. Floral department, Pharmacy. Friendly employees. You are asked to wear a mask.

I love shopping in this large spacious grocery store. Fresh produce is nicely merchandise. The hot and cold food bar offers an array of choices. The little hidden gem is the restuarant with a large bar. Food service ends at 2p but u can purchase at the deli and eat in the restaurant plus order a cocktail! As the bartendar said best happy hour that side of town!!

A great store in each and every way. Selection is tremendous, clean everywhere, well stocked, well staffed, a great place to shop. Very reasonable prices, just like anywhere you got to shop for the best bargains. If you have any issue with a posted price or a shelf price not matching an ad, or being what you would like, just mention it to an employee and they will see to it that you get satisfied.

Great prices! Clean. Staff is always friendly. Cashier (dirty blonde, white lady in her mid 50s-60s) can’t remember her name maybe Karina? But she was the KINDEST lady ever. We went in 3x while visiting family in Independence- and she is so friendly. She was always upbeat, pleasant to talk to, etc. She deserves a RAISE.

Its clean. However I found no help on the floor. Then when I went to self checkout I had a package of meat with the yellow sticker, I could not get ot to ring up. I stepped back to look around & get help. Mind you I was beside a regular check, the woman seen me & never said a word to say she would get some or if I needed help. I didnt get the item &.went to the register where my friend was getting rung up. My friend said please & thank to this cashier and she never spoke.Very very bad service.I will not go backHire some people so they can work and train them to be of SERVICE!

To me I think the store could be more sensibility arranged thinks should be put in a convenient order instead I have to look down practically every isle to find what I need, staff is very friendly and helpfull and the store is clean thats why I badge them 4 stars.

This is my new goto place, it had plenty of deals and plenty things to shop for here,hot food,spirits,great sale items.

We ordered a fried chicken buffet for our wedding yesterday and it was awesome. All of the food was done right on time and it was delicious. The portion size was more than generous and we had plenty of leftovers for our guests to take home. I would highly recommend them for anyone that needs an event catered.

Prices are kind of high. Could find most items at other retailers for less. Not a huge selection of items either. But its close to my house and convenient.

We were on our way back to Joplin from the Royals game, and stopped in for some sushi and fresh baked bread. We are Florida transplants, and HYVEE is as close to a Publix as you can get! We NEED a Hyvee in Joplin! Have plans been finalized on a Joplin location? I hear it is in the works! Please say its so, I absolutely cant stand the choices we have in the Joplin area now. We need a HYVEE!! I cant drive that far to shop in a weekly basis!! Any response would be greatly appreciated!!

A great place to grab a cup of coffee and shop. As convenient as it gets... And you can check on the game on one of the TVs in the bar.

Essentially it is a wonderful store, however the secret shoppers, and the in store private security need alot of compassion training. I actually left my items without purchasing them, because of the persistent immature behavior they displayed

Yesterday, an associate, Olivia, was so incredibly rude while checking us out and lacked even the most basic customer service. As most of the employees at this location are kind, I hope management sees this and takes the necessary steps to correct this detestable behavior. Aside from being outwardly homophobic, Olivia also put our eggs in plastic after we requested paper only. Hy-Vee management, please remind Olivia about your mission/ value statement or terminate her employment before she offends more customers.

I love the deli and sushi selection, but I recently made a special order for my husbands and I wedding anniversary. I called it in on Wednesday and it was ready by Saturday evening. It wasnt a normal sheet cake though it was a 2 tier carrot cake with custom tye dye icing and beautiful flowers. It exceeded my expectations and was delicious beyond imagination! Would highly recommend and will go back for more!

This is a excellent store. Each shopping trip has been a good experience. I purchases prepared food for my churchs Wednesday dinner from the kitchen area. Those who have ate the meals enjoyed them and expressed good compliments of how delicious the food was.

Customer service is great, employees are always willing to help and they dont get frustrated.

This is a large Ivy it is very clean very nice to go to and happy its 24 hours so when I work late nights I can still get food before I go home

Not corwding at all. Everything is spread out a little unorganized in my opinion but its very nice that they have the self check out stations and then the bigger stations to check out. I just wish things werent so confusing to find. The CACU credit union is in here and the staff there is really friendly and efficient!

The cafe has terrific options for lunch and dinner. The Salmon was awesome.

We went to the one at hwy 40 and Noland road in Kansas City, MO and got a Reuben deli sandwich that was THE BEST grocery store deli sandwich Ive ever had!!! We had to go back and by the remaining 4 they had since we dont have a Hy-Vee in my hometown

This location has the best sushi and the best poke bowls, they have been perfect every single time. The other locations are too hit or miss with quality.

Nothing dramatic to complain about. Went in and out relatively quickly.

Not many lines open in the evening when I went lines where all long had to use self checkout. Had quite a bit of stuff so wasnt happy about it but thought it would be quicker since there was no line. Ended up having to wait for someone to come over to to ask if I needed a receipt and then because I said no I was able to go. Dont like the self checkout there because everytime its some kind of a issue.

Didnt like my visit due to cash register being broke and could not produce receipt. Also cashier in liquor dept was rude and impatient with customers.

Highly disappointed with this store. Very unprofessional when it comes to employees. I only worked here very briefly due to being wrongfully fired. I called in to work because of feeling sick from the Covid vaccine. What happens next? I am removed from the schedule, never heard from anyone at the store, after multiple attempts to call them. About a week later I call AGAIN to speak to the HR manager, finally get ahold of the guy (he had a very rude way of communicating and kept interrupting me), and find out that I am no longer working at the store. Without ANY contact, without ANY one letting me know. No warning that I was let go. Not one single phone call or email. I have been working for this company since 2017, and never have I ever been treated so poorly by a Hy-Vee store. Shame on you.

I come here for lunch every day, it’s perfect.... well almost perfect! They have everything from healthy options to junk foods, snacks, pizza and Starbucks!! I only have one complaint, please stop ruining healthy greens with bacon! It can easily be an add on but it can’t be taken off..... but there are a lot of options, thank you Hy-vee because of you I don’t have to meal prep!

If youre looking for Sushi or Chinese Food this Hyvee has the best out of all the ones Ive been to. The comparison is like night and day compared to other Hyvee locations. The lady who makes the sushi is very nice and will make rolls for you if they dont have them already out in the case. The Tiger Roll is my favorite but there are some really tasty sushi rolls here at a great price.

Over priced... I only go in here if I am in a hurry and just got paid.... bit often DO have stuff I cant find at Walmarts groceries

Hyvee is in decline. Not stocking. Prices much higher than competition. Dont have some common items. Meat counter is only bright spot. Oh and after spending $200 for groceries, they expect you to self check and sack your own stuff. Will miss but hello Price Chopper.

Ate breakfast, food was ok not the best. Took 25 mins just to get our food. Service was horrible. The lady acted if she didn’t care whatsoever. Forgot half of what I ordered, had to ask another waitress for the rest of food. Didn’t even say anything when given our food. Need to work on their “scrambled” eggs because they look like an omelette.

I usually have mixed feelings about this place, its not so much the store as it is the wine & spirits. The liquor store assistant manager confronted me last Dec. for a matter I thought was resolved but apparently I was wrong. Instead of making things better and/or right. He made them worse so I hadnt come in for nearly 3 months. When I did come back the few folks who did work up here mentioned that he said something in the notion of protecting them. Whoever is being referred to I can say he did a poor job of it. Fast forward to two weeks ago on Sunday, I lost a close friend of mine to suicide. I came in and saw certain bottles had that mail-in-rebate on them so I grabbed one. I thought the girl had put a receipt in the bag as she had fiddled with it (and given you need it for that mail-in-rebate) but when I got home I didnt see it. I didnt think anything of it as I knew I was going to be back up. Coming up again that Tuesday I asked for a receipt but didnt get one. Same thing happened again that Thurs. I came in that Sat. and the new? guy was real hesitant and more or less wasted my time. Instead of making things a win-win situation he flat out said he wasnt going to do anything. Then Mr. receipts asked if I wanted just that.A manager talked to me but was more fascinated by my friends passing. She even went as far as to say his suicide was interesting. What is so interesting about that? Let alone his funeral. I was told I would be getting a call but no one has called, updated or said anything to me.

This Hy-Vee will always be my favorite because I worked here when I was 17 back in 2007 when Paul Hoppman ran the store. He was an awesome guy and was always so nice and took care of his employees, his customers, and his store. I loved working there. To this day it is still ran and kept up great, its one of the largest Hyvees I feel with lots of selection and stocked constantly. Employees are always friendly and helpful as well and usually know where things are or will try to help you find it one way or another as with most Hyvees, they definitely strain that with their employees, not to send a customer off in a certain direction towards an item with turn by turn directions but go with them and show them or find another employee who can leave their stand if you cant. They have redesigned and remodeled and have installed self check-outs recently as well. Always a great store!

Hyvee is a great place to grocery shop. Customer service is great. Weekly deals are decent and always something in store that isn’t advertised. A few issue with advertised deals especially meat being “buried” or not well labeled and easy to find. Also frequently sold out and won’t be back in stock soon aka limited time deals. But that’s ok.

This pharmacy is unprofessional and mishandles customers medications. I have been a visitor to it several times and always witness customers complaint regarding meds not filled and doctors have submitted request for these medications. One woman was told her medication request went to Iowa and to come back the next day to pick up. Another customer was told her Doctor didn’t submit a refill and the woman said she had just left his office and was there when they did. They told one woman they had her medicine twice and later said it would be ready in 30 mins to an hour then told her after she had waited 45 mins it must had been for another customer they never had a request from her doctor. Someone in authority over this facility needs to help revive and relieve this insufficient staff who care nothing about their responsibility to give public concern regarding dispensing medication. I m beginning to wonder if they all are taking customers medication for themselves and on a medication high.

Hy-Vee is consistently more expensive than the other places around it. Like, to a crazy degree. The only upside is you can get in and out really fast and the deli is wonderful.

Love Hy-Vee! Fuel savers are one of my favorite things about shopping here. I just paid $.59 per gallon to fill my car up. $9 for a full tank of gas? Oh yeah, sounds good to me! They also have a great assortment and variety of different food brands, love their organic section, all prices are great, stores are clean, organized, and well stocked. It is my favorite grocery store!
