Great small engine repair shop. I got the wrong blades five months ago. I know my fault for not checking sooner. But they exchanged them no problem.

Would not recommend. Went there on two different occasions to get blades sharpen. First time so many people WAITING I thought forget it. Went eight - nine days later and three workers BULLSHITING with one customer for OVER 6 minutes. Walked out without them even acknowledging me. Screw this place.

Took my riding mower there last summer; they had a huge waitlist but offer a more expensive rate to have someone on the weekend work on your mower, called quick service. Took them twice as long as quoted; I pickup the mower and it runs but is not cutting grass and the brand new belt is starting to smell. Eventually the mower throws the belt off; I take it back and they put the belt back on and I ask them to ride it and make sure it stays on but the gentlemen assures me it is fine. Back home and it throws the belt off again. So I call and they are closing but a guy there says he will be outback and to bring it in, same person. He puts the belt back and I say you have to ride it this time. He rides it and sees it is not cutting grass, turns out he had been running the belt in a way that made the blades spin backwards, and it throws it off again. Eventually he is just using a crow bar to bend things until it stays on, I am sure there is damage. He gets it working and sends me home. The deck literally falls off while I am using it, which is what I took it in there for originally, to reattach the deck and replace the belt. I no longer had access to a trailer at this point and they agree to pick it up a few days later. No show no call. I keep calling and start getting the you have to talk to the owner/manager and he does not call me back. For 2 weeks I call in ever other day asking when I will be getting reached out to and nothing. They charged me for the quick service charge twice, and never fixed the root issue and now parts are missing from my mower and they bent things when rushing to get an improper installation completed. No customer service what so ever.

Highly disappointed and would not return to this business. Took my brand new mower in because it was locked up. Kings said I was running it without oil and was not covered under factory warranty. A new engine was $500-700. I paid $85 for diagnostics but Kings couldnt tell me what was wrong other than i need a new engine so i paid $85 for nothing. I took it to another shop to get a second opinion and im glad i did. The second shop actually took the engine apart and figured out the problem for only $35. Turns out It was not my fault, there was oil in it, AND the reason for the engine being locked up was completely different than what Kings told me. I ended up getting a new engine for free under warranty. The owner was also cussing at me when i was trying to ask questions saying you better fing listen would not recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped in to get three large lawn mower blades sharpened they got right on it without hesitation didnt take very long excellent quality great great very much appreciated . They also have an amazing selection of about any kind of mower you could want. Plus so much more

Love this place. Not all about getting deep.in customers wallets, more about helping neighbors at reasonable prices. Many helpful hints and educating on self repair jobs. Courteous and efficient. Definately would sent all here

If you use your credit card they charge me a 4 percent more for using my card So I had to pay almost 20 dollars for using my card. I want be back unless my riding mower mess up before my 30 days warranty run out

They are always willing to answer my questions. They gave me advice to help me fix my own trimmer. When they didnt have part I needed they gave me alternative locations that might have it right away. They are very friendly and are good at what they do. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was their 4 to 6 week lead time to get a mower worked on.

I personally think this is a very good place to take your equipment to be worked on I feel like they do good quality work and they will go out of their way to make things right.

Ever since I discovered them a few years ago, I keep going back. Kings consistently provides quality service, tune-ups, repairs, and parts. Im also very happy with the two mower trade-ups Ive done. I do a lot of mowing, and Kings is definitely the place for anything lawnmower.

Took my lawn mower in this past Monday. Called today (Saturday, 5 days later) to see when it might be ready. Was told 4 to 5 weeks.I said, Youve got to be kidding!I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN. WAY OVER CHARGED. Said if I pay an extra $40 the work would be done in 3 to 4 days, 2 weeks later Im here getting it back. Rebuilt carb they said didnt work so they had to replace it and charged me for both a rebuild, I needed the key switch replaced and as you will see on the receipt they charged me for it but when I remove the key both the key and the switch are rusty. so fine Im tired of not having my lawnmower so I pay them get the receipt to sign and the total is not $480 that I was told NO there is a tiny sing at the base of the cash register that mentions credit card fee....... IT WAS $19 FOR USING MY CARD. so I left paying $499. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

This business will stop at nothing to accept that they have screwed up and broke your machine that you take to them. I have picture proof that they not only are accusing me that Im a liar and trying to get something for free so they wont have to agree that they broke my motor while trying to get the impeller off. Do not trust these people

Dropped off 2 weedeaters back in April. We called to find out status after 4 to 6 weeks. They replied that they should be ready the next day. Several weeks later we stopped by to once again to check on them. They had not started looking at them. Today we called and was informed that the parts were in St. Louis and on their way. By the time we got there 2 hours later the parts had miraculously appeared. They told us that now we had to pay for everything in order to get our weedeaters back. I said no just give them to us unrepaired, as we did not authorize them to order parts. While we were standing there they ran back put the part on and said it was now fixed and if we wanted our weedeaters we were going to have to pay an additional $70.00. Total $71.39 plus $25.00 deposit all without our approval. DONT RECOMMEND--- THEY ARE RIP OFFS.The weedeaters we picked up ate still leaking gas. After $71.00. THEY ARE NOT FIXED................... THIS IS WRONG.DO NOT RECOMMEND................

Very rude worker. Zero customer service. This shop is not up with the times and process of handling warrenty work with new mowers as well. I would recommend finding a different shop for your equipment.

Took my lawnmower twice to this place get it fix, both time did not fix my mower and was very expensive. Will not come here again terrible service.

The absolute worst! Do not i repeat do not bring your mower here. Brought my rideing lawn mower there for two tires. They had it for 3 weeks and still didnt fix it. Will never come here again!

Fred King and his staff were very nice and professional. He picked up my lawn tractor on Monday and had it back to me today. I had a starter that was defective and he fixed it. I will definitely use his services again if necessary. I would highly recommend this business!!!!

I have used Kings off and on since they opened their doors. I have never had any problems. Fred is very honest and trustworthy. All the guys that work there are all very friendly and willing to help and explain everything. I would highly recommend this place.

Took them 2 months to service my lawnmower. Kept calling them weekly for a price. They kept saying oh we dont have the part in nor do we have a price. When my lawnmower was handed back to me it didnt work I was charged over $500. The mower only needed one part. They added on an oil change and more with out consulting you. Horrible service and scammers. I now see why there reviews are horrible

I am unable to recommend this place unfortunately. I took in a mower for a 100.00 dollar repair and a few days later I receive a call telling me the bill was over 300.00 dollars. When I asked Fred how this happened, he told me the mower needed a lot of work. I asked him who authorized these repairs and he advised me that he had been too busy to call me for authorization. Very shady if you ask me..I asked him what they did to the mower, he stated that the gas looked like Windex and they needed to rebuild the carburetor. I find this ironic since it ran perfectly fine when I took it in, I only asked them to replace the self-propel mechanism since it was broke. He said the blade was bent and they needed to straighten it.. I also find that Ironic since it was not bent when I took it in since I just mowed with it. Lastly, he advised me that I was missing the air filter and cover. At this point I then said, “Fred, I really think you are looking up the wrong ticket, my mower was not missing the air filter and cover which he stated, No, I am looking at the right one.I call fowl,, this is not at all what was wrong with my mower. I am not sure why you apparently think I have the intelligence of a fool.

Just like the review written below me by a customer named (Ralph). I experienced the same exact problem. I took them a push mower that wasnt starting up. I was TOLD it would take 2 weeks to fix and cost $60 dollars. It took 6 weeks.(no phone call as well) I had to call and check for myself. When I received my mower they OVERCHARGED me. BILL WAS $123.49 . I asked why is it so much? Main guy in front told me they had to replaced alternator. (WHICH AGAIN I WASNT NOTIFIED OR TOLD I WAS BEING CHARGED MORE THEN I AGREED ON) I asked Dont you guys call customers to be on the same page with them? The coworker replied, All we do is fix them.I work retail as well and communication is NUMBER #1 source to keep people happy and coming back. Well how about a little customer service to go along with the fixing. I WILL NOT BE BACK. I GAVE 2 STARS BC HE DID FIX MY MOWER BUT I PAID MORE THEN WE AGREED. Good luck if you decide to go there.

I have taken my lawn mower, chain saw, weed trimmer, and lawn vacuum to Kings for years and always had very positive experiences. Ive also purchased used equipment from them that worked like new. Fred and Eric have always done right by me. I can trust that they wont rip me off and they always provide top notch service and live up to their commitments.

I gave them 2 chances. first was a push mower with a carburetor issue. they put in new spark plugs new blades and the total bill was 100$ second time was a rider with belt issues. they told me they would be done in two weeks. 5 weeks later my mower still isnt fixed and theyve added again extra things i didnt ask them to fix. new blades etc... i cant imagine what the bill will be this time. dont trust them to fix it on time or in budget. they seem not care and have plenty of excuses

Dont go here wast of time and money. Im guessing unless youre one of the good old boys for example bought a lawn mower 2 years ago ran for a year great then took it up there to get tuned up and everything for the upcoming summer paid $500 I ran once never ran again now I just take my weed eater up there nobody there one guy says wait for this guy this guy picks up the phone and call somebody then another customer comes in and he goes out and working with him blah blah blah I guess Im not good enough to be helped there so save your money go somewhere else I know theres another repair place on Chrisler much better than Kings just a waste of time waste of money go somewhere else to from the start short adult lot other people you can pay money to the do nothing for your small engine equipment

I have Used Kings for repairs on several pieces of equipment I own. I had a Older Snowblower that the Gas Tank was bad/leaking Fred tried several different ways to fix it but couldnt so I just figured no biggie it was old and so i told Fred to use it as Parts, six months later I receive a call from Fred that my snowblower is ready for pickup and said he had found a tank and instead of parting it out he fixed it, tuned it up for me and didnt charge me a dime.I highly recommend Kings Small Engine Repair for all your Small Engine Needs!

Eric was very professional, polite, and offered lots of info regarding lawn mowers. Only thing that kept me from buying from them was the fact they do not offer ANY warranty on their equipment.

Had my mower for 5 weeks, waaay over priced.

They were the warranty repair station for my Massimo UTV that I purchased at Tractor Supply. As delivered, it had an issue with the headlights shorting out and blowing the fuse. The guys at Kings tracked it down and repaired it quickly and effectively.

They did a great job tuning up my mower.

They were able to find my parts and ordered them to be in the next day. They were polite and efficient.

I had my car for a diagnosis. Without getting my approval they charge me $405! After they told me the cost of the repair, I didnt accept them to fix and asked my lawn mower back. They charged me 405 to assemble of the parts they moved apart without my approval. So unfair so disgusting! Please dont go to this place.

Had tiller for a month said it would be 2weeks before they could look at it and after a month of having it it was never looked at . If you have to wait that long then maybe they should tell other customers that there booked solid. We put a 25 dollar deposit down but did get it back and they was sorry.

Paid this guy $2,000 to fix a lot of stuff on a mower I bought and when I got it back everything was installed wrong and the mower made it 50 feet before it broke down. He stopped answering my calls. Ended up having to take it to a real dealer. They don’t know how to do anything over there.

**BEWARE**Day 1-dropped off mower to replace a pulley for $305Day 22-new pulley, air filter, fuel filter, plug, oil, oil filter, aired tires, greased, cleaned under deck, blades sharpened COST $505.No phone call, no authorization to do additional work. When a complaint was made while paying the bill, the manager took the key from the mower and kept it. Yes, he still has the key. Yes, we have another key.

Absolute thieves!!! They willl lie and lie about the time table for fixing your mower and then ransom your equipment that they have not fixed for hundreds of dollars.Go anywhere else.

Spent over $2000 on minor repairs and diagnostics, within a hour of getting the mower back I found loose bolts and had parts fall off. Ended up going to lawn and leisure and having them fix several things kings billed me for.
