I use to be able to say Ive never had a bad experience at a pilot. Cant say that any more, from recent reviews I saw corporate should come here and turn this place around. Absolutely horrible.

Teeny tiny parking lot. Dirty with litter and pot holes! 6 spots for traveling vehicles to park. Trucks only basically.No breakfast sandwiches available at 7am!!The fountain drink i got was all syrup. Brought back in immediately and was argued with over a refund or replacement can of pop. Bet they didnt test the soda and reconfigure the mix. That was all syrup.Not what I am used to when stopping at Pilot or Loves. Loves moving forward only even if 10 miles out the way.

Found a parking spot and went to sleep. Smart mouth security guard beating on my door to tell me I was in reserve parking. I said no I didn’t know. His response was can’t you see the yellow paint. Which the lot was so nasty you done good to see pavement. I said I would pay but that smart mouth changed my mind. I hope he doesn’t become a real police officer because he done lost my respect for him.

I love pilot!! The staff is always friendly and helpful and its always clean and sanitized! They usually have the best gas prices my only Complaint is sometimes the stuff that they sell is a little overpriced but I can deal with that in exchange for good service and a clean environment.

This is easily top 5 worst pilots I’ve ever been to………no need to elaborate more,if you’ve been here then you know! I wouldn’t dare eat anything from that subway.a dirty bathroom makes for dirty food,no way around it…… The Indian restaurant next door tho,that tandoori chicken with naan bread(with that green sauce) was slamming…….

This location is a joke!I pay for some peace and and quiet when I purchase a paid parking instead i get threatened byt Tim which I dont belive was his actual name but he is a security guard at that location. As usual I arrived late and there was no piad parking space open (I had mine purchased long in advance) and after a while of waiting for staff to do something about it (3am) I got super tired and went to sleep on the side next to an exit from the pumps. (Still plenty room for trucks to pass around) yet this person wakes me up 7am and demands from me to move to another spot! (No elog time yet)Pilot Why you sell something if you cannot honor it?! Keep paid parking space clear all night long for those who paid for it! I spend what too much money on they gas and everything else at your brand just beacons of this one service, if I cannot relay an it I will gladly switch to competition and never look back at you again!

Nasty gross and tiny. Nasty showers where what you catch a doctor cant wash off. Jabba looking hookers all around and most spaces are pay to park. No food and drink coolers empty.

Horrible experience. Customer service had lack of service for customer. Couldn’t accommodate my needs. There for will not be coming to this location. Very rude unhelpful staff.

A good place to stop.Place appeared clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking for all kinds of vehicles from cars to big rigs, RVs and vans. Fuel prices competitive for the area. The attached Dennys is pretty good.

Parking is tight got a motel nearby the dirt lot area is an option to park at if you brace enough to venture back there and also at time strange people with cars just driving by at time some homeless folk and I seen one lot lizard I should have taken a picture of Her also whats up with that red truck with the Orange camper with the gay guys.

Loving those new fresh brewed coffee machines. That and the Brazilian iced coffee.

Theres a Dennys on site with a seating area for drivers. The drivers lounge has a few tall tables along the windows and lots of chairs. Theres two massage chairs by Dennys. The restrooms are fairly clean and the Dennys staff is decent.

Had shower power in addition to 3 shower credits she couldnt get her system to work and charged me instead of comping them

What’s the point to have security on premises while he can’t enforce parking and let ppl park on no parking bcz that’s due buys him some some sodas n all and probably his buddy.

Probably one of the worst parking lots i ever been to. Its a swamp and death zone. Park at your own risk!

2019-05-08 (12h30 pm)I always stop at Pilot Travel Center/FlyingJ truck stop and Im most of the time satisfied .Usualy, I left tips for the people who cleaned up the shower but not this time because it seems that the people in charge of it today doesnt do it properly.The garbage can was not emptied, the toilet bowl was disgusting and the des a used towel left on the bench ...Look at the pics that I took.I hope the manager will take care of that ...FlyingJ # 656, Whiteland, Indiana.

All I can say is Im happy I usually visit this stop through the week late nights and early mornings, the usual workers are always friendly and helpful. My wife and I stopped on a friday/Saturday night (last weekend in Fedruary) and my wife was very uncomfortable by the friend of an employee that was just hanging out there. I felt sorry for the other employees and customers that were put in that situation. I hope Management was made aware of this and something is done to correct it.

This is the most disgusting shower Ive ever seen in a truck stop. The water burns your skin, it stained the wall orange. And I honestly feel even dirtier than before I showered. Whatever is wrong with their pipes is absolutely disgusting. And the smell of the water is God awful. I can still taste it.. This place shouldnt be allowed to sell showers of they cant keep it up. I will never be back to this location. This place should very shut down

My mom and I are traveling with my grandpa who is in a wheelchair and needs assistance using the bathroom. They didnt have a family room but the cashier up front was SUPER sweet and said she would close the ladies room for us if we needed but realised the wheelchair wouldnt fit so she opened up a shower room for us to use.It was the 3rd stop looking for a place that would be able to accommodate my grandpa and not only were they able to but the staff were so nice and I really appreciate that.

Arrive from a day on the road to get a hot shower and there is no hot water. Oh well, not surprised being that this is a common occurrence with Flying Js.

Woke at 3:30 am to take a shower and the employee there told me that the showers were closed.........This is the one and only pilot ive ever seen that dosent have showers open 24 hours.This happened on Saturday January 16 2021.

The WORST Pilot I have been to in the whole 32 states I have visited! It was TERRIBLE! I do NOT recommend anyone stopping here. The women’s toilets were built up with gunk and grime around the rims (looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months), the truck lot was a disaster...trash EVERYWHERE! I am so disappointed as the other Pilots I have been to have been very nice, and very clean! I literally left and went to the Flying J down the street. That’s how bad it was. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Sadly, that’s not an option!

As graduated mechanical engineer I can say that using recycled sewage water for shower is possible but only if recycling system works properly and is properly maintained. Their system in Whiteland,IN and Northfield,MN is not well maintained and needs serious attention. I guarantee this water is not microbiologicaly correct for safe external use. This means that all truck stops in this area have the same problem. I suggest them (in order to avoid losing customers) to use regular water system and to impose limit for shower 5-10min per shower.

Apparently this place uses unfiltered well water.I say that because the water smells like a shallow well, & because of the orange discoloration on the shower walls.With that being said, I wouldnt drink any beverages like coffee, or fountain drinks from this facility.Apparently the H2O filtration system is either non-existent, or needs to be changed.I.E. shallow well water is okay to shower in,( even though you might stink afterwards, but i wouldnt drink it because it can get you sick. )Theres plenty of parking.McDonalds was closed by the time I got here at 00:00 hours.Was directed to the Arbys across the street in my quest for food.

My daughter is a truck driver working for Prime Trucking, and I barely get to see my daughter from time to time. My experience at the Pilot was excellent. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the people working there are very friendly. Great customer service 👍

People are really nice and the store is very clean. Coffee is always fresh. However, if you are wanting a quick stop, for food to go overnight, then this is not your stop. The manager will make you something fresh. This place is great it is just not a place to stop quickly.

Waiting 15mins for a clean shower asked an employee what was going on with it she informed me that they only have two people here because maintenance man called out so one is on break that being the manager and when she comes back the one I was talking to has to go on a break right after..... Equalling up to an hour before I could get in a shower, I asked to clean my own shower but was quickly informed that goes against policy.... Called customer service that was no help said shed send an email to someone or another 😂🤣😂🤣 🤷🏿‍♂️

The cashier said the showers do not work and that they was broken and was very rude

Enjoy stopping here when on the road. Always cleanAnd friendly but most of all they have everything that I need. Always have fresh and good food available to buy. Coffee is always available and fresh. Bathrooms are always clean. Gas is always reasonably priced.

Dont come here. As a trucker this is a nightmare. No courtesy no room too many fools.

Pilot is my go-to truck stop. I travel between Canada and the US a lot. Great showers, good fuel prices, excellent coffee. Only gripe is the wifi. I bought premium for a year. It works great in store, but 90 percent of time I get a weak signal in my truck and its too inconsistent too have a 3 minute video call with the wife. Please fix your wifi!

It deserves some stars for kind staff and good location next to a motel and a great Indian restaurant. But the lot itself for the trucks is super tight. Kinda like a step back in time. Some lot lizards lurking too lol.

I live my life on the road and as always this Pilot Travel Center did not let me down. I was greeted as I came through the door and asked if I needed help to find anything and the restrooms were spotless and the coffee was good and hot. I would recommend stopping here whether you need gas or not because they have something that you will want but its a snack or coffee or just use a good clean restroom.

Shower was nice and clean. The orange discolored wall of the shower and the rusted looking drain seal inside the sink concerned me a little, but thought nothing more about it until I turned the shower on and was already getting wet. The odor of the water was very strong. Almost smelled like a sewer. I realize that its probably a combination of hard water, etc... but that really needs to be addressed. Made me want to go somewhere else and take another shower.

Ive been to this J numerous times but I think over the last 3 years its been going downhill. I see more trash in the parking lot, the store always seems cluttered, and then today (10/10/18) I get a shower and the washcloth was a rag that had been cut in half and I had a hard time getting any soap out of the shower dispenser in shower #14.

Clean bathrooms and a nice mini store. Was out of towels at the gas pump and soap in the bathrooms.

Wonderful. Everyone was polite & friendly. Even made sure to let people know where clearance items were. Subway was yummy as norm!

Love this stop. Clean restrooms and big shop with fast food option. Good gas prices and plenty parking. Friendly service.

The guy working was really nice. Youd think a jalapeno corn dog at 2:30 am from the heat lamps of your local truck stop would be.... Problematic... But it went surprisingly well. 5 starts cause I didnt die and there wasnt water in my gas

The best travel center we have been too. Comfortable tv room. 3 washers, they have a handicap shower with more space, a seat and a removable shower head. The guy who cleans and takes care if showers on days Monday through Friday is the best!!

We stopped at the McDonalds and had a good experience. Then we went to the truck stop. It was nice, but a little expensive. It was most certainly better then 99% of the other truck stops. I felt safe and the people were friendly. I wouldnt hesitate to go here again.

I purchased diesel fuel here on 6/6/20. As soon as i got back on the interstate i could tell something was wrong with my truck. I filled my pickup and 2 5 gallon cans up. The fuel in the cans doesnt even smell like diesel. I was told i had to speak to corperate on monday and was given a case number and told i had to deal with a guy name patrick relford. After several attempts to speak with him i got nothing in return. Today i spoke with a guy name john southarland and told me there was no issue with their fuel and there was nothing they planned on doing.He refused to show me proof that their fuel was tested and that they would not except any test results from the 10 gallons i have left in cans and that any cost would be my problem. I hope nobody else runs into this but if you do you are screwed.

Its hard for me to give any truck stop more than 3 stars. They all have higher prices for things and usually dont have the same value deals on fast food. I will say that the staff is always friendly and helpful though.

Mens restroom smells like urine. Papers strewn throughout the toilet stalls. Other than that, place was nice and workers very polite and accommodating.

I pulled in late on a Friday evening. Before I could even walk in the store to grab my receipt for reserved parking the security guard was banging on my door telling me I needed to move. I told him I had just arrived and was checking in with the fuel desk. My biggest complaint is the redicilously loud music. Im sorry I should not be able to hear the music in the parking lot over my reefer. Of course Im sure corporate will do nothing to fix that but I will definitely never stay here again.

I go here a few times a week for my morning gas up and caffeine. Literally it is the highlight of my week to see the workers here in the morning. Theyre always so friendly and quick. Love it.

No hot deli when I ask if she ordered more up she said not yet no pizza no salad dressing no salt and pepper for the hard boiled eggs. No one did laundry for the shower towels so they were not opening showers even for the ones with there own towels like my self. Good size parking lot was full at 8

This place is great! They have some really nice gals working here who are not only attractive but also very friendly and they obviousy care about their customers. I actually LOVE coming here!

I feel safer stopping at a big name travel center. Just wish there was better signage along the interstate for their locations. My phone doesnt always give me correct information.

Its alright. Lots a bit small though. And for the reviewer who complained about the American flag being taken down, it had absolutely nothing to do with offending people. Im former military and it was some military personnel that visited a Pilot in another location who brought it to the attention of the local manager that there are particular and specific regulations that must be adhered to if they are to fly the American flag to honor our military. Pilot Corporate took note of that and the Corporate office decided that they would invest in meeting those specific regulations such as pole hight and a few others and to not fly the Stars and Stripes until they can PROPERLY honor our military by meeting those specific regulations... Thats what some Pilot reps were discussing at a location when I was in Knoxville Tennessee that I overheard a while ago.

This place is consistent and convenient. They have been a staple stop on my visits to Indy and have never disappointed.

Parking is very cramped and tight. I would avoid this Pilot if possible!!!

Helpful friendly and hard-working staff, but restrooms and fuel lanes are filthy and appear to be habitually poorly maintained. It seems to be a matter of management priorities and lack of funding for adequate staff. Three stars for the staff and zero stars for the management.

Their bean to cup coffee tastes like the coffee from the machines. Did like that we were able to fuel, go to the bathroom, get coffee and be out. Still, the coffee was gross.

Strategically placed. The fuel price is usually on the low side as this intersection has three competing chains. The staff is usually friendly and quick to smile.

This is definitely one of my favorites. Extremely user friendly. Easy access. Showers are great. Service and food are friendly and fresh. Dennys had good service. The stores chicken wings and pizza were perfect.

Pilot itself is clean and the employees are friendly. They had a decent amount of food on the rollers and the hot foods. The showers on the other hand, were clean, but the water makes you smell like iron. You can tell due to all the stains in the showers. Place to sleep, yes. Place to shower, no.

I always go to Pilot and Flying J. I’ve been to the Ta’s and the Loves, the Road Rangers, Petros and it just isn’t the same. The feeling I feel when I’m there, it feels like I’m at home kinda. Very friendly service, very clean always.

Place isnt bad good hot showers, subway, and its pilot.Wanted to say something about the coming soon smoke shop across the street they will fine you for staying there with out paying them. This is just a warning to fellow drivers they will not work with you. It seemed like he wanted the money but over all he was very professional and since I was wrong I did pay him but will not b going back.

I have 2 ratings with this one. The first is for the convenience store side of the Travel Center.. The bathrooms were clean and stylish, the laundry facilities were clean, and there was a variety of useful merchandise to be purchased. The customer service fell short here, however. There were 2 CSRs. One seemed like she was a trainee because she had several issues with simple transactions in the 20 minutes I spent in the store browsing. The other was knowledgeable with the registers but was loudly talking about her private family business with someone on her cell phone. I always think this is rude to do not just for CSRs, but for customers as well. The second part of my review is for the Subway I got lunch from. The CSRs were very friendly and knowledgeable, and our food was fresh and tasty. Would go again, but only for Subway.

The pay at pump was out of order. Long wait to prepay in store. Would be a great place to start a gas station. Total flop!

The bathrooms were pretty nasty, and parking was pretty bad when you have a bunch of semis trying to park for the night and they have regular cars parking in semi spots that’s pretty terrible....

A lot of parking for a decently sized truck stop. Only 1 cat scale though. But if your looking for a spot to stay the night with a sleeper birth not a bad place to stop.

This is the best pilot around the showers are clean, the staff is great, parking is a little tight but so are most places. The parking lot was clean, easy to fuel, and last but not least I feel safe when I am their. Thank you so much Indianapolis pilot.

Love going into whiteland i stay there on the weekends i love this little redhead i love her name and she is so outgoing i have experienced some bad customer service but with this lady she is so outgoing and wonderful and shes always very nice and i just want to say im proud of you if you see this im very proud of you because you go beyond and above to take care of me as well as others thats in line i do talk your head off but you are amazing and i wanted to let you know how wonderful you are and KEEP DOING A GREAT JOB!!!
