This is the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. Communication is very poor at best. My guess is a lack of good management. I will be contacting my health provider and recommending they not renew any contract with this company. The reviews are right. Very poorly run.

This is the worst place ever. Impossible to get an itemized bill, The correct equipment and its very frustrating. The office doesn’t know anything about the resupply company. I’ve been waiting on 2 receipts since April 2021

I really hate to leave a bad review but they have earned it 100%. Ive been dealing with them for 3 years and its time to go elsewhere. They never return a call and never follow up. They even have a spot in their phone system that asks you to leave a message and they will call back. Ive done this on multiple occasions with no return call. I changed insurance companies a few months back and spoke to a gal that took all of my info and then said she would get the supplies out to me but that never happened. Sorry Medical West....you guys are poorly run.

VERY POOR management and customer service. I would not use this company except for the fact that they are the company contracted for Medicare. I have no choice if I want Medicare to pay for my equipment. Dropped my cpap machine off to them on April 19th for them to send into ResMed for diagnostics and repair under warranty. I called on May 25th for an update on my machine. They said its still sitting in their office waiting for paperwork from ResMed so they can send it in. All I get are excuses and run around from them. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Never had these issues with Apria but had to switch because of the Medicare contract.

May be the worst company I have ever had to deal with-rude, no follow through, takes multiple calls and not one apology. Changing companies and weeks have gone by with me calling just trying to get their consent form emailed to me. The manager(s) should be retrained or terminated.

This company started out good in 2014 when I first started receiving supplies. John was very knowledgeable and I always received supplies when promised. Lately, I call several times, they send the wrong supplies, they promise delivery on a particular day and no one shows up nor do I get a call telling me no one is coming. After 3 request, they came so late one night they hung equipment on my door because they did not call to let me know they were on the way. Their customer service is terrible. They lost a great asset when John retired. He was very customer oriented.

Negative 1 star. Absolutely the worst customer service, the number on my bill to ask questions only gives you an option to pay over the phone, or enter an extension. I have a bill and need to switch my insurance information. Have spent 2+hours on hold from the billing department and they still hadnt answered. They are such a bad company that I can not even give them my insurance so they can get paid. They clearly do not want to talk to people on the phone. I am finished trying to contact them to switch the info they can track me down when it is convenient for me I am done wasting my time on them.

I will never ever recommend this company. I waited all day from 8:30am until 5pm for them to show up & even called them twice to see if they could give me a time frame and the company didnt have the decency to call, text or email that they wouldnt be coming!

They started off ok but then they stopped sending supplies. So I called and they said theyd send what I needed. Time went by and nothing happened. I went into the store they said they had to run my insurance (again) and would call the next day. They did not call. So I called them back and was told that the only record they had of me was that initial call I made two months ago. They are the WORST! Dont go there.

John, the technician for Medical West, is outstanding. Prompt, professional, and ensures all the home oxygen equipment is in tip top condition. He replaces filters and tubing to ensure the equipment is in optimal working order and answers our questions.My husband depends on his oxygen and because of John we can rest easy that he will always have home oxygen that works. This place is a joke. My wife has been trying to get supplies for her CPAP since September. Due to them not doing their job, they keep giving my wife the run around saying they need different info. Instead of them doing it, they wait and expect the patient to call and do their work for them. 8 months later and still no supplies..but guess what, now they need something else. They are a giant cluster. Do not use them.

After a phone call Which was promptly answered. I spoke with a nice young lady who placed me on hold while she checked on the item I needed. She came back promptly and told me she had what I needed and I could pick it up at the front desk. Thanks for the great experience.

If I could rate this place no stars I would but 1 was the lowest I could give. I am a new patient and just started getting equipment from this office in the past 6 months. I got one replacement for my sleep equipment and nothing else. I’ve been calling for 3 months and have spoke with supervisor after supervisor, still nothing. Then they blamed it on my insurance which is a lie. Nothing has changed with my insurance and my doctor even sent a new script request over for a new order. It’s absolutely ridiculous how they are dealing with equipment to keep people well and safe, yet are so unorganized with medical equipment. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere! This place is a nightmare!

5 yr contract with MEDICARE. Their portable 2 small oxygen bottles you refill that last 3-7 hours will not let you go very far and you cant transport the basic fulltime machine and portable bottle refills due to requirements and weight. Companies have portable and home equipment that run off of electricity or cigarette lighter plug/DC plug in. I believe Medical West has one portable bottle available that you refill on electricity or through cigarette/DC plug but they will not let you turn-in the old style that refill is restricted at home station for the new portable one that you can take on longer trips and refill away from home. Said the 5 year contract has to be fulfilled before you can make a change or terminate your contract. I have already contacted another company that I will change to.

This company is the absolute worst to do business with. They take weeks to respond to doctors orders, never answer the phone or return calls, and their supplies are astronomically priced. There are also always items missing from my orders which they will never replace. They even billed the wrong insurance company once, and when the insurance obviously refused to pay, they charged me the entire overpriced charges! (I finally figured out on my own what they had done and tried to correct it, but 10 months later they are still trying to overcharge me for the order.) All of this has just gotten worse after they were bought out by Lincare. The competition isnt much better in my experience, but I would go with them if you have a choice!

Please believe these negative reviews. They are true! I was lied to about how much a mask would cost with no insurance. Paid what i was quoted. They decided to charge my insurance anyway even though we both knew my insurance wouldnt pay at that time. Then they decided to charge me a different price than what I was quoted and paid. A few months later they sent me a mask and replacement parts that I did not want build my insurance and charge me the difference. I have been fighting these two charges for over 6 months now. They acted like they wanted to help but no one has helped me! these charges are still on my account and they need to be removed. I am now being threatened to be turned over to collections because I wont pay these false charges. ( by the way in 6 months Ive only received one bill from them, a bill I refuse to pay because of the false charges that are on there!) I am tired of trying to talk with these people and explain my story over and over and OVER again. Its as simple as this: remove the charges that I should never have been charged. I have explained multiple times in multiple emails and I have proof in my emails. Buyer beware! Youd be safer to order online with a different company then to EVER use this place or trust these people.

Med West is a nightmare, Ive gotten used to them screwing up my order. Asked my doctor if there is a better company to order from. He said no they are all bad, Med West is the best of the bad. I need to reorder but they still have my bill screwed up. They sent it to me instead of the insurance company. Called them and left messages several time they never return, finally get a hold of billing and they send it to my insurance company and get paid. However, they keep billing me even though its paid and threatening to sent bill to collection agency. My wife conference calls Mid West with our insurance company and they confirmed it was paid and gives them all the details. Finally over I can reorder my low stock of supplies but no they continue to bill us with threats. If your doctor uses Med West get a different doctor.

I have used Medical West for over 5 years with no problems until they were bought out by Lincare 12-18 months ago. Since then every time I have needed to order CPAP supplies I have run into issues. It never gets done with one call. Last week I called on Monday to order supplies and after first calling the 1-888 number and waiting on hold for a long time and told them what I needed I was told to call the Independence, MO office. They gave me the number which was transferred to the St. Louis branch. After waiting on hold for a long time again I told them what I needed and they said that since my prescription expired (which is what happened about 6 months ago) that I needed to talk to the Independence, MO office. They transferred me there. After waiting a long time on hold again told them what I needed and they said that I needed to call Dr. Peterson to have a new script sent in. I have no idea who Dr. Peterson is and I was told that was my Dr. I corrected that and gave them the name of the Dr. that has been my Dr. for 15 years. They were going to fax my Dr. the form. I called Medical West on Thursday to see how my order was coming and they said that they had sent the request to my Dr. 8 times and got no response but they were going to do it again. I called my Dr. on Friday and it arrived at their office Friday morning and they were sending it back that same day. I called Medical West the next Tuesday to see how my order was coming and they said that they did not get the faxed script. I gave up on Medical West. Tuesday morning I called another supplies and gave them the information of what I am using and who my Dr. is. The next day, Wednesday about 1:00 the new supplier called me to say that they have everything they needed and my supplies were shipping the next day, less than 36 hours from my first call. They also said that I was eligible for a new CPAP machine if I wanted one ( Medical West never made the offer). It is like night and day how the two suppliers treat their customers.

I got a CPAP machine through Medical West/Lincare. They lied to me about what the monthly charge would be, and have refused to tell me what the total cost of the machine would be. I have made numerous calls and a personal visit to try to find this out. No one would tell me. After a year of paying the bills out of pocket, because my insurance deductible would never be met, and never knowing how much each bill would be, because they were seldom the same, I ended up paying $1,260.75 for the CPAP machine. If I had known a year ago what I know now, I could have bought this same machine for half this cost online! I would stay far, far away from this company! If you need a CPAP machine, and your insurance doesnt cover it, you would be much better off getting a prescription from your doctor and then order it online. Also, you can get supplies through Amazon at a much better price and better customer service.

I am a brand new cpap user, required prior to upcoming surgery. The RT was awesome. After getting home, and attempting to set up, I realized my folder with paperwork was missing. I called the office to inquire about it, and my settings not all being active. The “Customer Service” person was extremely rude, saying EVERY customer gets a folder. It was clear she did not believe me. Why would I makeup not having a folder I need? She also asked me if I had unzipped the outside pocket (which there is none on this case). She said it in a way that implied I was stupid. I am required to use this office, by my Insurance, or I would NEVER recommend them.

If there could be a negative 10, that would be the score I would give this company. I was overcharged for medical equipment and three different people have told me that yes, I was overcharged and there is a check in the mail. No such check has arrived. When talking with a supervisor today, he said there were no notes in my file on the matter. Ridiculous. I never write negative reviews, but they are holding on to my money and not refunding it, when it is their error. I would not go with this company!

Phone system is horrible. Calls dropped. Couldnt get to the option recording. When I did and hit the corresponding number for my request the call was dropped. After 15 minutes I got someone on the phone, got a bit of a run around, placed on hold and then the call dropped. Ordered supplies 3-4 weeks ago and have not recieved any of it.......

This company has lousy customer service. Ive been trying to get through on phone for 3 days. Was kept on hold for 30 minutes. Then when I get my supplies they are wrong. How can they not see what was just previously sent. I go through this every time I get my supplies. So this has been going on for 3 years, and its sickening.

I had a CPAP through them and had issues asked many times over for a therapist to come out. I was told we will get right on that. Almost 2 years later they have never shown up. Needless to say I didnt put up with them that long but still think its sad if I depended on them I would probably be dead!

Bought CPAP through MedWest and everything went well till I started needing supplies. You call and order and wait and wait to get them. Call and they say they are waiting on insurance approval. Also, you can only order on insurance replacement time frame which I understand. But, you have to remind them to get approval to send to you. Takes about 20 days to get needed supplies. If I get another CPAP I will look for alternatives. In the meantime I will be buying supplies without insurance and getting what I want when I want within two days. Terrible service and it has gotten worse over last two years, especially the Independence side where nothing much seems to happen. Call St. Louis, they are marginally better. Although they dont respond to their website request for quotes.

I waited to post this just to make sure i wasnt being emotional... I was only there 6 months and I just NEVER went back. However this is the WORSE job I have EVER had. The management is not trained or in tune with what is going on in the office. She is very unprofessional and rude. She plays favorties with the employees in the office. The office is SO unorganized and the staff is OVER worked and UNDER paid. There is NO training and they just just expect for you to figure it out. And again management didnt gave a clue so she was NO help.. I wouldnt wish this nightmare on my worse enemy. I have had nightmares about this experience. Terrible customer service. Calls are automated, no one ever picks up. You leave a message, then two weeks later you might get a return call. You return the voice mail and start all over again. This company should have at least one person dedicated to answering their phone.

This company has the absolute worst customer service possible. Every single person I have talked to on the phone has been rude and act like it is bothering them to answer questions. I have been misinformed about my insurance twice and they still cant tell me how much or when a payment will be deducted from my account. ITS BEEN 2 MONTHS! The RT they sent to my house was the only positive thing about my experience with them. If I could switch to another company...i absolutely would switch!

If you can get your CPAP from some other company - do it. Getting this company to coordinate with my insurance for the original testing was a nightmare. The only reason it finally happened is because I had a little experience in the healthcare field, and facilitated my own clarification among this company/doctor/insurance. You have to know exactly what you need when you order supplies, or else you will get $500 worth of stuff which you may or may not need. Even then, when you specify that you need a HEATED tube, chances are you will get a NON-heated tube. This company sent me a bill, charging me for supplies after expected insurance. I paid the invoice in full. Many months later, I received a bill for quite a bit of money, claiming insurance didnt pay what we thought they would pay. Any reputable company would have written off the amount they screwed up on - but Medical West employs a robo-caller that sounds like they are about to send you to collections (on an invoice they bogusly create many months after the purchase). Calling the central office takes you to nice-enough clerical workers who can only tell you the amount you owe, and/or I can request a manager call you. I hope the incredibly frustrating hours and hours Ive spent with this company is not-the-norm. I hope everybody else has pleasant, quick, reliable service.

Always takes multiple weeks to complete supply orders. Waited over 3 weeks for CPAP supplies, finally received package today and it as a box of gauze pads...skip insurance and purchase online from elsewhere if you really need timely delivery.

Got a Cpap from them. Was told I would get an email and they would send out seals, and other renewables when needed. Didnt happen for 90 days. Stopped in and asked for an update. Was treated like a nuisance and was told I would have product would be shipped to me. 2.5 weeks later nothing has shown up and my sleep is closer to what it was before the cpap due to leaking seal and constantly trying to adjust it to seal to avoid air leaking and blowing on my eyes or leaking enough to wake me.Seems like a very simple task to send out product and make money. Maybe they need to become an amazon vender???!!!! Make it automated and actually service their customers. Can only Imagine what the markup is anyway.

Overcharge for their equipment, you can buy it on Amazon for less than a few months rent. Continue to send bills after youve paid them and refer you to your insurance company if you question anything. Avoid them.

They take forever to set you up for an appointment. I showed up and they said they had called me yesterday and told me it was at 9 am. They did not. Drove all of the way here and they made me reschedule.
