This coffee shop is amazing. The staff is always so kind and never rush even when they’re busy. I absolutely LOVE their coffee. I wish they had a stand-alone location in the liberty area, I would go there constantly. Unfortunately since independence is quite a drive we only get to visit when we go to the mall or are close to the mall, which is seldom the case. I 100000% recommend them!

Gloria Jeans is consistently the highlight of my day! The staff is charming, the drinks are delicious, & even the smell of the coffee beans are enticing! All of the baristas have a good grasp of the menu & all of their offerings. I’ve truly never had a bad drink or experience from here. Even when it has been busy & I’ve come in, they’ve made time to exchange pleasantries & send me out the door with a smile. I’m a regular & they definitely know my order when I come in (a raspberry mocha over ice)! I must warn you though, you’ll never be able to stomach Starbucks again after having Gloria Jeans. I know it is about the coffee, & their’s truly is the best & most smooth (!), but honest to goodness the kind, warm, & familiar baristas are what have me coming back. Truthfully, my only qualm is having to venture into the Independence Center every time I have a hankering for their coffee, but I’d even say it’s worth the risk haha. Sharee, Aj, & Jen, you guys are rockstars, thank you for giving me my caffeine fix when I come in & making me tolerable to be around haha!

The staff here is always wonderful if you don’t know what you want to order. Every time I’ve been in can’t decide they recommend the most popular items and their favorites, including good substitutions for out of season and discontinued flavors.

My family and I were enjoying a Sunday at the mall and we decided to try this coffee shop. We are not familiar with the menu, so of course we had to look it over. The young man who was taking our order seemed irritated with us and at one point rolled his eyes at my daughter. We were the only customers, so its not like it was busy. Also, my youngest daughter does not like coffee and I was not sure what the non-coffee selections were. I asked the cashier and he just point over to a board like I was wasting his time! Ummmm isnt that his job?? I atleast gave 2 stars because the lady that gave us our drinks was very nice. This just happened yesterday 4/25/2021. The coffee was really good, but Im not sure if the service is worth it??

I only go here about once a year at Christmas. My sister-in-law loves there coffee. Too bad the only one around is 100 miles from me. None the less I really enjoy there coffee as well and what ever she gets for Christmas I buy myself to. This year it was unfortunate that they had discontinued most of there Christmas blends. The only one they had was out of stock to. The girl helping me was very very helpful. Wish I knew her name cause I would post it. She was very friendly and went over what they did have available and gave me a small sample of one. I have never had bad service when I’ve been there even when they are busy. I recommend them if you have never tried before. My only complaint is that I went for a gift for one of the Christmas flavor beans but they had none. With the year we have had though with covid it’s not something to be unexpected. Coffee is a bit pricey but the flavors so far have been worth there weight in gold.

I have never been disappointed going here. The flavors are so robust and continue on even if you bring the beans home do it yourself. Not to mention the multiple different sweet to tempt your taste buds. The crew are always the most polite and helpful. I have yet to taste everything, but I am determined! I would go every day if I could! This is real coffee not the other one everybody goes to not to name names SB. Lemon bats, chocolate, berry, muffins, cheesecake,cookies and yes...more. so many flavors in coffee alone to make you happy. So need this in my daily life!!!!

I go here several times a week, Gloria Jean’s is severely underrated in my opinion. Their coffee reigns supreme for me. Made the mistake of stopping at Starbucks in a hurry and their coffee just doesn’t compare it tastes so burnt. It’s unfortunate, they’re the Walmart of coffee. Glorias is the best and the employees at this location are very sweet and fast!

My friend and I wanted Irish Cream flavor. First she did not put creamer in mine at all, then we found out the lady has given us Columbian. Not a way to start the day!

It’s ok. My first time there o asked the lady twice which was better the mocha voltage or the white chocolate mocha and she just explained what they were... I told her again I have never been here which do you think is better.. and she explained what they were again..so I just ordered the white chocolate mocha... disappointing she didn’t have “time” to tell me her opinion

I go in here frequently with a friend of mine and i’ve never had an order messed up, or a bad experience with the employees. The woman working the last time I was here, I believe her name was Cheryl, was very respectful and got my order made correctly and accurately. All around, a good store!

Always really yummy. I got a regular and I couldnt even finish it. Theyre a little on the expensive side, especially when youre with a group. But always pretty worth it. Dont have to wait to long. Super cute shop. Smells really nice too.

I love both, but here I like to get the non coffee drink avalanche and pretty sure you could add coffee in too. Incredible customer service from the baristas in this welcoming hang out. Oh! Love this place. Always come here to buy beans buy the pound. It is pretty pricey and costs significantly more than anywhere else, but their coffee is amazing and they have great and unique flavors, like amaretto (my favorite) and German chocolate cake. Staff is always super nice and friendly too. Prepared drinks are alright and again different from the typical starbucks type place.

Always a great time everytime I get coffee and or muffins here!!! Good prices, amazing flavor choices and combinations and decent staff. Sometimes there is a small issue with staff being a little rude but honestly they are always busy or slammed so I just dont even worry about them. If you love coffee then Gloria Jeans is the place to go!!!

This is hands down my favorite coffee place, and Im not just saying that because I used to work there. It was my favorite before I worked there, while I worked there and after. All the baristas are put through rigorous training and know their stuff by the time theyre allowed to work alone. They will help you find your new favorite drink and if you dont love it theyll make you something else. Also, let me tell you, everything is always fresh and clean.

Absolutely positively THE best blended coffee Ive ever had. The place smells so very amazing I just had to try it out. My son and I both wanted to try the coco mint blender so we decided to split a large. It was 32 Oz! Delicious!

From the deft skills of the baristas to the tasty selection of coffee beans, Gloria Jeans is superb. I tend not to like flavoured coffees but the natural approach that Gloria Jean takes with their beans has never disappointed me. They are situated in a classic mall setting and this location has been here since the beginning in the 1980s. There are tables at the back and a nice selection of gift items, snacks, and basic sandwiches and pastries to choose from. Even if you arent shopping at the mall, I recommend stopping in for some brew.

Absolutely wonderful!!! Great environment, very comfy feel as soon as you walk in and i totally recommend the caramel, vanilla chiller with an extra espresso shot. So amazing will probably stop by everytime we go to the mall now.

The people working there were so sweet! I got a vanilla latte (which tasted amazing, by the way) and went back for a second coffee, and they gave me a discount just for coming back! Their service and coffee are both amazing! Definitely consider going there if youre in need of some good coffee and smiles.

We asked for 7 coffees and they could only make us 4 ☹️ because they didnt have enough things to do the other 3, its sad because we drove 30 minutes for a coffee, its the closest glory jeans coffee. One of the employees ignored us when we asked for an extra plastic cup.

Absolutely horrible customer service. While waiting for my coffee I noticed that they were getting behind on orders while a gentleman that worked there was sitting at the tables talking on his phone. He was asked a couple of times to help and he didnt. Meanwhile myself and others were getting aggravated. I approached the gentleman and asked for a name. With attitude he said his name was AJ. I Nicely asked if he could help and again was given attitude and rudely ignored. I complained to a young lady and it was addressed. However, it was clear that this AJ had more important things to do then help. This has not been the first time Ive had a bad experience there, also threw observations watching this young man with other customers and employees. I will take my business elsewhere until they can find better customer service.

Love this place but twice now within the last month I have went to get coffee and they are closed, when I drive 15 to 20 min just to get their coffee its kind of frustrating! Dont say you close at 9 if you shut the doors before its even 830

Gross! Burrito tasted like microwave burritos! My gingerbread iced coffee didn’t have whip cream or anything on top. Not good. Wish I would’ve loved it!

I get my favorite coffee drink here! The English Toffee Twist Chiller. This location is fast and friendly. Prices are comparable to other coffee shops.

Me and my boyfriend went here this morning, it was my first time going here but my boyfriends second time. Very nice atmosphere and great people! I got the vanilla latte (carmel machiotto) and my boyfriend did as well. Both were delicious!! Customer service was amazing, and the lady that rang me up even gave me history about the place. You could tell she really loves her job, along with the girl who made our drinks. Lovely place, lovely people, lovely drinks! Cant say enough good things about this place! I will definitely be back!

Best Baristas ever.

Im a barista, and I went into Gloria jeans today to grab a quick drink before shopping with family. Hoping to get an americano I ordered a 16oz hot americano with no room for cream. After waiting 4-5 minutes and being the only customer in the store, I was served an americano that tasted as though the barista had pulled the same espresso shots twice. Incredibly watery, stale, and bitter. I understand messing up a ticket, but I was really dissatisfied with the customer service as well as the drink.
