This park has gone downhill fast. The manager is never around. I cannot believe the way some of these houses look....its disgusting! This community use to be beautiful, sadly not anymore. This is now becoming a trailer park!

I recently traveled to Michigan and was looking for a home. I am not much for the city but I do like to be close. I found this mobile home, It was quiet, not to much traffic, found it to be almost country. Very nice

Decent place to live. It is hard to get things fixed. We have had to fix a few things ourselves after the first gold key inspection because we literally could not shut two bedroom doors and they said they would be back the next week. Yes communities seems to be trying to fix the lack of maintenance so we will see what happens. New maintenance staff seems nice.

This is a trailer park. It is so sad to see this happen after it being a beautiful community just a few months ago. Sad to see the unkept grounds, no flowers anywhere, weeds everywhere, and the best is that no one cares. Just run it in the ground. Horrible manager never in the office. Wonder if the owner knows this info, well he does now!

This place has went down hill since New management took over. The water is so bad again. Grounds are not kept up anymore. Sad cause it was very nice.

Lived here 4 years. Paid all rent on time, kept lot and home perfect. Management wouldn’t address any problems was always an excuse no solution . Had Christmas lights outside cut up. Had items stolen. Seen police in the park two-three times a week. Had people walking thru back yard. Management will tell you anything to get you in. Rules say dogs are to be leashed at all times with owner. Management will tell you different to get you to move in, and when someone reports your dog loose, you get a write up. This kind of stuff goes on constantly. Management asking neighbors about their neighbors. Telling who they just wrote up. We sold and thankfully moved out. Typical trailer park. Rent first, to see how it really is after a year. People living in different areas of the park don’t see a lot of what goes on. Cops in the park regularly. I never felt safe after I seen them at 2am with tracking dogs. On its way down. Three owners and 4 managers. No one wants it!

Every time Ive ever came in contact with the staff they were knowledgeable and the park was very nice and it seems like an all inclusive very nice.... One of my friends live there if I was to move to that city I would definitely look at this as Option..... The receptionist there is super friendly and knowledgeable... Has a great phone voice...

Great place to start a family. Very personable management with a quick process to move in. Proud of their community and well maintained. New play ground equipment pool always looks nice. Clean community with easy access to shopping. Quick to respond to residents concerns. Just a great community all around.

What a great community to live in, I can not believe how amazing this place has been and how much it has been upgraded from the past. I hope things keep looking up with the new manager. The office staff has always been so friendly!

It amazes me on how much this place has changed. The management we currently have are the most caring and understanding people. It took a minute to get used to some new rules. So happy to be living here.

What a beautiful Community. Kudos to whomever clears the roads, so much snow but the roads are clear. Picked up floor plans from the office for the new homes coming in March. The girls in the office are willing to help.

We have lived in Ionia for years and I recently drove through Canterbury Estates and was very impressed with how beautiful it is. The police chief told my husband to drive through because it has changed so much in the last couple years. He was right, it is wonderful.

Love living here as it is very quiet and everyone seems to be respectful and friendly. The park is very well kept and the amenities are always clean. The manager, Lori is very helpful, informative, and caring. Would definitely recommend as a peaceful and great place to call home.

Audra is great! Every sence she took over everything I need done gets done in a timely fashion! Had several things needed fixed that kept getting pushed off before she took over. Thank you so much!

We have lived here in the Community for almost 10 years and have never had an issue with management. Rules are set for a reason and those that choose not to follow are the issue. Look at this Community, it speaks for itself. Beautiful!

Great community with great staff and management team. Always friendly and willing to help. Great amenities with a clean community while driving. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet clean place to live.

I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. We pay a ridiculous amount in rent and our back steps have been rotted since we moved in. I’m terrified my boyfriends son will fall through them. I’m currently inpatient at the hospital and my boyfriend has came to see me after work and they’re saying they are going to charge us and mow our lawn tomorrow. This wasn’t expected and the last thing I’m worried about is the grass right now. One of our car tires was in the grass once and they literally called us at work and said we were “going to get write up”.It’s like being in highschool again. They drive around and find things to complain about. I can NOT wait for our lease to end. The NASTIEST water I’ve ever seen as well. I won’t even give my dogs tap water.

Lived here 5 years ago, what a nice place. There were not but 80 homes left in there. It’s fillin up now.

Shower has been clogged and will Not drain. Moved in on the first of April and were told maintenance won’t enter because of covid 🙄. Why in the hell wasn’t it taken care of before we moved in on the first? She told us try a coat hanger. The hanger is way to big for the drain. Also we purchased a beautiful gazebo so we could have some backyard privacy, and enjoy dinner in the shade this summer. We were than called a week later and asked to take our “tent” down I told her that it’s not a tent, it’s a gazebo with a privacy curtain than she said if we had a deck we could have it, I mentioned that it’s on a concrete slab that was there when we moved in and we staked it in the ground and still she asked us to remove it. We can have an umbrella though psh gtfo!!! Our first impression is less than satisfactory.

Love this place! If you want a wonderful community, you found it. Moved from California and couldn’t be happier!

The community is beautiful! But the management is a joke, the managers are some of the most backward, hypocritical people I have ever met. They used to give me citations for working on my car in my driveway. Very nosy people!! Don’t recommend living here.

Great experience when moving in and working through paperwork. A lot of communication making everything easier.

The management is rude and pretentious. I received bad service at an automotive store because we noticed we lived in the same development. The store associate continued to vent about the mutual property managers. I sympathized with their strife as I know it all to well but just wanted my product and to leave. The toxicity of how they conduct things interferes with my life even outside of their development.

This community is beautiful, well maintained. I Love the clubhouse and office renovations.

Very quiet place, beautiful. Management is excellent.

I lived there for a year and had the best neighbors. There is a sense of community and everyone looks out for each other. Great location in Ionia, very safe. It was wonderful renting a brand new mobile home. The pool and fitness center were nice to use before Covid but are slowly opening back up to residents. Great place for kids and older adults. Would recommend.

My experience has been nothing but poor. This place is not where i want to live for sure. Office is very difficult to deal with.

Shout out to Management for the great job on the roads this winter, as always. Im proud to live here!

We have lived here since July 2019 and we love it! The management is wonderful! The pictures that show a park in distress are very selective if not staged. Whenever I have gone to the management with concerns I have been treated with respect and my issues have been delt with in a timely manner. I am so very grateful for Matt and Lori, I am so very thankful to live here.

As a newly single woman adventuring out on her own, Lori has been nothing been a god send to me. I was nervous and not really knowing what to expect about moving. She set my mind at ease and I took a step forward. Happy to say I’m glad I did! Can’t wait to be a part of the Canterbury community! Great job and huge thanks to Lori and the whole team! A beautiful affordable place to call “home”

I would like to let the owners know that we have lived here in the park for over 9 years and all I have to say is Wow! Matt & Laurie are doing a fabulous job! The park looks better than it ever has. Its nice to have managers that care and go over and beyond. Nice work!

We have been here almost 12 years and we love living here. Close to so many things, schools, hospital, shopping, work and expressway. Lori and Matt have been doing a great job of adding new homes, cleaning up and are very friendly and courteous. I like how they are doing the site inspections and having the residents clean up and repair their homes. Also like the new concept of the wristbands for the pool, will help keep tabs on uninvited guests.

Canterbury Estates is such a beautiful place to live!! We have new managers who are doing a lot for our community! Lots of new homes have been brought in. The neighbors are friendly and there are many opportunities for social events. We have penny bingo every week, euchre card game night, out for breakfast once a month to name a few. Keep up the good work Lori and Matt!!

Canterbury Estates is okay. But it used to have much better management and maintenance staff! The staff used to care about their residents. Now all theyre worried about is their bottom line. They dont flush the water as they should, so we have yellow water quite often. They also dont take care of the empty lots or trim trees as they should. They let the companies who bring in homes drive over the residents lawn and the maintenance people never come back to take care of the residents lawns or trees or bushes. Theres a pool here and theyve changed the rules and created impossible ones that people cannot follow and are ridiculous. If I hadnt already been living here I would definitely pick a different spot to live and call home. But I do appreciate the neighbors that live around me. I have some of the best Neighbors on Earth!

We now have new owners of the park here in Ionia, new managers also Mat and Lori are doing a Great job here, New homes are being brought in now also; its Great to see this park starting to grow now. Its exciting to drive thru the park again and seeing new folks coming into the park. Take a drive around sometime see what is here, its nice here!

People in this park are nosey and rude. The rules change without notice. People in charge disrespectful. Things are stolen and/or broken. People mess with others trailers at night. The only thing that is decent about here is that it looks nice.

There are certain people here that try to run the park but the new managers are buckling down and trying to clean things up. The park does look allot nice now that people are being forced to clean there lots up. Overall its a quiet community.

I must have made them mad now they wont speak to me lol what a worthless placeManagement will lie to you about everything we still have brown water management doesnt fix anything and if you really want to offend them ask for a receipt when you pay your rent every month I am told they cant give me one
