I went to leave the house and take my kids to school and my car was dead. It had to be jumped every time I got in it. A friend recommended this business so I brought it in for them to take a look at it. They did a very thorough inspection of my van, which I was very impressed by. They didn’t just look at the battery, they made sure there were no other problems. They also stayed in contact with me every step of the way. When they identified the problem, they let me know right away and gave a price break down. They also told me what else would need to be fixed and gave me a price break down of that in order of what needed to be done first. I was never pressured into fixing anything I didn’t want to fix. I was also given another car to drive while they fixed my car. This removed a lot of stress of worrying about how I was going to get my kids to and from school. Overall, I had a great experience and was very happy with process. My van was fixed and I’ve had zero issues. I highly recommend this business!!

Very close to our house and professional work. They services all vehicles now, too. Fixed a broken tailgate and was transparent about the cost throughout the process. Sometimes it can take a bit longer than I would expect but they are expanding and adding more techs and a bigger garage.

Sal and team are fantastic. I’ve owned BMWs (3) and have always had issues once they hit a certain mileage. Sal was a recommendation from a friend and while I tend to be very wary of auto repair alternatives (from the dealership), Sal is the exception. Every time I visit, Sal teaches me something new to consider about my car. But most importantly, Sal has a genuine interest in developing relationships with his clientele and looking out for their best interests. Sal went out of his way and dug into warranties / looked up past history (outside of his service) to see if there were any considerations to my vehicle—and saved me a ton of money. I’ve had some rough experiences where I’ve had cars under warranty (in this case a Toyota) where I simply traveled out of region and did an oil change and tune up; they (Toyota of New Bern) charged me without looking into the history - I paid for a Toyota Cares package that they simply didn’t look up. Sal is the real deal—I genuinely will go to him to fix all cars and likely seek his advice on my next vehicle. I live in Morehead City and am willing to drive 300 miles just to fix my car with Sal. When you finally find a good / great mechanic who you trust—you do not let him go.

Sal and his team do some honest and thorough work. I asked to have my oil feed line and oil filter housing/cooling gaskets replaced on my 2009 mini cooper s and once they got the parts they made short work of getting it all in and replaced, while also letting me know anything else they could do in the future to ensure my car runs the best that it can. 10 out of 10 will be back.

Wonderful work on my mini coupe. Professional services. Wonderful attitudes and personalitys.Took mini coup in for an oil change. As always Sal did a wonderful job. First I took my 2010 BMW M3 to Sal, he diagnose what was wrong with and fixed it in no time! My BMW runs like a champ! Then I took my Mercedes E350 and the same results! I’ve used them for at least 6 years now. They are former BMW techs who decided they wanted to do the quality work and not rip off customers. All the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I won’t take my 1995 325i anywhere else. Barbara is great, Sal is the nicest most honest mechanic I’ve ever met and they hired someone new recently as a service advisor and she seems all aces too. Great shop! Really knowledgeable staff that will always take care of you the way you would take care of your self. Very fair prices. If you have a mini, bmw, or any European car for that matter, this is the only shop you should take your car to. I am an enthusiast that usually does his own work, but if I can’t do it my self these are the only guys I take it to. I highly recommend Sal and his team for your MINI service. I have been taking my 2012 MINI Cooper hardtop to Kinetech for over 5 years beginning when I needed to replace the thermostat. They have certified technicians who have experience MINI and BMW dealer service departments. Their pricing is much less than what dealer repair departments charge and the service is exceptional. I was able to schedule my service in one day when a check engine light illuminated. The checked out all systems an determined that there was an electrical sensor that needed replacement. While there I also had my front brake rotors and pads replaced. This vehicle gets serviced twice per year and is in excellent condition. I am pleased that I have a trusted mechanic in Kinetech.

Awesome experiences! Take time with your vehicle to make sure it’s right the first time. Need to share how they saved me over $18,000 on service work that Hendricks BMW on Independence stated I needed and Honest 1 on Monroe Rd. concurred after I shared Hendrick assessment. They never looked beyond our conversation after that. Their assessment made me buy another car $45,000. Both were wrong, two years later vehicle still running with no problems, no thanks to Hendrick and Honest 1 Auto Care. Kinetech bill not sure but $250?Thx. Guys!!!

Phenomenal! I had my Mini Cooper S worked on and customized by Tim and Sal with Kinetech Motor Werkes when I lived in NC. They are very professional and really know their way around German cars! Now living in South Florida, my Coopers engine blew a piston and I knew I could count on their team to find me the right short block (and a few extra internals) at the right price and get it to me without any hassle. I can honestly say that it was the absolute best experience that I have ever had at an auto shop. I was referred to Kinetech by a co-worker, and Im so grateful. These guys totally put me at ease from the time I first walked through the door. They are great about explaining the problem, the cause of the problem, and the solution to the problem. I didnt get that tense/uneasy feeling that you get walking into the dealership, waiting to hear the pending horrible news of your cars condition and the a la carte list of repairs deemed necessary by the Service Coordinator.
