The options are non existent compared to most other Hyvee stores. Most of the employees are friendly but there are quite a few that make you want to walk out without what you came for.

RJ and Alex were the best bartenders! They were friendly, helped us with our drink selection, and were always around when needed. Thank you both for the experience, it was greatly appreciated and we hope to see you two again!

This grocery store chain makes me wish I lived in Iowa. We are from Colorado but are in Iowa a few times a year. Hy-Vee always has such an amazing deli, meat, bakery and prepared foods section, so much better than anything back home. It has the best customer service, fresh products, and overall well organized store. I love their floral dept as well.

I dont recommend the pharmacy. Prescriptions are seldom ready when promised. I was there yesterday (8/25/2021) and was told it wasnt there yet and would be ready in one hour. Stopped back today (8/26/2021) and was told still wasnt ready and could come back tomorrow or wait. Waited 15 minutes before it was ready. If I could give you all zero stars I would. Customer service is lacking here.

This location is a smaller hyvee but they are friendly and helpful. The shelves were stocked pretty well.

Ate at the restaurant. Worst experience I have had.our order was at salads and 2 burgers. The salads had ft long leaves not even slightly choped up chunks if cabbage. I ordered breaded Asian salad and got chunks if processed chicken not breaded. The other salads was suppose to get gluten free. Today after 3 days my daughter is still sick as her salad was criss contaminated. The burgers were ok but cold. There was not an other person in there either eating or waiting. On top of all that, it took 1 entire hour to get our food. So disgusted with the entire experience.

Have lived in our community 30 years. Never had a bad experience.

This location has super friendly & helpful staff, & pretty much anything you need! Was super busy the day before Easter & they had plenty of staff & products well stocked. 😊 Well be going back often - worth the 20 mile trip so much better than Knoxville store!

Quality meats and deli and fresh fruits and vegetables, plus Almost restaurant hot foods. However, prices are higher than other grocery stores in the area.

There to just pick up meds. Pharmacy staff is always so friendly and courteous!! Even ran into my grandson who works for HyVee so had a little chat with him while I was there!!

Stopped to pick up flowers for graduation and the associate in the floral area was very helpful and quick, which I really appreciated since I had limited time. The flowers were fresh, and the simple arrangement was exactly what I wanted.

Employees were very helpful. Would have been a five-star experience but employees and customers were still disgruntled with me due to me refusing to wear a mask.

I appreciate that I can get so many things here. I can buy flowers, groceries, prescriptions, and mail my packages.

Good food, but it took a super long time to get it. The ticket times, for all the people ordering, were outrageously way too long.

Never have turkey brats or turkey sausage. I buy all 6 pkg of brats so they order whole box but they dont have friendly people like some of the bigger stores

I live in Bondurant and drove to the Indianola HyVee location for my Covid shot today. As soon as we walked back to the pharmacy, the staff was AMAZING!! They were so friendly and helpful. We got our shots on our scheduled time. Our tech was very nice and the same for the pharmisist that came in. Didnt hurt a bit. Thank you for making this event happen and making us comfortable! Great Job Indianola! 😊👏❤

Waited 38 minutes for breakfast and 2 groups of 4 and 6 were there previous and had not been served. We LEFT and NO one had been served. If you want to an ALL DAY breakfast, SHOW UP EARLY and relax.

It was fast easy and convenient. Also, still a friendly (smile) even though I did take a trip down any of the aisles.

They didnt have anything I needed I had to go to Walmart to get what I needed it sucks cuz Walmarts a long ways away

I called on Monday to arrange for flowers for a funeral on Saturday. I wanted a succulent garden and was lead to believe they had a variety. Late Thursday I received a picture of two aloe type stuck in the middle surrounded by Green Jade type succulents that looked all same. The floral “designer”, I guess, expected That this would honor the celebration of life of a beloved family member. I don’t think so. The container was appropriate and one of the aloe and Jade plants would be ok but it should have had a variety of succulents. I should have received a phone call Much earlier to let me know that your supply of succulents was so dismal and you didn’t make any effort to obtain something. Walmart has a better selection. Very disappointed in customer service at this floral department in Indianola. I have seen much better Service in other Hy-Vees.

Always a pleasant experience.

Disappointed. Got the hyvee chinese #2 combo (2 entrees+1 side for $7.50). I got orange chicken and peppered pork. The peppered pork was literally just 1 piece of pork on top and the rest was just green peppers and onions (see photo). seriously? I am all the way home now and was going to share this with another person but now that is not happening. And its not like Im going to drive back to get another scoop of pork so I guess all I can do is complain on here.

I love Hy- Vee stores! The staff are always kind and yes they are always helpful. If I want them to get a specific item for me they will and keep it in stock. I am grateful to have a store only a mile away.

We are just passing through and had planned to stop for the night at Walmart but they no longer allow RV overnights. Hy-Vee was very accommodating, allowing us to park next to their retaining wall for the night. Since we were there, we went shopping. OMG, loved this store. Not only are my fridge and ice chest fully loaded but we indulged in their restaurant/deli. I had the all you can eat Salad/Fruit/Soup/Taco Bar which was fresh and flavorful at a good price. So much fun to be able to sample so many items. My husband opted for a personalized pizza and he was thrilled. Lots of leftover pizza to squeeze into our fridge.Loved the store. They had the best store deli I have ever been to and hands down the most pleasant and helpful employees. And the fresh donuts........😋.

Online coupons on your perks cards were not working...so had to argue to get them to honor them...made you feel like you were robbing the place....very tired of the perks card not loading coupons or fuel saver amount!!!

Kind employees, help is there if you seek it. Prices are pretty good and store is easy to navigate. Precautions are being taken for Co-vid and are easy to adjust to like wiping down carts, following arrows in aisles, and wearing masks.

Called to pick up my groceries and noone would answer after being transfered 3 times. Then txted the number to get my stuff andwaited a half an hour for them to come out

I didnt feel safe shopping here. Maybe 10% of the people I saw entering and exiting this store were wearing masks. I used to hate Walmart but Ill be shopping there from now on. HyVee doesnt care about its customers safety, plain and simple.

Just recently rearranged the store, so youll spend time going up and down all the aisles to find what youre looking for. Maybe thats why they rearranged.

If you want to learn about a community in Iowa, go the the HyVee. Indy is 15k people and the HyVee has some rare wins, but dont try and buy ground sumac.

Visit was fine until I politely asked the young checker why she wasnt sanitizing her area like all the signs said. She said, cant you let it slide this time which I replied thank you for not being concerned with my health.

I’ve worked in the food industry for awhile now so I tend to keep an eye on staff where we eat.. the service was OK manners are hard to come by and everyone is playing with their hair! Food was pretty good the wait was worth it. Please improve cleanliness!
