Response to store’s response: I understand everything you are saying and I fully understand the process. I have always been courteous regardless of how I was treated at this store and it has never been found that I chose the wrong option on Amazon. Many times this attitude was presented before the staff knew why I was there or if I selected the wrong option. Regardless of all this, they should not assume I am a rude, obnoxious customer that wants things given to them for free. We are not all like that and it’s unfortunate that people are confident enough in their judge of character to assume so.I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt before leaving a negative review. I am a huge Amazon shopper and so I use this place for returns because its very close to home. Out of the numerous times I’ve visited this store, only twice have I received good customer service. The staff appears to have a personal problem with Amazon. They obviously have a contract with them, just do your job. I’ve been told on two occasions, very rudely, that I need to start packaging my items when clearly Amazon states you do not need to do so. They are rude, don’t listen to what you’re saying, throw your stuff around, and whether or not they are busy, they are rushing you and over-talking you. Not that the staff would ever care, but I will drive however far it takes to not go back in this store.
I drop off Amazon returns here every few weeks. I’ve had no issue aside from staff very vigorously telling me to hold onto my shipping receipts with emphasis on it becoming my issue if anything is lost and I don’t have the receipt. I’ve always thought it odd considering UPS and Amazon track every move of every package under their control, but again, nothing that signals poor customer service. In my most recent trip to this store, I was told my boxes were not taped “enough.” Jay, who took the attitude of “I’m only here to help,” offered so kindly to put another piece of tape on it for me for $2.00. I know how to read the rules, and I know how to follow them. This is the first time I’ve ever been approached with a request for additional money for an Amazon return. Please don’t give this store money for a piece of tape. Find another UPS Store.
Worse explain experience at a ups ever specially at this store. The guy had such a bad attitude and in a terrible mood. Zero patience. If you work with the public no matter how your day is going you need to at least be kind.
Im not giving the store 5 stars, Im giving Zeke 5 stars. Really nice kid and super helpful.
Had a tricky drop off need. My company sent me 4 shipping labels, I only needed 1. Zeke was totally on board with me on what the issue was and how to find the best solution. Tasha was there too and charmed the pants off the 3yo I was with with. A true family experience. Good on you UPS- for curating such a good talent.
I’m giving 2 stars for the amazing customer service I have received in the past. There’s an older gentleman and lady that usually help me print off papers I need. They are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond with their kindness.Today, unfortunately was not the same. I’ve gone in and had a middle aged blonde lady (with amazing eyebrows) in the past and she just never seems happy. Today I think I completely overwhelmed her by needing images printed. She told me I needed to be more specific and I explained I thought I sized everything to the size I need and she said no and went back to the back to print the images. As the images printed we saw they were way too big and had to go behind the counter to the back to get her attention to avoid wasting products that we knew we wouldn’t use. She sighed and stormed through the store as the phone rang. Mind you I’m the only person in the store. She just sees consistently unhappy and while I know work isn’t always fun, I own a small business and I would never treat my customers this way even on a bad day or a complicated order. I ended up leaving and going elsewhere to get my stuff printed because I wasted 45 minutes.
The guy behind the counter threw my computer across the room and then proceeded to tell me that it was my fault because i did not get insurance and that if i thought that was bad i should see how UOS handles the packages
I generally believe that for the most part Google reviews are padded, faked and oftentimes fluffed up. This place, Jay in particular, deserve the low rating imo. He certainly looks the part, unfortunately though, I believe the job is to complex for him. Perhaps the place will be better served by having a more level-headed, calm person at the counter. Zeke perhaps? Also Jay, get your ringer fixed. 34 minutes and 23 seconds on hold is an inordinate amount of time to expect the customer to hold. I literally drove from Cocoa in a vehicle, walked into the store while still on hold. Nobodys perfect Jay, own up to your mistakes and move on. Deflecting your poor customer service on the UPS equipment and phone system is unbecoming. Getting fired from any job would look bad on your resume, whether you think you are right or wrong.
When I arrived, there was a very long line. However, they are fast and friendly. The know what theyre doing and do it with a smile on their face. Very happy having this one closer to home.
They provide services like notary, but only certain days of the week.... and good luck calling to see if its that day of the week, so waste 20 minutes of driving to find out multiple times. Never again. Oh, and they charge rediculous fees ($7) for things like holding a package because the company I bought something from wasnt intelligent enough to use a better shipping company. (I wasnt home during delivery times(
Store explained that the Amazon instructions were wrong even after they read them. They insisted the item must be packaged and they could do it for a fee. They wanted a dollar to post another item and said the usps charges them for Mail pickup. They told the lady next to me in line that she could email them a label to print for $2.95. Each of these extra charges are exorbitant and ridiculous. I was remarkably displeased at the lack of service and price-gouging.
I have never been to a UPS store before that made my day that much easier & left that much happier!!! This is all thanks to Ben, the best employee ever!! Hes incredibly helpful, very nice, & excellent customer service. Give this man a raise!!!
You know, every time I’ve gone to this place they’ve been really nice and taken care of me, I really like this UPS location
This UPS store is always helpful, friendly and quick in their response. Today, I came in with a large box I was sending for a return. I was having difficulty picking up the edge of the tape and taping the edges of my package due to my disability. The store employee offered to complete the taping for me. I am very appreciative for her act of kindness and customer service.
Dom was professional & patient with me & my Amazon return. Thank you!
In out in seconds. No masks! Yahoo. Thank you Zeke! ❤️
Amazon states, “The UPS Store accepts package-free and label-free returns using a QR code sent to your mobile device. You do not need to package your return or print out a label. Simply present the QR code to the associate and they will do the rest.”Welp, not at this store. Associate at the store says she doesn’t work for Amazon and will not help me.
I wish I would have read the reviews before I used this UPS Store. Never have I ever read a review where the owner constantly blamed the customers or always had an excuse for what the UPS Store did wrong.I have used UPS Store in many other states, and everything was perfect - never had a problem or a major issue. I travel a lot for work, and other locations would send my mail and packages to me for a fee when I requested it - also - I was given a code to access my mailbox at any time, even if the store was closed. When I called this UPS Store to see if the same options were available. I was told yes over the phone - but when I opened the account I was told it was not an option unless I purchased a FOB for an extra $125. I was quoted 1 price, but the total came out to be $50+ more than the original price quoted - stating it was other fees. When I was ready to close the mailbox, I submitted a change of address, and United Postal Service stated because I used that location, they (the UPS Store) had to submit a change address. I informed the UPS Store, and I was told I had to pay a fee to change my address. I stated that I had used other UPS stores throughout the United States, and they NEVER charged for change of address.... It wasnt about the money - it was the principle.. Truly - using this UPS Store has been a big nightmare.. All you have to do is review the rude comments submitted by the owner. A true business owner would be apologetic and try to make it right - but not this one... Good luck to anyone using this location. Im just waiting to see what rude remark the owner will give for speaking this truth. Im sure he will come up with something. Stay tuned.
Super nice people. Franchise store not a corporate store. Give them your money. The corporations have enough already.
Amazon states, “The UPS Store accepts package-free and label-free returns using a QR code sent to your mobile device. You do not need to package your return or print out a label. Simply present the QR code to the associate and they will do the rest.” The manager at this store says she does not work for Amazon and will not use this process for Amazon returns. She is blatantly reneging the partnership between Amazon and UPS.
Im an eBay seller and the UPS store is only about a mile away so I visit regularly.First, they are fast and efficient. Rarely have I had to wait long, never an unreasonable time.Garrett, who was called out by name in an earlier review, is always pleasant, helpful, and has helped me out a couple of times with technical difficulties so he is obviously better trained now. He has a great attitude and thats really what counts the most.Good place, happy they are there! Following hurricane Irma when USPS branches were still closed they were especially helpful.
Went to drop off an Amazon return here and there was two people in line ahead of me, then four came in behind. The guy at the counter announced that anyone NOT Amazon could jump the line and get taken care of first. Sounds kinda rude...I wonder if this is official UPS Store policy. When it was my turn, I handed him my Amazon return, he scanned the code displayed on my phone, printed a label, tossed the item in a bag and used the label to close it. Took less than a minute, so not sure why Amazon shippers are considered second-class citizens at this store.
Dont go to return an Amazon package there unless you have your own tape or want to pay $2.00 for a piece of tape. First time I have been to a UPS store and had this problem, owners policy to charge for the tape, not UPS.Based on the response from the owner, I see my complaint fell on death ears. Its called building a strong customer base to get repeate business. If tape is going to break the bank I dont know what else to say. Good customer service gets repeate business from me. Lacking there of, will not. No other UPS store or pack and ships have ever charged me for a piece of tape or tried to nickel and dime me. A box, envelope, etc... no problem charge away. To charge $2 for 10 inches of tape, nope. Wont be back, you lost a new customer. Starting reading other complaints and they all have the same type of response from owner. Good luck UPS owner.
Kim was extremely helpful (and patient) packing and mailing a large package overseas.
I was in a hurry. And actually snapped a load on the floor while waiting in line. The employee told me to load snap at will. So I snapped again. Just sayin.
I love this store! I go out of my way to come to this store for Dale, he is so awesome! He always engages with me and asks how my day is going. The store is clean and the staff is always friendly.
Just left the store after seeing the worst customer experience I can remember in a long time. The blonde lady (not Sarah) working behind the counter gave everyone who walked in an attitude. Got there just before the store closed and as they locked the door a couple minutes before 3PM people walked up and tried to open the door. Her response was 3PM, sorry, go away. She then proceeded to say I cant wait for amazon to open their own store because I cant handle you all and your returns. I had four large packages and she was trying to talk me out of shipping them to California saying it was going to cost me a thousand bucks (grossly overstating the cost so she wouldnt have to process the packages). After saying I had enough, I asked for her name and she refused to give it to me. Another patron who she was reluctant to let in after they locked the doors witnessed it as well.
Got here about 15 minutes before the place opened but Misty the store employee was also early and let me come in and return my package before the store was even open. She was quick and professional and I was not late to work thanks to her. I know where Im going next time I need a shipping Outlet.
This store has horrible customer service. Both the manager and employees are very rude. They also like to make packages disappear.
Great experience. Friendly staff.
Don’t go here, got to front door and employee was out smoking a cigarette. Said were are not able to help you with amazon stuff. I asked when it would be up and he said not sure don’t really care. Then I asked for a number to call to check in for when the system would be up again and he said I won’t answer so don’t bother. What a horrible example of a professional haha
I went in there and got amazing service on September 7. Thank you for making my experience so pleasant.
Plan on being nickeled and dimed for every cent.
Avoid this place at all costs. I’ve had multiple occasions where employees were argumentative and sarcastic. They’ll tell you one thing over the phone and something else when you get there. Also, over the phone I was never actually put on hold and heard all of the personal information of the customer in the store. Direct TV system is evidently still a problem or they just don’t want to do their jobs. One person tells me it can’t be done on the weekend and another says 830-12 Monday - Friday. For those of us with jobs this is a hard schedule to meet. You are supposed to be customer service. I’m not here to accommodate you. You should be able to do perform any service that you advertise during your business hours. Had this been my only issue with this store, I’d withhold a review like this. However, it seems to be the norm. I’m really puzzled as to how this place is still in operation.
Front desk staff needs work to work on customer service. I was spoken to like I was a child when I asked a simple question. I am shipping elsewhere.
Super easy and friendly service. I was in and out with my amazon return this morning.
Rude, horrible and Anti-helpful Go somewhere else.
I used to have wine delivered here because I have, you know, a job and cannot be home to sign for it. They used to charge $5 for a delivery hold. The owner then jacked the price to $10 and last I checked 2 weeks ago he raised it to $10 PER day the package is here. Ill gladly drive to Palm Bay to pick it up just to keep money out of the hands of this greedy price gouging business.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...PRICE GOUGING!!!I mailed a package from this store which ended up back on my doorstep two weeks later! The young man that prepared my package did not check the box to ensure there were no old labels as he is required to do. As it turned out this package made it all the way to its destination scan and should have them been placed on a truck for delivery. Instead it ended up back with me two weeks after it was sent. The young man working in the store the day I went back with the package, which happened to by the same employee that helped me the day I mailed it, wanted to help me. However, the store manager he contacted was of no help to authorize an override to reship the package free of charge and recommended calling the owner. The owner didnt bother to answer his phone or call back in a timely manner. The cost to send that 4 pound package to Nashville came up at a cost of $40...$20 if I came back with it on Monday! Initially I paid about $12. I ended up taking my package to the post office and paid $13 for a flat rate box...the package arrived two days later to my daughter. I will NEVER walk in this UPS Store again!THIS STORE CHARGES DOUBLE TO SHIP ON SATURDAY!
Were in middle of a pandemic and employees are not even wearing masks. Lots of at-risk people use this location. Talk about not caring about your customers.
Berated my wife for an amazon return and called her “entitled”Very odd considering that there job is to ship packages. Stay away from this place and there disgruntled owner.
This happened in 1 day.(early morning) 1st trip, Told me they will not be accepting Amazon PREPAID return boxes and I would have to go to KOHLs(early afternoon) 2nd trip, Refused to take my PREPAID USPS flat rate padded envelopes (2), saying if it doesnt fit the envelope slot they dont take it.called corporate office and they are investigating
I went to the ups store to drop off a amazon package, ask if they had piece tape for the package, they wanted me to buy a new roll of tape. i do a lot of shipping online and i just forgot to tape the box. well i guess i be continuing using usps, well the store a lot closer to me but i be glad to drive the extra mile for a store to provide me a single piece of tape.
I went to drop off a package and the service was fantastic. I was in and out in 3 minutes!
Wish I could do negative stars. This place sucks.
Sitting here waiting for over 45 mins because Garrett cant do his job correctly. Jus sayin.
Was told UPS had notary service. I was shocked to learn that they charge $10 per notarized item, since I had more than 10 items to be notarized I left to find another source. This price is outrageous and Ill not be using any of their services in the future. BTW, many Brevard County libraries have notaries and charge $1.50 no matter how many items are to be notarized.
The UPS Store in Indian Harbour Beach has always provided me with excellent service!
Was charged $75 for a $55 roll of stamps, I think thats a pretty big mark up.
Fast friendly
Was mislead on how much the cheapest option was between UPS and USPS. Was told I couldnt have gotten cheaper shipping prices when I know now I 100% could have. The item was over packed to charge more as well. If you need something packed or shipped go to Atlantic Pack & Parcel!
Went on Monday to drop off a boxed modem for Directv - the system is down, cant do any packages. Go back Friday at 11:30- cant do it til 12:30. Will never see a penny on my business at this location!
Closed at 1:30 on a Saturday, sign says open until 3 PM.
Drop off is great and convenient
These are not good people or place. I would not want to go here
