My garage door motor needed maintenance and Overhead Door was quick to respond. The technician (Jason) easily identified the issue and fixed it immediately. I told Jason this and I’ll post it here, this was the best service I’ve had by anyone in the seven years I’ve lived at this house. Friendly, honest and efficient at a reasonable price. Hands down would recommend them!

I would highly recommend Overhead Door Company of Indianapolis for any garage door repairs, annual maintenance or replacement. When my garage door failed to close, I called Overhead Door and was greeted by Rob, one of their skilled technicians. Rob was able to simply look at my garage door and opener and detect that the spring was broken. He went straight to work on replacing the part. The service and level of attention that Rob put into replacing the spring and, more importantly, repairing the bottom panel was outstanding! Id give Overhead Door an A++ rating.

Our garage door opener was malfunctioning. At the request of a neighbor we called Overhead Door. Scheduling was easy and the staff I spoke to was friendly. The technician, Joshua Smith, called to let me know when he would arrive and he arrived in a timely manner. Joshua was pleasant, friendly and thorough. He was patient while I tried to explain our attempt to fix the problem ourselves. He quickly identified the issue and was able to fix it. He lubed the garage door parts and cleaned up all the drips. I appreciate that he opened/closed the garage door several times to ensure the issue had been resolved. Again, Joshua was thorough, friendly and efficient in his work. I had a broken spring, Overhead Door came out next day and fixed it quickly. The tech, Jed, was kind and quickly fixed my issue.They also resolved an issue from a previous visit(with the previous owner of the house) where a spring they installed was too short. I probably wouldnt have known it was wrong either way, but Jed made a point to ensure I was taken care of.In my short experience with them they seem like a knowledgeable and honest company. 10/10 recommend.

This guy is super friendly, very communicative and relaxed. He worked extremely efficiently and had the two springs replaced in under the time he told me. He whistles the whole time he works which makes everything even smoother. The door works great as expected. My garage door opener had suddenly stopped working on a Sunday evening. After trying to no avail to fix the issue myself, I Googled garage door servicers/sellers to call the next morning, and resigned myself to a sleepless night, as my garage door was stuck in the up position. I was extremely worried because replacing my garage door and opener was not on my financial agenda, and I just couldnt imagine another night with my garage open. The service tech, Jason texted me 30 minutes before he arrived. Jason was Excellent! Called for service around 1pm, Rossilyn took the call and determined that because cars were trapped in garage and I couldn’t lift the garage open manually, that I needed immediate service. She contacted JD service technician who arrived around 2:30pm. JD was professional, efficient and friendly. Both springs had broken on my garage door the night before. Called Overhead Door the next morning at 9 a.m. The representative said they could have someone out between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. She said Jason would be taking care of us and he would text me when he was on his way. I got a text around Noon that Jason was half hour away! He was here a little over an hour and replaced both springs at a very reasonable cost. Our garage door broke one of the side cables, making it impossible to open as the other cable was still attached. Just a word of caution, DO NOT cut the other cable. The spring tension that keeps those side cables taught is pretty extreme and will hurt you if you decide to try and cut the cable. Call a professional and save yourself a trip to the ER.Speaking of professionals, that is what we got. JD has 20+ years and took great care of us. He showed up on time, called before arriving and efficiently made the repair at a very reasonable price. He explained why we had the problem and took additional steps to make sure that it shouldnt occur again. We had a rusted bracket that was causing the cable to corrode faster than it should. While here he also replaced the bottom seal and programmed a remote Home Link in our car that I never could get to work. JD was on time, very pleasant, and did an exceptional job repairing all 3 garage doors. You can tell he knew what he was doing and ensured that everything was working well prior to finishing. I use overhead garage door services a lot and JD has been out before and I am always pleased with the work.

I made a call just after 8am and had Josh show up about 4 hours later. One of my springs broke and Josh was able to get 2 new springs installed within about 30 min. I would definitely suggest this company to anyone needing garage door help. We are currently moving into a new house and Josh was even nice enough to give me suggestions for new garage door openers and quoted me an installation fee!

On my way to leave work this morning, my garage door spring broke leaving me unable to raise or lower the door. I contacted overhead door and they got me on the schedule today. The customer service was great. My garage tech, JD, arrived promptly and quickly got to work. Very clean removal and install of a new spring, in only about 25 minutes our garage door was working again. He also took a minute to grease all the hinges so the door didnt squeak as bad. Great experience with overhead door. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of garage door maintenance and I will surely be using them again in the future.

He explained exactly what had gone wrong in terms that we could understand.Next we told him there was a loud pop in our garage door and wondered if it was OK. He proceeded to move several things and go up and fix that problem also.He had been down to lamb lake at my daughter Tanya Smythe’s home just yesterday. She had used overhead at my recommendation.Then I told him about a totally unrelated issue regarding recently installed storm door. The one we have at the back of the house slides up and down very easily. I assumed we were getting from same overhead. I was not here when they installed but we we are 80 and it’s very difficult for us to go down to the floor to operate screen into storm and reverse. This afternoon (a Saturday) we heard a loud bang and had no idea what happened until an hour later when we tried to open the garage door and realized one of the springs had snapped. We called Overhead Door around 5 and they had J.D. out by about 8. So great emergency service!Once J.D. got here he was right on point in getting me quotes for different spring options and he did an extremely professional job in installing the springs and then tuning up the door so it wouldnt squeak. Its running way better now than before the spring broke!I recommend them for any garage door repairs or if you need a new door!
