Chocolates were okay, but for the price, they should be life-changing. Paid $33 for TWELVE truffles and a chocolate dipped pretzel. Maybe Im a country bumpkin, but we go to any chocolate shop we see anywhere (malls, new towns, tourist traps on vacations, etc) and get a small box to share and this is the most I have EVER paid out of at least 40 different specialty chocolate shops...and frankly, Ive had better chocolate. As I said, its okay, but Ive had better for much less. The packaging is nice though so 👌

Best Chocolates is always a treat! When Im visiting Mass Ave, I always have to stop in and pick up some chocolates. They also serve Lick Ice Cream, which is made locally. Definitely pop in!

Used to hold up to the name, at one point it was indeed the best chocolate in town. Now that theyve been acquired by Newfangled Confections it seems theyve discovered some newfangled corporate evils. The fact that they dont allow customers to select flavors for their truffle assortments anymore means they wont be getting my business again. The quality of their products has depreciated as well!

I adore this place. They have an incredible selection of truffles. The staff is always friendly and patient (deciding what to get is seriously difficult). Not only do they have vegan truffles, they have a selection of vegan truffles. This makes me so happy because so many places that have a vegan option only have one option - thank you for having more than one so that we get variety also! I most frequently get the vegan birthday cake truffle. My partners favorite is the (non-vegan) dark and stormy. If you arent a truffle fan, they also have a variety of other chocolaty treats and ice cream. The teenager in our family doesnt like dark chocolate and there are always plenty of milk chocolate options for her as well.

This place literally has the best chocolate in town. The price is utterly worth it! I frequently buy their chocolates as gifts and I i have never had a disappointed recipient. their selection is vast and changes fairly frequently. I like that they offer vegan options and expanded offerings and interior seating make this a great place to not only buy chocolates, but also meet up with friends.

The name is accurate! Ive had quite a few things here, and not once did they disappoint. The truffles are pricey but worth it (with a couple of vegan varieties available), and theyll make your cup of hot chocolate right in front of you the old-fashioned way, with milk or dark chocolate. Basically, this is a chocolate shop for true chocolate lovers. If youre in the area, its worth a trip just to smell the air.

First time we came was it was amazing!! We went back today to buy another pie, but they only had two pies available. That was very disappointing. With that said the truffles are yummy, and the pies used to be worth the drive!

Went in on a Friday early afternoon for both of us to buy holiday gifts for a total of 8 people. The shelves were empty except sugar free and something with caramel one person was on the phone in back and two others were in personal conversations that they cKearly didn’t want inteRrupted. The ‘young man’ was quite short and put out when we asked why empty and when more was expected... which we got a curt answer... don’t know. We get things all the time... we asked today, tomorrow morning, tomorrow afternoon... the “young girl” said we get it as we get it. We were appalled! Left... went to Kilwins o. Mass. Ave, spend almost $200.00 and couldn’t have been helped by a more polite helpful young man. Won’t go back!! Guess they don’t know the meaning of support small business and shop local. The owner should be embarrassed. !! One star is too much!

This shop is my go-to happy place. Apart from the incredible confections (my favorites are the dark and stormy, the cranberry almond white chocolate, cookies and cream) the staff is always friendly and helpful. In the summer, we stop by for iced mocha coffee or ice cream. They say you cant but happiness, but you can come awfully close at The Best Chocolate in Town.

Received the truffles as a gift and was very pleased. I did not particularly care for the choc chip flavor but I loved the birthday cake flavor and the other the 3.I definitely will go back myself and get some more chocolates.

Great treats and very friendly staff! Came in for gelato (they had 4-5 gelatos and 4-5 ice creams) and was happy to see they had a great coffee setup too! They had local Bee Coffee brewed. I actually skipped over the candy on my visit, but it all looked incredible. It was excellent all in all! Recommended if you want chocolates, coffee, or ice cream!

My favorite chocolate place to go! So sad I dont live in Indy anymore, but every time I am in Indy I make sure to make a trip to Mass Ave just for this place! So far I havent been able to find any chocolate place where we currently live that doesnt even come close to Best In Town.

Really impressed with this shop! I came in with two little kids to get them some candy and of course one had to pee... the staff was super nice and made an exception and let us use their staff only restroom! We got 2 chocolate covered pretzels and 4 other candies. The kids ate their pretzels in such a hurry I didnt even get the usual sample taste! This upscale chocolate shop has plenty of variety in its chocolates and other treats. Being addicted to sugar and chocolate, I needed my fix, so I stopped in for a four-piece truffle package. Im glad I went, and would probably go regularly if I was in that area often.

Wow! I dont even like sweets but I had to try something from here. There are so many choices, everything sounded interesting! I ended up trying a tiramisu truffle and it was fantastic!I will definitely be coming back here next time Im in town!

Seemed like they may have had a nice selection, but bad service and organization. Theres no organization customer service. Two employees working, one going as fast as she could, the second had her back turned to customers ignoring the line. Had two customers cut in front of me. I gave up a left.

This place has grown over the years but the quality and craft is still amazing. We love a dark chocolate ganache and they have a wide variety of delicious options that range from the sweeter BlackBerry truffel to their savory Gorg, which has just a hint of Gorgonzola. But dont worry, if you like milk chocolate or even white chocolate you will find plenty to keep you happy.
