This was our second visit, we had brought friends from out of town. Will never return or recommend this place to anyone. Bacon on sandwich was uncooked and the service was terrible. But the final straw i purchased a 4 pack to go and when i sat down Sundays afternoon to have a beer. Guess what it was the wrong beer. Because the guy behind the bar was to lazy to make me 4 cans. In stead he said the ones in the cooler were miss labeled and gave me those. Word of mouth is what keeps these small breweries in business why would you do this. Why would you have someone on your payroll.

This was a great place to visit. We are just getting started in brewing and they were so helpful. They have a unique Reuben pizza, which you think wouldn’t be good but is! The beer is decent. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

One of the very few brewing stores i can find but they got a pretty good selection. Sometimes pricey no different than any other store. Theyve got a good grain selection

I got into home brewing because I love good beer and cooking. I found Apex through a recommendation from a friend who is a great home brewer and I decided to check em out. I walked in on a busy Saturday with around 10 people in the store and I was immediately greeted. I looked around at all of the cool stuff that they have but I played it cool and focused on the reason that I was really there, KEGS. I had heard that they had a good deal on new 5 gallon kegs and I went for that. We ended up talking about kegging and brewing for about an hour. I came back the next week to learn more and hangout a bit. These folks are super nice and very good at explaining everything about brewing from beginner to expert level. I have since developed a great relationship with these guys and brewed many good beers. I couldnt be happier with my home brew shop.

I first met Jeremy before he had a retail location and was selling solely out of his home. He came into the liquor store that I work at and dropped off some business cards. Ever since that day, knowing the level of commitment to customer service and the level of knowledge that Jeremy and his staff have; I have never referred anyone to any other home brewing supply store. They have consistently gone out of their way to help me when I need something and have gone above and beyond for anyone that I have referred there. I will never hesitate to refer someone to these guys!

A wide selection of brewing accessories, different barleys and flavors for highly costomized at home brewing. Great selection of wine brewing kits as well. One side of the store is dedicated to BBQ, with woods for smoking, and sauces for marinating. Even a selection of BBQ grills if you are starting from square 1 or looking to upgrade.

Went to the store yesterday and spoke with a gentleman about the Green Mountain Smokers. He knew I was not going to spend the money that day, but still took the time to show me the smoker and answer questions. He even took the grill apart to explain some of the features. It was clear he was customer focused, I will be returning to buy my smoker from this business.

I started home brewing almost three years ago. The owner has been very kind and generous with his time as he has guided me through this process. I am always welcomed warmly in the store and have orders filled very quickly. I even called the owner after hours once and he returned my call to help me. Do not listen to the one-star ratings, do not listen to anything but the five-star ratings. I have gone to Apex religiously (on average, once a week) since beginning to homebrew as well as buying a pellet smoker. I can say that Jeremy, along with the rest of the staff, are the most attentive, extremely knowledgeable, and more than willing to talk to you about any and everything as well as answer any questions. There is absolutely nothing untidy, no organizational issues, and I cannot think of any complaints whatsoever.
