It just seems management has turned to the Goodwill model of over pricing items. Their other location appeared to be the about the same. Clean and nice but expensive. First and last visit to both stores.

I used to love coming to the mission 27 shops because it was exciting to find somet find some good deals on things that I wouldnt typically be able to buy. Now it seems that someone is going through and marking up all the prices and if I wanted to buy off the clearance rack I would just go to the brand name store and buy it brand new.

Great store. I love the furniture and skincare items. Only 2nd hand store I know of to sell brand new stuff as well. My new favorite place to go. Friendly inviting atmosphere and the employees are wonderful. If you love finding a great deal check this place out!

So cute! Has a cafe inside. Really well organized and arranged so everything is easy to see and reach. Prices are higher compared to Goodwill for example, but the quality of items overall is much higher. Worth a visit!

Luv luv luv this unique thrift store, especially the prayer board. Nice little coffee corner as you walk in and of course you are guaranteed to find a bargain. Close to pleasant run walking trail, fountain square and Garfield park. A must stop on a chill out day.

Very similar to a goodwill. Wheelchair accessible, kid friendly alot of household items. Business attire for men and women. You can shop without hurting your wallet

Clean, has many new and second hand clothing and home items in like new condition at modest prices. Tons of dresses!Theres also a coffee shop but Im not sure when its open. Half price color tags of the day amount to even bigger savings but i had to remind the cashier to give me my discount.

I enjoyed the hospitality of the Mission 27 coffee nook for an hour before I browsed the resale merchandise. After I finished studying with a cup of tea, I found an Easter tablecloth in the linens. I later returned to buy a drop leaf table. Leah helped me pack it into my car. I highly recommend Mission 27 for a pleasant experienced

So very Shocked! And Upset over the management and employees of this store.Today my aunt was inside this store shopping with her family, like usual. They are regular customers of this business, well she is a Senior citizen and all of a sudden she had an emergency. Her son and husband were across the store and she needed a restroom immediately and she rushed into the customer womens room. Unfortunately she had an accident, but was able to get inside the restroom first.Poor thing she was scared and humiliated over what happen. She quickly did her best to clean herself up and the restroom area.Then she rushed outside to their car and called her family inside her son already saw her crying while leaving and was terrified.During this horrible experience she missed a place on the restroom floor she already had cleaned everywhere else up as good as she could.They left and went home, then later went over to the other Mission 27 store off southeastern Ave. While she waited in the car her son and husband was attacked by the store manager! Inside.This woman came from the Shelby st location with the elderly moms photo!! She pulled off the security cameras.She told all the employees at this store, they were laughing very loud about it and making rude jokes together.Then the manager had the nerve to Blatantly call her son out loud across the this store saying We have an Issue here!! And telling everyone very loudly that his mother had just dedicated all over her other store...Omg, what a nightmare! This manager basically treating his elderly mom and a normal customer like some criminal?All over a horrible accident she had due to her age and a medical problem.The manager would not! Listen to reason, or entertain and kind of compassion for what just had happen to his mother who was just humiliated out in public. And now being slandered like a criminal .Yes, of course her son did get very upset with this manager and staff and was very verbal with them.Who wouldnt have??? Over something so awful, that was an accident. And these 2 stores staff all thought it was funny and okay to treat a senior like that.They are going to there family attorney tomorrow and pursue a defamation & discrimination case on this business and management etc.So shoppers beware! This is how they treat the elderly and disabled in their stores!!!

I love this re-sale store. They have the best deals on furniture. They have been voted Indys #1 furniture resale store a couple of times. Very nice selection of clothing. If I had a growing boy in my house again I would shop here constantly. All the clothing looks dame near brand new. It may be a dollar and some change more then say Goodwill but definitely worth it. Every name brand you can think of. Great value great quality great employees.

Its like a thrift store but so much better. For one unlike other resale places you dont walk out feeling like you need a shower and 2 they have much nicer things and a good veriety from antique to modern and all at a very resonable price. My wife and I redecorated our living room all with furnature we bought at M-27 and didnt pay half of what we estimated it to cost us, I absolutly love this place and the staff.
