I recently went here to purchase flowers for a staff member whose brother had past. He was really into Harley Davidson and I wanted to cater to this interest. I called and spoke with Tammy and let me just say she was awesome! The arrangement that she made was absolutely beautiful!!! My staff member and her family were just in love with the arrangement and I couldnt be more impressed with the customer service! Thank you Tammy!!! I will only be shopping here in the future.

Very much an ableist business- refused to help my disabled mother with an exchange. She was struggling to care for one of her plants because of physical demands required to help it grow. She was hoping to exchange it for a plant that she could care for within her physical abilities and the owner told her it wasn’t her fault that she couldn’t take care of a plant on her own. Don’t NOT support this business!

I usually dont like to write negative reviews about business online but this one is warranted. My husband decided to send me flowers for my birthday. I get this phone call from the delivery guy who is yelling at me (on my birthday) for not picking up his phone call when I was in class and could not answer. And because of that I needed to go pick them up myself? I am not complaining about the quality of product I received but the terrible service I was given without having done anything wrong. A nice surprised ruined. I would not recommend.

The ladies at Flowerama were friendly and helpful when choosing flowers for my friend’s wedding. They also made a beautiful white flower arrangement for the unity candle which turned out just like the bride wanted.

Using flowers.com has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had.Ordered flowers to be delivered on Friday 11/6 for a sad, time sensitive family issue. Never arrived and 2 phone calls to customer service resolved nothing. Then spent ONE HOUR on a chat on Saturday morning, also to no avail. No flowers arrived Saturday either. Sunday morning at 7:45 received a call saying they no longer had the product, and tried to sell me a more expensive substitute. Canceled the order.Will never use this company again. Would NOT recommend!

When I called to order an arrangement for a visitation the person was wonderful and patient with my questions and requests. In addition to the Cardinal stone I ordered for the arrangement, some cardinal birds were thoughtfully added without my asking. I was extremely pleased with what beautiful arrangement it turned out to be! Your thoughtfulness and talent is obvious and appreciated. I would recommend 100%!!

Crooks! I wanted to know why I was being charged a shipping fee for a local florist delivery. I get every reason under the sun. Did you know that cookies have to be shipped Fedex since they come from a grower? That is what I was told. Plus they couldn’t even give me the tracking number! Just Ridiculous. Just another way to rip off the customer. Can’t wait to see how the flowers look. They better be exactly the way I ordered them, all the way down to the vase!!! Done ordering from you!

I purchased a beautiful mixed arrangement on mothers day that lasted a week. I have been shopping at Flowerama for years because I like supporting local businesses. However, I was quite disappointed to see no employees wearing masks, no hand sanitizer provided at check-out counter, far too many customers in the store for the size of the store — not practicing social distancing. The woman who assisted me was mid-fifties, I believe she is the store owner. I had asked her if other arrangements would be available later in the day and was met with a snarky response about shortages due to COVID-19. This is totally understandable but I did not appreciate her rudeness attached to the explanation. I will not be shopping here again due to the rude management and lack of sanitation.

Just had an amazing experience working with Caitlyn. She was so patient while we had to work through the logistics of a special hospital delivery. She was thoughtful, polite and so very helpful. I have ordered many bouquets and plants to send to friends and family. They have always been happy with what they have received. I usually have a coupon for a free vase that helps with the cost.

Today was my second experience with this company. They went above and beyond to help me find the right potted succulents over the phone from out of state. Both times the delivered product was beautiful and in great shape. I couldn’t be more pleased with this shop and the employees who helped me!

Ordered a bouquet by phone today for delivery to a friend in IA City, and had a great experience with the Flowerama folks. They were friendly to deal with on the phone and were considerate of the price range I mentioned. The delivery was right on time when it needed to be and, judging from the photo my friend sent afterwards, theyd created a lovely arrangement. Id definitely recommend them.

Picked over nothing worth huying

Today is my 21st birthday and the first time Ive ever received flowers. My fiances wonderful mother bought some to have delivered to me. They called me at 12:30 telling me they would arrive in a couple hours. I didnt have anywhere to be, so that was fine. At 4:30, I decided to call and check in. I was told the delivery guy just picked them up and was on his way. Almost an hour later, I got a call from the store that ended after one ring. I took that as my call to head downstairs since I was told he would call when he arrived. I get down and am greeted in a very rude manner. He asked me if I had been on my phone the whole time or just wasnt paying attention at all.. I was confused. He said he had been downstairs calling me for 20 minutes and asked someone else who lives in my apartment building to try to contact me. He was SO unbelievably rude to me. I felt horrible because I thought maybe I just didnt have signal and missed his calls. I got upstairs and realized they wrote down the wrong contact number on the card. The number he had been trying to call was 1 digit off from mine. I called and spoke with Tamy the owner. I apologized for the confusion and told her that he had been trying to call the wrong number. I also let her know that he was very rude. She apologized and said that he had the number that they were given. Wrong. They had the right number seeing as they had called me earlier in the day and I answered right away. Someone wrote down the wrong number and that caused a lot of confusion. Mistakes happen, I understand this. Their driver apparently does not, nor does he have any patience at all. The flowers are gorgeous, but the driver ruined this whole experience for me.

. This will be the 1st time that I have ever posted a negative comment on a business. Very poor quality flowers. Insanely rude interaction over the phone. I have never been hung up on in my life. Extremely negative experience. I absolutely do not recommend doing business with a company that talks to their customers like this.

Flowerama of Iowa City created amazing custom flowers for our booth at the 2015 Iowa Wedding Expo this year. It was the icing on the cake and really pulled the wedding themed booth together. We cant say enough good things about the owner Tamy and her helpful crew.

Yesterday I was the recipient of a bouquet from Flowerama from Iowa City, IA which my significant other purchased in the store. Adorable bouquet with daisies and yellow roses. Today, only ONE day later, the roses are browned and dry at the tips of the petals. I checked the foam base and it was still moist (no water necessary). Very disappointing product.P.S. And isnt it interesting that the other reviews (Joseph O. and Sarah R.) are nearly IDENTICAL? Says something about a business when those related to it post their own reviews....

It makes me sad to write this review, as I have been going to Flowerama to get our senior flowers for about 10 years now, and because they were always so nice and helpful, I would go to them for all of my flower needs. I have always purchased the larger bouquets and then had them split them into smaller bouquets. I have always paid the extra for water tubes or filler to make the bouquets nice. I was told today that they can no longer do any other service, except wrap bouquets as they come out of the case. I was very rudely told that I could pay the per bouquet price for what I wanted, and I should consider myself lucky because they should be charging valentine prices already. I totally understand the need to make money at their business, but I do not understand the rudeness and sacrificing business, essentially over 8 pieces of wrapping paper. The experience was bad enough that I felt compelled to write this, I will never purchase anything there ever again and I will tell everyone I know to not go there either.

Tamy and the girls at the shop are fantastic will continue to get my flowers from them for years to come!

My boyfriend got me a customized bouquet of Roses/Sunflowers. Well for $55, I got 3 tiny tiny, unbloomed, shrivel up sunflowers and then one big sunflower & 3 roses. for $55, we could have gotten bouquets at aldis or hyvee that was better than this. When he picked it up, they said this was the only selection they had. When we called to complain, the worker was VERY rude, said she made the bouquet and the sunflowers will bloom. Welp ive only had the bouquet for 4 days and its been getting sunlight and the sunflowers are still shriveled up and look like they are about to dry out. If this was all they had, they should have called and offered something else considering sunflowers arent in season right now instead of taking the money. On another note: no order # was given. WILL NEVER BUY FROM HERE. Will be calling the corporate administration office.

Called in an order to be sent to UIHC, I didnt know the patients room#, told them I would find out and call back. They had the beautiful bouquet already delivered before I could get back to them. Very friendly staff!
