Having recently moved back from Australia, I was craving a simple honest delicious satisfying and authentic Aussie meat pie! This place didn’t disappoint in fact it is an experience of epic culinary proportions topped only by the fact is local, affordable, and awesome crust. Will definitely come back. Owner Mr. Bishop has got something here. Only open for lunch and every new comer left satisfied and full. Give it a go...I said so!

This spot is very unexpected. My co worker and I were just looking for a Midway spot between Torrance and west La and Google maps recommended this place to us. No meat pies in the morning but fresh yummy lattes and hearty delicious quiches. They have Sriracha and all the fixings. We were very satisfied. Cant wait to go back at lunch and try the meat pies.

This place is a great little hole in the wall. The interior is really nice and inviting. Naomi at the register was absolutely lovely, friendly and so helpful. She guided us through the whats and the wheres and happily made recommendations as to what to mix with what. We ended up getting the Thai Curry chicken with Mashed potatoes and chicken gravy, and the steak and shiraz with the sausage and chicken gravy. The pies where so flakey and soft. The meats were hearty and packed with flavor. I could have easily ate another one. I definitely plan on passing by here again in the future.

I really liked the lamb, it had the perfect amount of gamey flavor, but it was pricey, so not something I can get regularly. Also had a taste of the other pies, but after having the lamb, the others were just okay to me. The others I tried were (once again keep in mind I only had a bite of each and it was after having the lamb): classic Aussie (lacked flavor, kind of just mush), Thai curry (a little too sweet, wouldnt want to eat a pies worth), chicken terragon (classic chicken pie flavor), kale and feta (I liked the crunchy crust), and mashed potatoes (pretty good).

Good tasting pies, but $20 bucks for lunch is a bit much. Each side is upwards of $4.75, and drinks start at 3.75. In their defense the pies are small, but filling.

I am so happy I found this place. I had the lamb pie and it was amazing. The customer service is excellent. I was immediately greeted when I walked in by the owner who took the time to explain the menus to me as well as offer samples of the sides the offer. I have to say it is a little pricey but well worth it. This small pie shoppe restaurant is definitely a must visit restaurant for anyone who wants something different with great flavor and fast, friendly service.

I had the Porky BBQ and it was delicious! The stuffing was great and the gravy has mushrooms in it. The prices are fair because the pies are filling. Every one here was absolutely kind and helpful. Cool vibe too.

Best coffee! Also the pies are great but I come here for coffee as often as I can. I love the Surfers, Madras, and the Chicken Tarragon the best, but theyre all pretty good. The staff know us now, Im in there so much. The pies are quite substantial, so I actually share a plate of pie, mash and thyme gravy with my dude.

As an Aussie, I saw this place as I flew by in a cab to my hotel and was pretty sure Id love it when I made my way back...and it was better than Id expected. I took two American coworkers along and wasnt sure theyd get it but they chowed down and loved it too. These pies are definitely a step up from the classic street pies found Down Under. Foodies, you owe it to yourselves to give it a go! Simple decor, no alcohol (maybe someday), just bloody good tucker, mate!

Small but full of flavour! Fantastic food and friendly people. The pies are very rich, so theyre good to share between two people. The bbq pork pie is fantastic - topped with gooey mac and cheese, its awesome! They also sell an imported Australian coffee, def worth a try. The location is small, so you wont be hanging out with a bunch of people inside, and the parking is ultra tight, so it may be easier to park on street vs. in the parking lot. If youre looking for some super tasty food - youve got to try Aussie Pie Kitchen!Pro tip - if you visit, theyll kindly suggest you try a sample. Take them up on it!

Great service as soon as we walked in. They let us taste all of the sides before ordering. We had a group of four and we tried the steak, curry, bbq pork, and vegetarian pies and they all had really good flavor. Left tummy full and wallet empty... the sides are quite expensive... $4 for a small scoop of mashed potatoes...

Delicious pies and friendly service! I love that the mushy peas still look like peas and taste like peas, and not unidentifiable goop.Tips:- There is an underground parking structure with more (covered!) parking. Entrance is just a few feet north on Aviation and marked by Subway and Aussie Pie Kitchen signs.- And! You get 10% off if youre in the neighborhood for jury duty and show them your juror ID badge (which I didnt know about until after Id eaten and another person walked in with his. Oh well, live and learn!)

First time there and have never ate there and I told them that.. but if I didnt ask for things they didnt offer it to me.. like there drinks.. I asked is there a drink selection then she told me about the Aussie drinks.. then asked for discounts or coupons then she gave me the coupon sheet. It was not busy.. at 230p.. food a bit over priced and pies in Aussie are a lot bigger... Overall o.k.

I just don’t understand what is happening with all the good reviews, the taste and the quality of the pie don’t deserve a 5 star for sure! I ordered the classic ground beef pie, which is a big mistake, the meat is as dry as the shell, no flavor, and the size is really small, don’t worth $10! It’s just a waste of my money. Maybe I’m just a unlucky guy who accidentally ordered the only bad tasting pie, which I highly doubt, anyway, I don’t think I’m ever gonna try it again.

We ordered here from Grubhub. The order came and was missing one pie. I called and told them of my issue. Winnie, I believe her name was, got a hold of her boss an came up with a plan to make up for the mistake. She came out to my location, not using the Grubhub driver, after closing time and brought three pies with some extra sides. That was going the extra mile for customer satisfaction. The pies were great as well.
