We were in town for the Junior Gold national youth bowling tournament. Some of the downtime was spent at the Duckpin bowling alley down around the corner. We found this gem the first time, and came back before leaving town. The combination of flavors are delicious. So good! We will be telling others, for sure! I had to the Lemon-oreo

Consistently my favorite ice cream. My daughter is a bit of a connoisseur, and so I’ve tried many, many local ice cream joints across the region. Square Scoop has a great flavor selection, tasty waffle cones, and friendly service. Strawberry, and just about anything with the graham cracker swirl, are good choices.

Currently the best ice cream parlor in Indy. Friendly staff serving an interesting selection of flavors with a few standouts (e.g., graham central station, banana cream pie). The prices are in line with competitors (which is to say, high) but the portions are *usually* of a size to make it a good value. The decor is a tad clinical; not the kind of ambience that makes you want to linger, which is fine as youre probably or for a stroll around Fountain Square

I looked up ice cream places and this one popped up, and Im very glad I went. Its small but inviting, and the girl that served us was very kind and helpful. The ice cream I had was amazing, and Ill be coming back sometime!

Square Scoop is a cute old-fashioned ice cream shop. We really enjoyed all the retro candy available for sale.(Sugar daddies, astro pops, Charleston chews and more!) The ice cream was delicious and very reasonably priced. They gave us very generous scoops. It is a nice change in pace from DQ and all the chain ice cream places on Mass Ave.

While the ice cream was good I didnt particularly care for the flavor and would not choose it again. But all of the flavors were different which I guess is the idea being in Fountain Square

Heard of this place a little over 48hrs ago and. I have already been there twice. Its GREAT! Ive tried 6 flavors already and i loved every one of them. Plus the service is so friendly. Very cozy place. Lots of unique candy and sodas and Creative ice cream flavors. I will be spreading the word about this place and will become a regular.

Such friendly service and fun, unique flavors! I got a Lem-Oreo, a mash up of two of my favorites (lemon & Oreo), and it was soooooo good! Plus, I got a single scoop, and it was a VERY generous portion!

After having dinner just down the street we came here for dessert. There’s a free public parking lot right on the corner that was totally open on a Friday around 5p in late July. I looked at pictures of this place a heads of time and noticed they offered a flavor called Graham Central Station. That’s a flavor I’ve only ever found at Handels. So is this the same thing??I went with a scoop of Graham Central Station and a scoop of their famous Lemon Oreo. The former tasted pretty darn similar to what I’ve had - it was delicious! The Lemon was fine. The lemon flavor didn’t have much of a citrus zing, but there were plenty of large Oreo chunks.My husband tried a chocolate peanut butter shake. It was fine, but nothing special.Very cute place! Friendly service. Fun that the walls are covered in candy and games.

Small place, almost didnt see it. My son and i stopped in and got the graham central station ice cream which was very good. Nice variety of cream sodas and root beer. Several old candies from childhood. Cant wait to come back and try some of the other flavors.

This place is great! They have many different flavors for what ever type of mood you might be in..its too bad they dont allow you to sample anymore (due to Covid), but they will give you a little taste on top of your ice cream in your cone or cup! They also stay open until 10pm!

Awesome little spot in Fountain Square! They carry Sundaes ice cream, a Northside staple, and you definitely cant go wrong with that. They also have a variety of old-fashioned candy and some old-school decor. Staff is super friendly. I will definitely be back.

Such a great addition to the neighborhood! Ice cream is delicious! I always get the vegan chocolate and the raspberry sorbet. Yummm! They have multiple options for lactose intolerant including the 2 vegan flavors plus the sorbet flavors. Prices are what you would expect in fountain square, more than your mom and pop ice cream place but not enough to deter you from going. They also have a variety of candy options. Very cute place! Love it and hope it stays for a very long time to come!

Ice cream is great, they have all sorts of candy and drinks. Line was out the door when I arrived, but went very quick. In and out in under 5 minutes. Check out was fast. Love this place already. Highly recommend!!

Apple pie ice cream changed my life. It is crusty in the best way. Brandi, Michael, and Lacy are funny, lovely, sweet human beings who made sure that I got as much whipped cream as my heart desired.

Square Scoop is a great addition to the Fountain Square area and seemingly one of the only scoop shops in the area. The cold treats offered are a mixed variety between fruity and dessert flavors and are served by the scoop either in a cup or a cone. Vegan offerings are also available if thats your thing. In addition to cold treats, there is also a modest selection of retro, rare, and mainline candies and gums for sale. Furthermore, craft sodas are also sold by the bottle. Its like Rocket Fizz but much cooler. Hope to enjoy again very soon while in Fountain Square again.

The Graham Central Station is amazing. But also, every thing that Ive tried so far has been great. Probably the best ice cream that Ive had.

I discovered this place on a whim. Its located in Fountain Square kust off of the newly reconstructed Red Line. I saw a lady basically licking the bottom of an ice cream bowl walking down the street and I just had to know if it really was that good. I got single scoop waffle cone that they even let me choose two flavors for (half and half) apple pie and Graham Cracker. It was delicious. I do believe they offer more than Ice Cream but youll have to go there to see what else they have. I have no doubt though that it will be amazing. Limited seating so be prepared to grab and go.

The Graham Central Station was my first and probably will be my go to. Many more flavors to savor.I am overall impressed and WILL be returning to savor more Graham Central Station, and other flavors as well.

They stay open late enough (9pm) so we can always get some of their delicious ice cream after dinner and the staff is delightful! Have them pack a few pints to take home.

Found out I had an allergy to one of their ice creams here. Its kind of ugly inside but a nice place to hang out and has a wide selection of old candy.

Super friendly staff! I barely had to wait at all which was nice. They have so many really tasty flavors! I ended up getting the lemoreo and chocolate raspberry truffel which was amazing, the chocolate raspberry truffel was almost like a mousse
