I stop by Sullivans frequently on my way home from the Office because I find beauty in the neighborhood and beautiful indigenous Indiana plants not to mention warm friendly service in both the storefront and the garden, but I especially love the garden. Earlier in October 2021, I had just missed the big mums sale, however, I purchased the twin to this beautiful concrete planter to showcase what I thought was a perfect pink mum. Yes, I saw, the other twin during my visit, but, he was filled with the beautys that are in bloom pictured here, so, I didnt inquire for purchasing. But, nearing the end of October, I returned to purchase a leaf blower, and moseyed on out to the garden where the twin planter was still there, so, I inquired, as to its availability and if it were the same price I had purchased its twin at, and to my surprise it was, and to my further delightful surprise the plants in it which are the pink blooming flower pictured here were included, no price increase. And, guess what else, the pink blooms go to sleep at night, and open during the day...What a beautiful free treat! If you live in the area of Broad Ripple or Meridian Hills, Rocky Ripple, heck anywhere on the Northside, even Carmel, stop in to see the indigenous garden at Sullivans over on N Pennsylvania, you wont regret it!

Very wonderful staff that greets you at the door and offer assistant as soon as you walk in the door. That is customer services at its best which I can honestly say you never gets at the bigger retail stores. Thanks ladies and gentlemen keep up the good work.

Staff here are so very helpful and polite. This fact makes this hardware store stand out among the big chains. At a place like Lowe’s, I have a hard time finding someone to ask questions to or get help from. Here, the staff are so eager to help you and go over and above. Also, they have always had what I need when I go there. Thank you to a great local business!

I come here often to support one of the neighborhood businesses described as always the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the one young man that could not help me so he went and retrived somebody a little bit older him and experienced and he was able to finish the job; I truly appreciated that.

My Husqvarna blower was broken for the second time and the boys at Hoosier Tool told me it was not worth fixing. I rented a Stihl backpack from them and decided to get my own.Sullivans has them here locally so I went in and received the best service experience of my life.Tyson came out, filled it with fuel, explained the nuances of the system and took it outside for a demo. Its got a 4 year warranty and they work on them in the shop right there at Sullivans.Im having a difficult time articulating just what a great experience it was at Sullivans, so youll have to go see for yourself. Ill never buy another tool anywhere else.Love having them in the neighborhood.Thanks, Tyson!

I really like visiting this location. There is a sort of quietness to this location that I can highly appreciate. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They made me feel welcomed. During the summer, their plant selections are excellent. The plants I purchased from here did not die over the planting season like some I purchased elsewhere. I will definitely continue to visit this location.

Really friendly folks here. I was delivering today at the Circle K, and needed a pallet Jack for a few hours. Asked the manager if I could borrow theirs, and he gladly offered it. Then, went out of his way to help me unload some of the freight with his fork lift. Real good people here

Asked for the price on a spreader and the actual price at the register was more than a manager quoted.

Had 3 keys made one didnt work.other wise everything else was ok.considering small hardware stores are getting lost these days.

Classic institute in the neighborhood, support your local hardware store instead of going to the big corporations. They employ teenage kids from the neighborhood which is always great to see. You can get free popcorn, good conversation, smiles and happiness. This is one of those things we are missing in todays America. These places are all closing down, so go shop there.

Not one employee here was wearing their mask properly. Dont go here if you care about covid-19 protocols, because theu arent taking them seriously. Ive been comimg here for 15 years, but unfortunately wont be back.

I always receive great service here. This Sullivans is my first pick for quick stops or when I dont know what Im doing. The 5% back rewards program helps a little bit with the higher prices. The free popcorn also makes it possible to bring my toddler.

Its a hardware store. Like the old school hardware stores you can find odds and ends that you usually cant find in big box home improvement stores. I buy a specific necessity for my job that no one else carries. I never compromise on quality so that is where I go. Ive been going there for years and plan to continue as long as they do. Sullivans Hardware and Garden is a small store that does a lot with what they have. In a small floor plan, they fit outdoor tools from Stihl, Weber and Big Green Egg Grills, 3 brands of paint, all manner of paint and cleaning supplies, a lackluster selection of cordless tools but a great selection of hand tools, every nut and bolt you could want, and tons of lawn care, pest control and garden supplies. You can get your keys cut at the front, so long as they dont have an ignition chip, and you really gotta visit the garden center because it has tons of baskets, flats of flowers, mums and pumpkins in the fall, Christmas trees in the winter, and lots of home garden herbs and vegetables. You will pay a bit more ~10-15% compared to a Home Depot or a Lowes, but the customer service is usually way better than the big box stores and the helpful Guys will load your car with mulch or salt or paint if you ask nicely. Good store in a good location
