Everything you could need to land that fish is at this store. When no one has shrimp this place got it! It’s a place I will always visit for a good price and good quality. The owner is outstanding and stands behind his products. It’s a mom and pop store the kind I don’t have a problem spending my hard earned in. The owner cares about his customers and will go out of his way to prove that fact to you. Bought a great bridge hoop net for shrimp at a price that can’t be beat by local competitors. The guy working there was very helpful. Was traveling from Ga and the guy took his time to give me tips and showed me how to hook live shrimp which I had never done before. Overall loved the shop!

Occasionally i come down to the coast to fish snapper and this is the spot where i get my shrimp. Always professional and always honest. This is the type of place i will drive out of my way to give them business.

I am a regular client of this place. The service is good, however for the past couple months I have been noticing that if you make an order of 5 or more dozens of live shrimps, you never get what you paid for. At first I thought it was just my imagination but today I count them and I was right, I was short a dozen a a half. Too bad that I noticed I was short of bait once I started fishing and not while I was still at the bait shop.

As I have some special needs challenges, I go to this place to get bait on a frequent basis because of the staff. I have never met a nice gentleman then the owner and his assistant. I get treated with dignity and respect and feel I dont get judged for who I am. I love the selection of rods and reels. I waited over eight weeks to get the right rod and reel and I am very happy. This place will not steer you wrong. Thank you very much for everything.Hunter

The owner is knowledgeable, kind, generous, and patient with novices. Completely free of charge, he spooled my 10-year-old sons new Christmas gift reel, even instructing us on how to do it in the future. He advised us on what type of equipment to use in various local fishing spots. He even took the time to chat a bit with us about the impact beach restoration projects are having on local reef conditions, but never once tried to sell us anything. We picked up a couple small items more because we were appreciative of his time and expertise than because we needed them, but well definitely be back for all our future bait and tackle needs. Were lucky to have this locally owned and operated small business in our community and Ill support it whenever possible.

Amazing place! Went to get shrimp this morning. The delivery was due two hours later. Bought frozen shrimp, at the expect time of delivery Al delivered shrimp right to a dock where we were fishing. Amazing customer service. Thank you Al.

Great place to go, they have all kinds of live or frozen bait. Need tackle or a rod fixed they got you covered. They even give a veteran discount for military members. Who doesnt like saving some money. If they dont have what you want they will help you find it. The people that work there are all awesome and treat you well.

Bubbler, batteries, 3 doz shrimp.Went in last night, just before closing, the owner was working. Seems like a very good man who wants his customers happy.

They always hook it up with the good bait at Man overboard. They have plenty good selection of live and frozen bait. Every time ive gotten shrimp here they were decently sized perfect for drum. They also have frozen jack or bonito for shark or goliath fishing. They are also pretty reasonably priced.

This is now the best bait shop beachside. I know the shop has new owners and they really have turned that place around. The kids who used to work there before were always rude and not helpful in any way but I have been in there a bunch of time since the new owners and WOW they are doing a great job. It does not smell like dead shrimp in there anymore, the kids they have helping in there now can answer any question you ask and they are fast about doing so. Check it out for yourself.

The folks at the bait shop were extremely helpful and courteous, the prices were excellent and they took very good are of us. Could not be happier. Ok so i think that its fair to say that Sam Smith is obviously an ex employee or an idiot.I have been going to this bait shop ever since it opened, the previous staff was not very personable and actually they ran the guy out of business giving things away through plain lazyness.example, you go get a dozen shrimp and get five dozen for the same price because some kid is too lazy to count. thats just not good business.So about the new owners, I personally have had nothing but good experiences,when I go in I feel like they know me. there is always good conversation and good local knowledge of fishing in the area,If they dont have something I am looking for a few minutes in a catalog and its there in a few days.And as far as prices go,Dont compare this guy to walmart,the prices are fair he is a local.I would much rather pay him a little more than walmartnot all items combo rods are better quality and cheaper here and have my money go straight back in the local economy instead of some corporate money pool that goes who knows were,Another shining example, I went in today and the store was closed so they could take a vacation,The guy saw me coming and unlocked the door so I could go fishing,THATS a good owner, I cant say enough good things about this place, I never write reviews but the idiot at the top of the page just really got under my skin, just because you are to lazy to work dont talk trash about someone trying to make it.
