Ed was amazing! This store is top notch in every way. We came in with two pictures we needed matting for. Not only did Ed give us a steal of a deal but his attention to detail was phenomenal. We had a very old cardboard poster my husband got from a friend. Not worth much but has great sentimental value. The picture was rough, the edges were beat up, and the white lettering had some dirt on it from being stored in a basement. It wasn’t the kind of thing I’d hang anywhere. But Ed matted it so you couldn’t see the edges at all, and even took the time to clean up the lettering. He made some other very keen choices with the backing and changing out the plastic front for glass. The picture looks completely different. It’s now something I am honestly ok with hanging in our guest room. If you’re ever in need of a true professional framing company this is the place. And if he’s doing same-day work you can browse through his very extensive and unique antiques he sells as well!!

I just had three pictures framed by Ed, the owner. He did a fantastic job helping me pick the mats and frames to best highlight my pictures.

I had this oversized poster of Indianapolis Neighborhoods which was something like 44 x 46 that I wanted dry-mounted. The mainstream stores, Hobby Lobby, Michaels, etc were not able to handle dry mounting this size. On a tip from someone at the Michaels store, I contacted Ed at Picture Perfect at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon. After describing what I needed, Ed not only knew what poster I had, but was also able to handle the work immediately. I told him Id be right there.After arriving, Ed showed me several of these posters he had already mounted. He educated me on the various materials and explained their differences and answered all my questions; far more service and knowledge than what I would have gotten from a mainstream store.Anyway after some time, he offered to press mount the poster I had brought in (as opposed to simply exchanging it for one he already mounted). This is what I really wanted. Without a second thought, he began to prepare his machine and prep the poster while I looked around the shop. We spoke on and off about various things and he explained more about the process and his business. I was impressed at some the work I saw in his shop, but mostly I was impressed with the level of service and information I was getting from Ed. It was truly a nice experience.I dont have a lot of framing and picture mounting needs, but if/when I do I will be sure to use Ed and his services in the future.Thanks Ed!

We had a really large photographic print to frame and really didnt know where to start re: type of frame, color of mat etc. The shop has every possible type of both but what really made the experience a 5 star one was the time taken with us to help us find what worked with specifically our picture as well as our tastes in general. Ed is super knowledgeable but was also very careful to pay attention to our thoughts and never pushed his choices (although I hope he thinks we made good choices because the picture looks FANTASTIC!!). PTGFA will be our go to place for all future framing requirements (plus he has some amazingly gorgeous antiques, well worth a look).

I took some >100 year old drawings to Ed for framing advice - he was extremely helpful in discussing the options, pros and cons, helping us make decisions. The work he did for us was outstanding, extremely high quality and looked great. It was ready even quicker than he estimated, and we were totally satisfied and impressed with the finished product. I was pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail when I picked it up. It looked great, but also had some small touches that I appreciated. For example, he had taped a small bag to the hanging line on the back with a nail and metal hanger to hang the frame. He also was nice enough to send a picture message over when the frame was done to let me know it was ready.Ed takes pride in his work and understands what it means to have great customer service. Really neat place with a massive massive selection. The place is giant, I simply didnt have enough stamina to walk through it all. My only compliant is that things seem to be priced too high across the board. Otherwise its a really neat place to spent a couple hours!

Picture This Gallery and Ed went beyond all expectations with the custom creation Ed made for me! It consisted of a a custom shadow bow with Ed’s personal touches. The box was for my significant other who is graduating nursing school with her bachelors. Unfortunately both of her parents passed at a young age and won’t get to witness this accomplishment. Ed was able to put a stethoscope with pictures of them and quotes they said on a brass tag and perfect this as a gift for her. Something she will always be able to hang onto as if they were still here. What needs to be mentioned is I never met Ed. I have been out of the country for work and was able to reach him on short notice and he was happy to take the task and finish it to perfection! Also, the mind blowing part is that Ed was able to hand deliver this for me which was a decent drive away... what more could you even think to ask of someone! I called and spoke to Ed, the owner. I had a big job I needed done in a very short amount of time. To say he went above and beyond to help me is an extreme understatement!He didnt have enough supplies in stock to complete my order, so he drove to the supplier in Ohio to get what I needed. (Because I needed the job done so quickly, the supplier wouldnt be able to ship them fast enough, so he offered to go pick them up!)Ed guided me in my selection of mats and frames, and then worked his butt off to finish the order for me. He came through for me on time which allowed me to meet my deadline.I cant say enough great things about Ed! Hes a superstar! I had Ed frame a small poster when I first moved to Indy 10 years ago. Ten years later when my (much more valuable) oversized framed print came crashing down off the family room wall, destroying the frame, my first thought was to take it to Ed. He had done such a perfect job helping me choose a frame and then framing my very inexpensive poster years ago, I knew he would take good care of this expensive piece of art. And that he did. He helped me choose a frame that was more brilliant than the original and in fact gave the print a whole new look, much more appropriate for my decor. He then framed it in record time and kept in contact with me throughout the entire process. I will not hesitate to use Picture This for my next project!
