I’ve used this Goodyear location several times now and I honestly believe that they are some of the most informative, professional people I’ve ever had work on my car. This last time around Jordan was a pleasure to work with. Even though my job was a small one, he still took the time to prioritize me and ensure that the work was done correctly. Also, a lot has to be said about the job Sam is doing as the manager over there. The place is always in tip top shape and he always comes out to say hello or give me some details about what I can do to make my tires or car perform better. No one has ever been pushy about upselling unnecessary products or recommending unnecessary work. They are always just factual, straight to the point and ultimately leave decisions to me. They will continue to get my business and high praises. Thank you to that team.

Amazing customer service! Got a screw in my tire & was worried they wouldn’t be able to fix it bc it was close to the edge…turns out it was a very short screw so they patched it up for me! Got there after work & they stayed after hours just to get me on the road! Great people & awesome customer service!! Highly recommend!

The guys at Goodyear auto service located at 6411 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079 helped us out in a way that I am truly grateful!! I came in to balance my tires and when I left the car was not driving right, I called Goodyear and spoke to Sam. Sam advised me to bring the car back so they can diagnose the car. Richard was assigned to my car and was able to diagnose that my tires were separating from the inside, and advised us to changed the tires, this news came as a surprise to me. Richard was able to answer all my questions and at the end was able to help me acquire great tires at a reasonable price. I highly recommend anyone that is having any tire issues to go see Richard and Sam at Goodyear. I won’t be taking any of my cars any where else.

I’ve visited this location twice now and each time was a great experience. Jordan and Sam are both polite and most of all HONEST!!! By far the best customer service I have ever experienced! Made an appointment for 10am. Called the day before and tried to get worked in earlier and they tried there very best to accommodate this. Came in early and it was very busy, but it moved so quickly. Very knowledgeable staff and Sam was very welcoming. He took car of our vehicle and with the best attitude. So appreciative of this place. I learned today that an appointment for 11:30 am is not really an appointment its actually a 2 hour time period (11:30 - 1pm), sort of like the one the cable installer gives you. So when you book an appointment for a simple oil change, Sam (manager) is going to let you know that its actually a 2 hour window and NOT an appointment (wont find that on your confirmation or when booking), and if you wait you might be there for 2 hours...or you can do what I did and drive to Valvoline (practically next door) and never leave your car and be done in 25 min.

Sam Harper has always gone above and beyond for me. Taking care of my vehicle with oil changes and the best tires I could ever have asked for.. he knows his stuff. I have followed him wherever he goes because he is that good. I will continue to give him all my business. I highly recommend Good Year.

I love coming to get my car Service. Where I don’t have to worry if I’m being over charge. As a woman you don’t know to much about cars. So going somewhere to get a repair is a big thing. Sam is the beat at telling you what you need and how long you have to get it done Without you feeling small. He’s the best. Great team player and role model.

Super great experience at this store. I originally had my car towed to a Firestone where they told me it was going to be up to $5000 to fix my car. I decided to tow it to this Goodyear store for a second opinion. Goodyear fixed my car for a fraction of the price Firestone was offering, and they did it in a timely manner. As a young woman who doesn’t know too much about cars, I felt that I was treated fairly, and the whole process was transparent. I will be returning to this store for my future car needs!

This place is great! I usually go to the dealer to have all my service work done including something as simple as a state inspection. I had a little bit of time on a Sat. morning so I decided to give this place a try.I was greeted immediately as I walked through the door by an enthusiastic gentleman who promptly took care of my needs. There were quite a few people in the waiting area and standing outside but the inspection only took 30 minutes. I looked in the tech area as there was a glass window so you can see the guys work on your vehicle. All the guys were well dressed (in matching uniforms) and were also very enthusiastic and professional. They looked like a well oiled machine as they were obviously tending to several cars at once. When they were finished my truck was parked out front and I was prompted to pay for the inspection.I will definitely take my vehicle to this Goodyear store for future service needs.

Had an appointment for a state inspection. I was a bit worried when I arrived as the parking lot was packed. I had some important appointments that day so I let them know when I checked in that I was on a tight schedule. They took me right back and went to work. I was in and out under 45 mins. The manager was professional and courteous. I LOVE it when a company recognizes that your time is important (thus the APPOINTMENT). Will definitely be back when I need tires. Bravo!!

I had known the manager Sam from the Ballantyne location, and have always appreciated his positive attitude and ability to go above and beyond to make sure you are informed and receiving the best care for your vehicle. Most recently, there was an issue when I ordered tires from GoodYear online, they had not shown up on time for my appointment. When this happened Sam exceeded my expectations and upgraded my tires, matching the price I paid online, thus saving me hundreds of dollars. His customer service is incredible. I will be using this location moving forward - and highly recommend their trustworthy services.

After placing an appointment and waiting a whole day the shop refused to work on my car because of my “low profile tires” I have been here before in the past and it didn’t seem to be an issue. So before any of you make an appointment make sure to have them come outside and check your car to make sure your car is eligible to be worked on. Thanks for wasting my time.

Richard and the others with him tonight at this tire center were great. We had a tire that we ran over something with and it was losing air rapidly right before closing time. They checked out the tire and while it could not be repaired they put the spare on for us and gave us a quote for a full set that we are considering. While the other 3 tires a have some life left we will most likely get a full set early from them because of their fantastic attitude and professionalism. Thanks guys!!!

When you go get your car fix they steal things out of your car

Horrible techs- my wife had a tire replaced a few weeks back. That tire ended up with a hole in the inner tire wall, Ok, that can happen. However, when we removed the wheel to put on the spare tire, found that two of the lug studs were wrecked (what the lug nuts are attached to). This only happens by over-tightening, typically by using an impact driver when tightening after replacing a tire. I also work in the automotive industry so am not unfamiliar with standard or advanced auto repair.Take your vehicle to a shop that knows what they’re doing and save yourself the headache and expense of paying for things these guys break. My wife and anyone I know will be avoiding this place.

Service Manager Richard is great; very knowledgeable and open about what you car needs are.Team provided fast service resolving my AC issues right away. They even called me half way through to speak about the found issues, and my available options. No pushy sales tactics at all.Over all...highly recommend. Ill keep coming back for sure. :-)

They scratch and bent my rim and then act like they didnt do it. Ironically a tire place cant put on a tire without damaging rims.

These guys are the best. I either have a repairable or non-repairable flat tire every month and they fix them for free if they can and if not they hook me up with a new tire. Very nice crew

I came here after getting a flat tire on the weekend. Even though they werent able to service my flat due to shaved treadwear, the technician was very helpful and empathetic of my situation. He gave me the best chance of getting home safely so that I could get service by the shop that sold me the tires on Monday.

If you like going to a place that rips you off with something you don’t need then go here, I went to get my car inspected and to get my power steering fixed and they told me that I needed new rack and pinions along with an alignment, new tire, and that they would charge me with cleaning up the mess they made which would’ve been $100. Soo I went to my local mechanic which is road master and all was needed was power steering fluid.

Well they did fix my car which was helpful but it took a little longer than I hoped. Either way I am thankful for the job they did!

Two other places (including the dealer) said I had a screw too close to the sidewall and tire had to be replaced. Goodyear looked at the tire and determined the screw never punctured the tire, removed the screw, tested the hole and all was fine. Tested the rest of the tire and found the actual hole and repaired it without having to replace the tire. Great first time experience, clean shop and waiting room, friendly service manager. I recommend Goodyear in Indian Trail for tire service.

I was “lucky” enough to need new tires for 2 cars and found myself here as it’s a convenient location for me. They had the tires I wanted in stock for both cars, so no delays with waiting for delivery. The team got me in and out quickly both times and I had them inspect both cars and do one oil change. I will definitely be back for ongoing services.

Attempt to get an appointment explaining you have tires just need them placed upon the rim. 275/60/20 same tire they have in store to be told they arent sure on pricing and would need to see them prior....Mounting a tire should be pretty common practice in a TIRE SHOP

Great customer service, VERY Friendly and helpful! The lowest price around for an oil change and I tried (asked) several places in the area. One place told me $92, think they were taking advantage of me being a woman.This place was so wonderful that I had my husband take his truck here to get it worked on and the cost was reasonable... we were both in and out in around an hour (Max).

I had great experiences here for 3 different vehicles I had tires and alignments done. I dont know about any other services but I highly recommend for tires and alignments. They have a state of the art alignment machine and pleasant customer service.

Obviously the manager George thinks he can speak to people anyway he likes. Upon entering this place, I overhead him speaking rudely and unprofessionally to staff members. That was my que to take my business elsewhere! If you treat your staff that way then I wonder how you treat your customers? It takes a cowardly punk to disrespect people in that manner and I’ll make sure that every person I know GOES ELSEWHERE FOR THEIR VEHICLE NEEDS.

I called two days in advance to make an appointment for my services. When I arrived, the customer service person could not find me in the system. It took him four times to get my name correct, then told me that it’s first come first serve. This was not conveyed to me during the first phone call I made two days in advance. The customer service man was condescending when I asked questions about itemizing my services as I wanted to know how they got to the price I was signing. When I went to pay with my debit card, their system was down. I waited for about 30 minutes with still no system and and no resolution from the employees. I stated, I can go over to the bank across the road to get cash. The customer service man asked if he could take me over which was again insulting and unsafe. When I returned with the cash. I did get an apology, for their system being down, but was not offered anything else. Understanding that it’s not their fault for the down system, the recovery aspect was not there! I’m sorry to say, this was an extremely poor experience on all accounts.

Fast Service. Typical outcome.I was able to schedule an appointment online the night before I actually needed service on a Thursday morning. I arrived that morning and my vehicle was pulled into the garage very soon after. Those were the highlights of the visit.Here is the point where things became typical. I had a diagnostics done and my problems were located. Then like so many of these Corporate repair shops do, I received an invoice for overpriced parts and labor. Also, if I hadnt stood right there while getting a smoke test, I would have likely been invoiced for an additional hundreds of dollars for a part I didnt even need. It took me a couple more days, but I went and bought my own parts (saved over $200) and found a mechanic with a much more respectable Labor rate. The Store Manager (Last name George, I believe) became noticeably aggravated when I asked if I could provide my own parts and just pay for labor. I knew he would probably say no but I gave it a shot. I mean, who doesnt want to save $$ where they can? When I asked, his exact words were: My name is not on the outside of this building . I simple no wouldve sufficed. This individual kept the same energy up until I paid for the tests and left. Even letting out a forced and fake Have a nice day! A little professionalism can go a long way. But purposely and knowingly ripping people off is for Suckas!

Got an inspection. It took awhile, but waiting area is clean and nice. Make sure your wiper blades will pass before going because we had to pay $60 for $15 blades.

We had a vehicle serviced here and were over charged $60. Another company said the max this should run was $60-$80 less than what they ended up charging us.Im writing this review so that you know I am not happy!Im really upset with myself for not going to the other place, but they had the car torn apart, basically holding it hostage for hours until the parts arrived so we had no choice.I thought this was an honest business, but I cant in good conscience EVER come back here in the future.. UNFORTUNATE!

I came in for a simple oil change. Waited in the lobby for a few minutes when one of the employees came back saying I needed to change the windshield wipers and adjust the rear brakes. My car has been working just fine and there were no issues until I came here. Then they tried to charge me $150.00 extra. Never go to this location! I know I won’t again.

My girlfriend went to this location to get her oil changed, and they told her it would take 45 mins. After an hour, she went to ask about the status of her car, still not done. After an hour and a half, she went up again and asked about the status, still not done. After she went up the second time, the assistant manager went back to the shop and proceeded to talk bad about her. He referred to her as this B****. He told his employees to not tell her whats wrong with her car so that they can get her out of there. I am appalled at this man. Its taking every ounce of strength to not go down there myself and discuss this matter directly with him, but that would not end well for either of us. Do not take your car here. You will get the same treatment.

Asked the Manager for prices of tires for my car. He made me feel like I had never bought tires before and says he has tires for $97...I said no, lets go cheaper...he says $85...I said no thank you and left...Im a Veteran...he made me feel like I was a woman who had no clue. Id never recommend this place to anyone and Ill never go back! The only reason I gave this place a star was for the guys cleaning the waiting area...they were doing a great job...

Ladies and gentlemen if you are looking for an honest rating, here it is. This 5 Star raining is for Greg, he works the front counter. He is polite, respects people, and if he’s at the front desk and he has to quote me a job on my vehicle that may seem more expensive, I’ll dont mind paying it.Having said all that I’ll tell you that if the gentleman that has Store Manager on it gave me an estimate for the same work I hesitate. Maybe it’s just me but when I am talking to anyone him I feel like I am talking to a “used car salesman”The guys in the shop know what they are doing, and have fixed anything I have asked them to and they don’t mind me stopping them and asking questions as they are about to pull in my car to the garage spaces.I hope the others can up their customer service and not for nothing but they should give Greg some recognition.Thanks y’all.

First time coming here, I had a nail in my tire and they took my car right in, expecting to pay about 10 or so dollars for the repair they did it for free! Defiantly the best tire people around.

Went for oil change and reason it takes so very long is the fellas are hunting around for more services they can attach to the job, and the oil change is simply a loss leader. Women are especially at risk here. Its corporate America gone desperately wrong...again. Scoundrels. Oil change seemed fine.

Everytime u go after 5:30 pm they will not do the service I have came 4 times cause I cant get up there til then n and have been told 4 times different things . Their service is not good at all after 5:30 pm everyday. And they only had one car in the shop n the guy said they were suppose to have another car coming what a bad excuse. Went to get inspection and didnt pass I understood that I had some things to get fixed. Had a power steering leak needed some 2 tires and something else done. Got my car back and started hearing a grinding noise I ever heard of on my driver side that didnt have prior to me taking it there. For this to get fixed they tried to charge me 1100. Took to my mechanic to get the same things fixed and he fixed the leak for 200 (900 less than my estimate). People were nice but i dont know what happened during the time they had my car will NEVER go there again

Great prices got four new tires installed on my truck in under an hour.

I came out of the grocery store to find my car had a flat tire. It would be 2.5 hours before AAA could give me a tow. After making several other calls for help, to no avail, I called Goodyear in Indian Trail. Within 10 minutes Richard came to me, pumped some air into the tire and then followed me back to the shop where he repaired the hole in my tire. And Goodyear did all this with no charge to me! I cant say enough good things about Richard and George and the crew at Goodyear Sun Valley.

A good place to get tires

Ryan, I had the same experience with this place. I was in town for my daughters volleyball tournament and needed a tire plugged. Once my truck was on the lift I noticed the Techs looking at all the tires except for the tire with the screw in it. Ten minutes later the guy says the tires do not have enough tread and offers to get me an estimate on four new tires. If I had wanted to buy tires I would have asked for it, but mine are not ready to be replaced and have plenty of tread left.I tried to get the guy to fix my tire again, but he said they have standards that they have to meet. Try meeting the standards of your customers soon or that new building will be empty soon.As I left he handed me a quote for two new tires at a cost of $420.By the way, I found a Wal-Mart down the road and had my tire fixed quick, and was treated with respect. When I do need tires I will not be buying from Goodyear, especially not at this location. Ridiculous!! Thanks Wal-Mart.

Just had my starter replaced. First of all took two hours to just get a quote, then we get home and look at the paperwork and realie they put a Remanufactured starter in my car... which was never disclosed not once in any of the discussions. There pricing was by far the highest around. Very dissatisfied with the level of disclosure. If you are going to put a remanufactured piece of equipment in someones vehicle, you most definitely should disclose such... highly disappointed.

Dont go here if youre in a hurry. My vehicle was finished and it took 10 minutes for someone to take my money.

I brought my car in for an inspection. I was told it failed inspection because the catalytic converter was bad, the passenger side wiper was torn and the tag lights were out and gave me an estimate to fix these problems. When I got home I found the wiper came out of the track, and when I turned the lights on the tag lights came on. Because of those two things that they just wanted to pile on the cost, I wouldnt use them again. Its a shame because I can walk there from the house.

Failed inspection for tires and they tried to sell me 2 tires for $400. There was nothing wrong with my tires, I used to be an inspector.
