WARNING: WINCO IS VERY LAX ABOUT INDOOR MANDATORY MASK USE. I have written two letters and have spoken to management about masking. They have promised to do better and in two years, there is still a very serious problem with multiple vendors and night shift crews blatantly not wearing masks. These individuals make no effort in putting masks on when they see us shopping. This week, we had to go around the mask less in order to stay safe. One nightshift man was operating a floor cleaner and past us and stopped to say hello, but we kept going. He then pulled up a scarf over his face, which the CDC has said is NOT safe. We are both vaccinated X3, but always wear masks as both of us are immunocompromised. Please do not bring your unvaccinated children to this store! It is NOT safe!! Food is the least expensive around and as of 10/21/21, they still have full shelves, but prices continue to rise, though not as rapidly as other grocers. There is a pizza deli, bathrooms are clean. They dont take credit cards, but not a concern for me since I dont use them. They do take debit cards and EBT.

My first time coming to WinCo as an adult, the last time I remember I was like 5 same location also on Jackson st, everything about was nice and comfortable not too packed on a Sunday morning and the employees were welcoming. We decided to try out some fresh donuts at just 68¢ a piece and they were great!! We also got a large supreme pizza with 5 toppings for just 9.98 before taxes. I rate the pizza a strong 8 out of 10 but my gf really loved their veggies on it and gave a 9.5. Will definitely be returning to buy groceries after seeing awesome prices also!! 100% recommendable shopping experience.

BEEN COMING TO THIS STORE SINCE IT OPENED ... Just came across the most rudest worker... Had a simple question about self check out. I NEVER knew it was 15 items or less.. She proceeded to tell me the other employees were just lazy and dont say anything...

Huge props to the overnight associates who keep their calm attitude with us shopping while they work BUT with that said, my cashier(male) was quite rude the last time I was there.Im also a cashier and I understand the hassle of picking up heavy items, so if I offer to hold up the heavy item for them to hand scan it, just do it, or when I ask them to scan by quantities because I had the exact same item 12 times, then I do it for both of our benefits. I do not need to place 12 of the same items on the belt when I clearly dont want to waste yours or my time. Anyways, be nice to us customers, especially those of us who try to make both of our lives easier.Keep up the good work overnight stock team. 👍

Great place but shady workers at night. Dont count on any help from them if something happens in the parking lot. security cameras apparently dont work and there have been a lot of thefts there recently. Hey Chris I hope the money from my wallet was worth it. I guess you needed the money way more than I did.

Great prices and great deals on all food and drink and alcohol items. No credit cards accepted but yes debit and cash. Very clean and acceptable. Will recommend and return.

Not happy, meat is old, they just put blood on it to make it look fresh. Meat smells bad.Edit: bought 3 trays of meat, tossed 3 trays of meat. All bad and smell disgusting. Thanks WinCo.

Horrible experience. Says it is open 24 hours. It may as well be closed due to floor maintenance. I was yelled at 3 times for walking on the floor. No signs. No tape. Nothing warning me of what was going on. This is my first and my last time at this establishment.

I love the food there but it can be a little slippery and i have fallen many times, Love the bakery and fridges areas they have the best food i have even see there. One reason its a four though is because its just kind of far and its not the cleanest i have to be honest but the employees do clean it just other than that its a 4.8 out of 5 i would round it up but its ok. :)

The people who work their, kept following be around the store,Which is very rude! I had a tiny purse, and no way I can shop lift! Iam a minority, thats non Hispanic, I suppose, The people who dont stand out, Have a high chance of shop lifting!, Not someone who openly, that stands out!! Maybe envy, hatred, or strife? I dont know?Plus the store sells some items, that are overpriced compared to other stores, They are not lgbtq friendly, Not English Speaker Friendly also, They were trying to figure if I was a woman or not, on top of it? I wouldnt recommend!

Ever since store opened we have enjoyed the Jalepeno bagels freshly made in bakery. However lately there are so few Jalepeno peppers (just a sliver or two) compared to whole slices on top and inside bagel. You might as well call it a cheese bagel instead. VERY disappointed.

It is the best place to shop. It is cheapest store in town. Plus the bulk foods are great. Plus alot of organic and gluten free products.

The prices are good. They have everything food wise. There are some household items.The selection of feminine products( in everything a woman in all age groups) is very limited and the prices are high on these items. I go to Wal-Mart for all of these items. Also, although they have lots of dry fog foods, the moist foods selection is very limited. I get my Chihuahua Ceasars moist good in cases at Wal-Mart as Winco doesnt have these. They-Winco- have money orders cheapest I have found and their service desk is better than Wal-Mart. The fact that you have to bag your groceries I dont like that much. Im disabled and it takes me a few minutes to get my things bagged and other peoples stuff gets pushed into the place where my stuff is still in. I push the conveyer table to keep my stuff close to me but the other persons stuff gets rammed into mine. The other customers are usually acting all huffy and out out. Some say things right to me, or they say it like to themselves but loud enough to make sure I hear it. And I am trying to get my stuff and keeping an eye out that other people dont take stuff out of mine. That has happened to me lots of times. Also this goes for food 4 less. Wilco employees are always very nice . I like that. I know its to keep costs down having customers bag their own things, but I really dont see how it makes that much difference. Especially now that you have to buy the bags. And how much more time in seconds is it to put items you ring up directly into a bag? The checkers are paid for their work and time so what difference is it bag as you ring up the items. My sister worked in retail for years at a dozen different stores.My daughter worked retail also. I also worked retail at Kmart.I wasnt a cashier, I worked stocking shelves and bagging at the checkstands during Christmas rush the week of Christmas. The very busiest time ever during the year and that is one time that the cashiers really did need help to bag. Otherwise its a real in convenience for me. I feel like since Im do I g half of the cashiers job, I shouldnt have to pay for the bags. The special bags yeah but not the plastic ones at the checkstands. And like someone should be at the exit door giving every person pushing a cart, a five dollar bill for the work they just did.

Ultra-rude staff member at self check-out. She came over to hector my senior citizen mother about exceeding the number of items (even though the number of items was not exceeded and no other customers were around). The employee also said that my mom couldn’t purchase a turkey there, and sighed twice when she had to key-in her manager code when the machine was malfunctioning. It seemed like she was simply lazy and trying to avoid having to do any work. Her name was Marissa. Unacceptably ill-mannered and unpleasant. BEWARE!

Ive been to Winco Foods 45075 because I always ran out of food in 3 days

I was transplanted here from Boston 2 years ago thanks to my golf loving Ca husband. I never saw myself in the desert. The heat kills me Andi long for a nice new fluffy pile of snow to throw myself into.Everyone there at wincos is fabulous. At the front Deb, Tessie, Marisa in Delhi is excellent. Tammy always helpful. Otis 👍🏻 I wish I could remember the Gal in the fish section. I am usually there early, 9-10. She seasons and cuts the fish not perfection. Also is her name Andrea, ast mgr? Very professional, very courteous-staff. Love shopping there ..

Ill admit, I love WinCo Foods. I find the shopping experience to be pleasant with excellent prices and dry helpful and friendly employees. This makes sense as WinCo is employee owned, so happy customers translate to bigger checks.Two areas deserve special mention. The produce section it large with outstanding quality and very low prices. The bulk food section is very large and carries everything you would expect and more. Things like spices and dog treats. Jelly Bellys and French lentils. All at excellent prices.Finally, the label everything as red, yellow, or green. Most are yellow for reasonable prices, but some are red for unusually expensive or green for low prices. I find these labels fair and accurate and always check them.

I first visited a WinCo store when I was on vacation in Oregon back in the mid 90s. I was so impressed and I was so happy when they started opening them here in California. I love this store! its always clean its very neat they have wide aisles and they are never out of anything I have ever gone to buy. They have a great deli where you can find an enormous selection of luncheon meat, prepared salads, fried, roasted and rotisserie chicken. And many others hot and prepared foods. I highly recommend their chicken strips! Their seafood is always fresh and they have a sale on them quite often. They also have a huge selection of help yourself bin items such as candy nuts cereal pasta flour sugar etc etc. You name it theyve got it! They also have a Leonardos Pizza where you can order a pizza or a sandwich etc and pick up after you are finished shopping. I know I sound like a paid spokesperson but on my honor, I am not. I am just a very loyal WinCo shopper who appreciates being treated with respect and loves to save money, because their prices are very competitive and I highly recommend this store!!

So I have to start off with giving Megan a shout out, we were at WinCo maybe little over a month ago, and my daughter accidentally lost her AirPods (they must have fallen out of her pockets. ) so a random man found them and returned to Megan (thank you sir) they have a pink cover and as the man was telling Megan he found them a young girl was behind them listening, and had the nerve to tell her they were hers!😱😨 wow! So thankfully MEGAN quickly reacted covered the AirPods and asked her what color they were! The embarrassment she went through there for LYING!!! Thank God for her and the man who found them and also the tracking we knew they were still in the store . But if it weren’t for her reaction they would have been long gone and we would have been on the hunt and do unnecessary moves because the little girl LIED they were Hers! SO THANK YOU SO MUCH!!So Ever since I moved to Indio WinCo has been my go to grocery store, I would go to Cardenas the first months then when I finally went to WinCo I was like I can’t believe I’ve been wasting my money buying expensive food at Cardenas ALL this time! Good prices EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! And I don’t only say this because thanks to Megan... but they really do have excellent customer service! All the employees are extremely nice !

WinCo is the best for unique items! I love buying the candy and supplies in bulk. A great way to start your extra food pantry or emergency food supply here. Food buckets, moisture packs, dehydrated beans, and more. Cast iron soup pots with handles for only $30, perfect for the campfire, and Shepherds Pie. Did I mention their gummy bears are the best too:)

Very nice clean store that seemed very well stocked with many items but was disappointed in the fact have to watch calories and sugar intake and did not see any low calorie salad dressings to go with all the nice veggies you had in the store l. Also didnt see any sugar free, low fat items.Also nice variation in help your self section of items but no sugar free or fat free. Also concerned with the low bins and putting dirty hands of children and adults.

Best prices in the valley. Cheaper than Walmart, better selection and much friendlier employees. Makes a difference when the employees own a stake in the company. Its their money they miss out on when employees dont wow their customers and have them as repeat customers.

Plus they have a WONDERFUL selection on everything else, and its priced extremely well. Thats why the parking lot is always so packed!Worth the trip from the Morongo Basin Area because of the great deals, bulk items, and items that other stores just dont carry any more. This is the best grocery store in the valley. Great discounts, friendly staff, and easy to find items. There is a great self service area where you can bag your own nuts, candies and cereals. There is a deli, bakery, and pizza place inside. Highly recommended.

THEY DON’T TAKE CREDIT CARDS! Prepared food is low quality, high fat greasy stuff. Watch out for restocking at night, with employees delighting in zooming around on forklifts, terrifying late night shoppers. A dingy, cluttered, unpleasant shopping experience.

Great prices..BUT they have these Grocery Carts that have locking devices when the cart leaves the building. I have $300 full cart of groceries. The cart locks up on me not more than 5 parking spots out the front door. I have to use all my strength and drag the cart three more spots to my car to be unloaded. Now my back hurts! I call the store, but they dont care. They would send someone out!...REALLY wait for someone while my icecream melts! Who thought this one through at Winco. Hopefully nobody said this was a good idea.Another customer was having the same issue in the parking lot. Luckily there was two of them. One had to bring the car to the cart.Management should carefully examine whether this was the most stupid idea to inconvenience their customers.

This is the best market in the west. Go ahead, draw pardner! Great prices and selection and most importantly for us a full bulk foods section that is hard to find these days. To top it off, that employee that asks if you need any help also co-owns the store!

I used to shop at WinCo in Portland, OR. Great prices and product. Amazing the layout of the store here is exactly the same as in Portland. I knew where everything was and I will drive the 20-minute drive from Cathedral City to shop there.

I just recently began shopping at this store, and I recommend it highly. The great attraction is the prices, which are generally lower than any other market, including Walmart. The employees are unfailingly friendly, always asking if you need helping finding something. Its ridiculous to rate an entire store on the basis of one phone call that didnt go ones way. If youre looking for bargains (and who isnt these days?), shop here!

Ive been shopping at this Winco since the day they opened. I use to shop at Stater Bros., but they have gotten so expensive and I have never had a bad piece of meat from Winco. The store is always clean and neat and the most important thing is they sell The best sourdough bread I have ever eaten. Their bagels are awesome as well and they have a great bulk food department.
