This place is pretty good. the employees are super friendly, they solve whatever you need. The prices are the best I have seen, even better than buying online, they also have a lot of merchandise, I went to several stores and only here did I find what I was looking for.

Great store, Ive purchased 3 pistols and a rifle from this store. They are extremely knowledgeable. They held a great cc course that I attended, but I let it expire while I was stationed in California. I cant say much for ammunition sales as I purchased mine elsewhere, but if it was as good of an experience as the firearms then Im sure its great.

They are very knowledgeable and will help you buy and get to know your first firearm all the way up to your twentieth firearm. If you are under 40 but are knowledgeable with firearms they will treat you like you dont have a clue. Prices are outrageously high compared to online stores. I get the mark-up is necessary but not when i get told i cant inspect a rifle myself. I will buy the couple items i need to finish my ar15 build that I dont want to wait on shipping to get in my hand. I wont be buying from them anymore.

Went in to get my first sig on 3/2/19.Theses fellas couldnt be more knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. The inventory is remarkable, new or used. Fantastic buying experience.And the guard dog (Tank) is a sweetheart, Id probably go back just to see him.

While I am familiar with guns/firearms I am not anywhere close to knowledgeable when it comes to choosing the right one for me. The guys at C.R. Sales were very helpful and very patient and walked me through a thought process that helped me figure out what I needed versus what I thought I wanted. Their prices are very good. When I take the expertise they have and share and combine that with those prices I find it hard to find a better value.

These guys are fantastic. I value their expertise and passion for doing what they do. I could just hang out there all day listening to these guys because they are not really selling anything. They are sharing their own passion and experience just as you would if you were sitting down drinking a beer with your best friend. Their pricing is very reasonable. But if all you care about is buying something for 5 dollars cheaper online. Please dont bother them. They are busy helping good folks make important buying decisions and I have not met 1 single employee that works there that doesnt have the same vision, patience and excitement that Charlie has.Also, in regards to the negative comment from Nick Dee. The downside to taking time to understand your customers needs is that it takes time. If you are in a hurry. Call first and make an appointment. Im sure they will accommodate you. This is a small local business and everyone that works there has lots of expertise. If you just want someone to take care of you immediately and you dont care if they know their arse from a hole in the ground. Go to Walmart or Bass Pro and take a number.

When the gen 4 Glock 19 came out everyone was out of stock and I called him and he said I have 20 of em. Plus he was cheaper than everyone else! Bought a used pistol from him today! Go check em out!

The owner or the older man working there has always been rude to me . Even when he thought I might be buying something . Seems more interested in sales than being nice to a potential customer . I love this place as soon as you walk in the the door they make you feel welcome. This gets lost at a lost of businesses. I have come in here when they have been very busy and they will still take the time with you. As far prices go I think their prices are right in aligned with other shops plus or minus but if your price shopping take account what a smaller shop will do for you once you build that relationship. Been there only a few times, but courteous staff. A family member of mine has bought several firearms and had work done on some and loves the place.

The best in the state! I was blown away by their service! Im sending my parents there to get their CCWs. Everyone their was very helpful, knew what they were talking about, and you could joke with them and they would joke back! that is completely unheard of at any other gun shop Ive been to, of which there are many!

Awesome place, only store I buy my guns from. They know what they are talking about and are very helpful... only down fall is sometimes they get crowded and it takes a bit to get help, but thats my only complaint.

I bought a Stoeger condor longfowler from CR guns. This is for my son to trapshoot with. Charlie spent over an hour going over the gun and trap shooting techniques. Since bass pro had them on sale and both bass pro shops in our area were out of stock, He price matched for me. No other gun shop I know of does this. He never pushed us to buy a gun either. I’ve bought here before and plan on continuing doing business there.

This 2 star review is in regards to using this shop for FFL transfers ONLY. They stated $20 transfer fee per item over the phone but when I went to pick the two lowers up it turned into $40 per lower. That is extremely expensive for just a simple FFL transfer. I understand they probably do it that way so you will buy from them directly and I respect that but they should be more clear about it over the phone. Maybe this was just a one time mistake made by a new employee. Either way there is nothing I could do once they had possession of my items except pay what they asked for. Other than that it seems like a nice store with friendly staff.

Dont go unless youre going to spend $2,000!!! Rude staff and high prices, some over MSRP. I understand a small markup to pay your bills, but being rude to someone on a budget is not a way to get buissness. I was ready to spend over $200 on parts but due to rude service and negative connotation about being on a budget I walked out and wont be back. Now I remember why I hadnt gone there in several years!!

Was just in C R sales and was browsing around as I like to do. Overheard the owner price a 1000 round case of 5.56 ammo for $700.00 dollars to a fellow customer. ?!?!?! When I asked him why he was selling this ammo for nearly double the going rate of $400.00 dollars? With and ATTITUDE, he proceeded to tell me that was what it was going for on Gun Broker (an online auction site). He tried to justify his unscrupulous pricing by saying "if individuals can get that much online, that he would do the same". What he doesnt understand is that he is a business, built on return customers and public opinion. And any viable long term business is based on ethics, customer service and not lowering themselves to the level of the common street peddler in times of political unrest. And not to mention, if we can get priced gouged online while sitting at our desks, why would we leave our homes to be taken advantage of, insulted and pay tax? I suggest you for-go patronizing a business that has predatory pricing especially when the firearm and sporting community should be standing together insuring our hobby and 2nd amendment rights! I know myself and everyone I can inform, will send our business elsewhere... Shame on the opportunistic.

Drove about 80 miles to get to C.R Sales, even though they were super busy Charlie, the owner, took all the time we wanted and needed to answer our questions and show and explain different guns to my wife and I. We never once felt hurried or pressured. There are firearm stores much closer than C.R. Sales but they are now our gun store. I was checking on a new Glock 42. I believe Glocks suggested retail price is $460.00 that is what Charlie sells them for. I contacted and dealer in Liberty and they wanted $599.00 for the same pistol.

Had them do a transfer for me, $20, fair enough. The guy behind the counter mentioned that instead of buying online, I should ask if they can find the same firearm for a similar price it wouldnt hurt to ask he said. I said OK Then I told him what i paid for a Colt 6721, on sale for $799 - a price he didnt believe til I showed him the receipt, he kind of had an attitude after that.Because I ordered 2 firearms to be delivered there, one not arrived yet, I kept my cool because I had to come back to do the other transfer.Fast forward the following week, I come back to do the other transfer. Same as before, do the paperwork, then go to pay for the service... $40...I said why is it doubled from the last time?? The guy says we charge $40 for a used gun transfer, this was total B.S. because both guns were new in box from another dealer and besides what difference does it makes when buying new or used when it comes to a background check. I told him both guns I purchase were new & the package & paperwork received were evident and I only paid $20 last week. His only response was you got lucky.I have called them numerous times in the past to check on how much they charged for transfers and was always quoted over the phone $20. They decided to charge me double when I showed them they couldnt come close to the prices I can find online - which is a subject I didnt even bring up myself but was asked by them to compare prices.I didnt have a choice but to pay it. To top it off both gun transfers were delayed the full 3 days before they allowed me to pick up, now I cant prove this but I think, in my opinion only, that they did this out of spite. I cant prove this but in the 20+ years of buying firearms regularly, this has never happened.Avoid these gun shop commandos like a plague unless you enjoy stroking their egos!! Not getting a dime from me or any of my friends who are into firearms as well. Even if they had the last .22 ammo on earth for sale!! Lucky we live in a town where there are numerous other gun shops that has excellent customer service.

I picked up a Glock G19 Gen 4 from them, along with a holster, ammunition, and some cleaning supplies. I was helped by a young man who I believe is in the military, and who seemed knowledgeable. I did my research before going in, but I still asked him quite a few questions. He gave me some advice about various things. They are also listed on the Glock website as a GLOCK Perfection Dealer. I have no idea what that means, but I was able to find the glock model I was looking for there, and it was in stock. Overall Im happy with my experience there, and will keep them in mind for future purchases.

Over the years I have had two trusted gun shops I always liked to visit. One was a shop owned by a gunsmith who has been a friend since I was 14 years old. The second is CR Sales.

This place is a complete waste of time to visit. stood there for over 40 mins while 4 workers talked with friends about if they had any money they would buy this gun or that gun.even worse I drove over 30 miles to get there after I called to see if they had what I needed and if the gunsmith would be there. learned after I waited 40 mins that not only they did not have the item, but the gunsmith left for lunch/ errands shortly after I got called with no idea when he would return.You would think that with todays advanced technology (cellphones) they would have at least called him to ask when he would return.....but no! they could have cared less.
