This place has so much memorabilia, its awesome. Its like as soon as you walk in you get hit with instant nostalgia and want to buy everything. Great staff, reasonably priced, will keep shopping here, definitely

I enjoy manga. Sometimes, going in to the store can be fun and its nice looking at their selection. However, online not so much. They cant seem to get an order right. Not to mention, items will be listed as in stock until you actually buy them. Then they are suddenly backordered or on order and take weeks to months to even ship. And thats just if they dont cancel the order first. Ive been waiting since the beginning of April for a box set that was listed in stock at the time of purchase. It went on back order as soon as I bought it. Pretty frustrating. Learned my lesson with their online ordering.As of July 13, still waiting on an order from April with no update. Even emailing and asking customer support for an update gets me nothing but an automated response. They also canceled another order I waited 2 months for. No update in between placing the order and the order being canceled. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻They cancelled an online order with no warning and stated they had issues with my card and tried to reach me. No phone calls, no emails, nothing. I also know that I have the correct card on file and had money for the order to go through. What a joke.

Super friendly staff! I mean great and patient customer service! It is getting 3 stars because of the selection. And the random order the books were put in. Not bad though. Really appreciate the patience of the staff helping me try and locate the books I wanted.

There were a plethora of books to choose from. I spent at least an hour here just looking around. I left with a book about Gardening that only cost me $6.00 after tax. I love this place

Bathrooms in this store are a thing of nightmares. Clearance/used section has a good variety. You can tell staff is pressured to sell their membership...made the checkout process uncomfortable.

Boring as h_ll ! 97% of the store is geared torwards womens intrest. The selections for men is rather dismal to say the least. I have seen better selections at my physicians office.

Our BAM is next to the pet store. I had my dog with me and noticed they had some kid books outside. I picked a few and asked if I could purchase them. They said because the dog is not a service dog we could not come in. Besides the fact I trqcked them down to ask. No offer to ring my purchases up for me while Inwait outside. Nope, just put her hand out for the books. The lack of critical thinking, customer service, and desire for sales mean I shall not be attempting to get books from this store again.

I always love going to this book store and finding new things. Theyve done a lot of changes to the way their store is organized and its great. The only thing is that I wish they either had a sign that their Joe Muggs was closed or that no one is there. It would be nice to not stand there for 6 minutes, waiting for no one. Only complaint.

If you need to go to a physical book store, this is an alright place. They have a bunch of things that are not related to books or reading as well (toys, games, etc.)

I ordered 2 books online from Books a Million after finding the store was out of stock. Long story short they never arrived and the customer service does not respond. You know, I spent money to sign up for their yearly membership program but I regret it. I have been shopping at BAM for years but I dont see why I should spend hours and hours over a 30 dollar order.

Its a book store. Bootleg Barnes and Noble. The lady running the coffee place was pleasant but slower than I thought was possible... Stood waiting as the sole apparent customer while she made a drink for a lady sitting nearby. I literally developed tree DNA and started growing roots into the floor. Then I waited more. Then I, now a treeant, walked away to find what once was my teenage son in the young adult section only to find him in the philosophy section, now a fully grown man, reading the art of war as recommended reading for his business degree program at University. We returned to the coffee place to find it abandoned. We then left... Half out of frustration and half due to an ominous feeling caused by the sudden realization that all the books were made of paper... Which are made from trees.... Which I now am...

I love coming here for books because its a nice book store with a little coffee shop, good deals on books, and lots of pop culture goodies there. Every employee Ive ran into is nice.Yall need to watch out for stuff being improperly marked price wise though. Tired of thinking theres a sweet deal on something and its not because kids or other adults think slapping a discount tag on it from another item will magically discount it. Makes for an annoying day at checkout.

A favorite bookseller. They carry wide selections of books and magazines. Newer titles plus classics. Shelves are well organized and well presented. Good lighting and space to stand in aisles while perusing interesting titles.If you enjoy books, you must visit this store.

I have to say it is pretty shady that BAM won’t return books received as a gift. I don’t have a receipt because it was a Christmas gift and the store employees were completely rude about the entire process.I already called the corporate number they provided and had a representative tell me this has “always” been their policy.Actually, that is a blatant lie since I normally return Christmas gifts here and have been doing so for the past 5 years!Well forget you BAM because Amazon exists and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about your horrendous return policies and so called customer service.

Absolutely my favorite bookstore! Every time a book is not available on on visit, it there my next visit. Ive never had an issue with having an employee look up a book, great place to read and buy novelty items both book and movie related.

I looked up the website to see if they carried an author in store, and it said they did, so when I drove 25 minutes to the store that was not the case. Nope, none of the authors work. I asked the person working behind the counter she said that was a thing that happens all the time, clearly she was aware that this is a problem. It’s sad to see that we are at the end of the actual book store shopping days, but I guess this is a really good indicator.

To be fair I have always enjoyed Books-A-Million ever since childhood, but I went back recently and it was still as I recall and the staff was great. Only reason for a four star is the layout of the store was slight confusing for me as they had games and toys all around the store rather than a more transparent method of organization.

Very good selection in a wide array of things to choose from. Good way to spend a rainy day with the kids and let them pick out a few things to enhance their reading abilities. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable in locating items. A bit on the pricey side because most Publications are at the full sticker price.

They have the largest magazine selection in the Indianapolis area. The staff is very helpful. Their coffee is really some of the best coffee. (Vash makes great coffee drinks.)

There is a little bit of everything i could shop everyday here and still find something i want or need.

Its handy.....but I seldom find what Im looking for (book club selection/etc). I do enjoy their gift item selection... Pop dolls, clothing, etc.

They have some bargain books but most are sold at retail price and not much is on sale. However they do have a wide variety of trinkets, puzzles, and gift items, as well as a little coffee shop. Very nice atmosphere.

Its not as big as you think it is. Prices are alright. Friendly staff, and lots of fun geeky collectible stuff. Ill probably be back in the future

The place is huge. Its great. I didnt even get halfway through and found so many cool things. Ended up spending more money then i thought i was going to spend, but it all was well worth it. Speed a signed copy of the newest WoW book and some other great things. Will shop again.

This Books A Millions cafe has horrible service. I stood at the checkout line for ten minutes. I turned around and saw two employees staring at me from the front counter, not doing anything, clearly seeing that I needed help. Later on, a woman came up and they ran over to help her. That was the only customer they helped though in the span of an hour. As I sat there working, they lost a total of 5 paying customers all because they didnt have someone at the counter.

Worth the drive from 56th Shadeland and awesome prices.

Rarely go in this outlet but their service was very helpful and took me right to what I had asked her for upon entering the store.
