Good service at first it didn’t seem that the mechanic wanted to help but then the mechanic got the vehicle in right away and got everything fixed for a decent price. Looked over and inspected the vehicle and got a quote on other stuff that could be fixed also. Had a flat tire and got it in and put a new tire on. I usually go to Goodyear but this was right by where the flat tire was noticed so decided to go in. Definitely not a bad place though. Seems to have a similar customer base and servicing as Goodyear.

Ver disappointing when you go in buy 4 new tires wanted alignment but then told there was several issues & they couldnt until we paid to get those fixed. after tires were installed we took it to a dealership to have complete check inspection. This dealership is a family member who made sure after replacing the parts Firestone said were bad to be certain we were safe all was completely checked. They replaced parts that Firestone found. Took back to Firestone for alignment & after having in up awhile they claimed the work done was bad & refused to do alignment. This was no accident that the parts replaced by the dealership suddenly were loose & faulty after they had possession of it!It is clear they were not happy we had someone else replace the parts they wanted to charge a higher price for. What Firestone didnt know was at the dealership a family member over saw the work done & inspected entire car for our safety. The vehicle is back at the dealership for inspection of what was done and said at Firestone.NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS. IF U MUST GO have your vehicle inspected elsewhere first! Keep documents

Very pleased with the service here, with my work schedule being able to get car service on the weekends is a huge plus. They got my car working much better and there wasnt a long wait. They were fully transparent about prices and how much everything would cost. The person who helped me today, Kaylee, was fantastic and went above and beyond to find a part in town that my car needed. I also appreciate that they take Covid precautions very seriously unlike some other auto shops in town. All together, great service!

The people who helped me were very friendly so this is nothing against them. However, I took a vehicle there for an alignment and some overheating/misfire issues. After the alignment my car still pulled to one side and they said it was something mechanical. I took it to another shop and they did another alignment and the steering is like brand new, they said it just wasnt tightened completely. This concerns me for a lot of reasons obviously. As for the overheating/misfire issues, firestone wouldnt even touch it and told me the car didnt have much life left in it. I do a little mechanic work myself and something didnt line up with their story. It sounded to me like the mechanic had some sort of hatred for my specific make and model and didnt want to work on it. The other shop I took it to flushed the coolant system and changed the injectors and everything runs like brand new. It was kind of stressful being told that my car with 94000 miles on it was at the end of its life, not to mention all the money I lost to them as a college student trying to work and study. While it was a big financial setback, my car now has plenty of life left in it and I know where not to take it next time.

I have gone here for several things over the last several months because the location is convenient and I did not have another choice. Customer service is not very helpful. They charge very high prices in general- especially on diagnostic tests just to discover that the problem is very easy to solve. I had my windshield wiper blades replaced here and the next day, one of my wipers wasnt moving. I went back in and was charged $20 for them to inspect my windshield wipers just to discover that it was a bolt that needed tightened. I was told a battery replacement would be $250, went to another place to get a quote and was told it would be $120. There are definitely better places to go to get better service at a cheaper price.

They told me I needed to pay 350 for them to fix a stripped drain plug.. because theyd need special tools to take it off and I likely needed an oil pan.I went to Spendler Auto and they told me that the plug was just loose from my last oil change..So firestone basically lied to me about it being stripped just to get money. A 350 dollar inspection ended up costing 30$ at spendler.I wouldnt trust them.I usually go to firestone for an inspection because I used to highly trust the one in San Antonio for diagnostics.. but Id pay another mechanic to fix it because itd be cheaper..I wouldnt trust this location even for a diagnosis.I recommend Spendler. Also this is after I paid 100 for a complete car inspection.. so its just an all around bum deal. They did a repair on my car and it feels better but not 100% fixed so now Ill be double checking their work as well. Not being able to trust my local Firestone is a disappointment.

Customer Service was fantastic.Job completed in a timely manner and to my satisfaction. Dee J not only made me but all customers feel welcome and that they are all important. She was very knowledgeable and kept me informed of services and progress being done. She also recommended other services available through the Firestone Store. I was very pleased with the service that I called back on the way home to the store to let Dee and her staff know how pleased and how well the car performed. After a weekend of moving my daughter into her apartment in Iowa City, I discovered a completely flat tire on my vehicle just as I was getting ready to head back to Missouri. It was Sunday at 4:30pm. Roadside assistance came to put the spare tire on and Alex at Firestone assured me he would stay after closing time and wait for me to arrive to help me in the situation. He was wonderful. He was the only one still there and he put a new tire on for us so we could get back home. We are so thankful for his willingness to stay late on a Sunday evening to help us out. Thank you, Alex!

Before moving to Iowa City I always used Firestone for my car service needs. Sadly all Firestone locations do not offer the same professional service. Back in June 2019 after just recently moving to the area, I scheduled an oil change at this location. Everything seemed normal and the individual at the desk was extremely friendly. After expressing some concern about the condition of my brakes, the employee said they would give them an inspection. Sure enough he came back and told me that all my brake pads were in critical condition and that it was recommended to do a $400 replacement. I told the employee I would consider it later and proceeded to head home. Upon arriving home I noticed that the miniature replica Nebraska helmet that used to sit on my rear dashboard was smashed to pieces on my rear seat. Even if it was to roll off during the oil change, there was no way it would have been in the condition I found it. I gave Firestone a call and was told that no manager was present at the time and that they would inform the manager of the incident tomorrow and to expect a call. That call never came and since then I have found far better places to take my business here in town. Extremely disappointed that someone was petty enough to do this. To add to this wonderful experience, when I took my car in for a second opinion on my brakes at another establishment in town, they stated that my pads looked wonderful and had another 30,000 miles potentially on them.

Was told by several friends not to use this particular Firestone location for anything, not even an oil change but I figured how hard is it to mess up an oil change? (To their credit they didn’t mess up the 1st two) but I (a student living in Iowa City during times of the year) received an oil change that apparently wasn’t completed properly and I had old engine oil leaking unto my driveway back home for roughly 2 months. I figured it was a costly issue and decided to wait those 2 months before taking it into a Midas where I was relieved to be informed that it wasn’t a costly issue but rather the previous oil change wasn’t cleaned up and it was just old oil leaking. I paid the $57 to get it cleaned up in Des Moines (where I live when not at school) 2 months after the oil change from this Firestone location. Today I called in hopes of them offering to pay to fix their mistake or even a $25 gift card/reimbursement for the original botched oil change (yes 4 months later because I planned on driving to the location and handling this in person with pictures from under the vehicle and my stained driveway but Covid-19 happened and I had no reason to go back to campus in Iowa City) but instead the store manager Dee who had been a delight the first two interactions reacted as if I was out of mind. My thought to be engine leak turned out to be their mistake (engine no longer leaks and I park in the garage) but she responded deflecting any possible blame. If I knew how to change oil I probably wouldn’t be taking my car to get one, and no work has been done to the vehicle since Midas cleaned up the mess. So leak after oil change from your business, get leak fixed (cleaned up) and car no leaky anymore??? A 5 year old would be able to point a finger of blame/cause in this scenario. Long story short I figured how hard is it to mess up an oil change? and apparently the answer is “not too hard” for this location. I am due for an oil change (which triggered me to call them today!!) and I will definitely not be going back!

My review is for oil changes only. If you want a quick oil change, this is not the place to go. My criteria is done right, done quick, no messing around and preferably no appointment necessary. Firestone requires an appointment, it took 1.5 hours to do the oil change, they preceded to spend 10 minutes explaining what had been done and what needed to be done. As far as I know it was done properly...only time will tell. It drives me NUTS when I take my car in for an oil change and they try to sell other services. I prefer places that finish in 20 minutes including vacuumed, tire pressure check and fluids topped. This is just not that. Wish I knew where that place would be in Iowa City because this was a time waste! Also, the people working were not super customer friendly. The TV show playing was not appropriate for a public space...and really not appropriate for my 7 year old. Im not sure what it was but it included profanity and sex jokes. In short, in my experience (400,000 miles and counting), this is the worse place Ive been for an oil change.

Utterly disappointed by the services & I will not be returning.Ive spent quite a fair bit at the Firestone Iowa city but today they have lost my trust and therefore I will not be returning again. They have clearly proven to me that honesty is not their best policy.I travel a lot and had a flat tire a few months back. I went over this branch to change it and right after they changed it I realized my steering wheel was curving slightly to the left when I drove. So I PAID for a FULL car inspection at this branch and the reports came back as completely fine. Now Im not a car expert so I trusted them but I had a slight doubt in mind.Several months later (today) I went over to get an Oil change (just an oil change). All of a sudden, I was told my 3 tires are damaged and needs to be changed because of an alignment issue that occurred a while back. So I asked and said how did it happen and the guy at the front desk clearly told me multiple times that he has no clue and it could be literally anything his words. He mentioned to me that he could only tell me what was told by his mechanic and I would have to pay for an Alignment check if Id like to find out more (I mean all 3 of them at the same time? Come on, there has to be a common denominator issue). Nevertheless, I asked why wasnt I warned about this during the last time I PAID for a FULL inspection, he shrugged his shoulders and again said this is all I know. He showed me that he clearly did not care, it was my problem now, and he & his team was not able / not willing to do anything about it.Being a Manager myself, I understand the importance of being transparent to the customer as well as treating them with care. Any business that does not show these characteristics should not be around. I dont usually write reviews but this really ticked me off. I personally dont think this branch deserves anymore of my business & I will be not be returning to this branch particularly. Thank you for all the oil change.I strongly will not recommend if youre planning on doing anything other than an oil change.

From brakes to engine/transmission rebuilds and replacement. I do not however possess alignment equipment. The vehicle brought to Firestone was older and equipped with many new parts throughout. Upon receiving my receipt and vehicle the overall condition was thoroughly noted on the recipet. It was very accurate and honest. The vehicle only needed an alignment and a brake light bulb. And thats all that was noted. Very honest people. Will be back.

Friendly service and helpful when I went in to get an oil change and general maintenance. I later had issues with the work that was done - the oil change for the incorrect vehicle model was performed on my car. My car has a 6-cylinder engine and the oil change for the 4 cyl was performed. I verified the correct car model was listed on my receipt and then saw the oil change showed the lower viscosity and lower volume of oil associated with the 4 cyl model. My oil light came on a few weeks later when the car burned through the low viscosity oil and was already running a few quarts low. When I called Firestone about this I was told to pound sand and my only option was to pay to have the car towed in, then pay for an inspection and another oil change. I understand mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability and defensiveness has turned me away from this branch.-------------------------Follow up:I was contacted by Firestone corporate asking what would resolve this to my satisfaction. I said a refund of the original oil change and reimbursement of the follow up work required. They never responded to my request.

My son is in college and twice now they have tried to more than double the price of a repair, and after doing a $94 cooling system test told us we needed $1500 in work ($800) in parts. We consulted two other professionals who said it should be 1/2 that price. We took it to one in Cedar Rapids who discovered a rusted out part and with some maintenance and an oil change we came out of it for less than $400. Oh, and the person I dealt with on the phone both times was beyond rude.

I had just dropped my son off at the University of Iowa so he could continue his athletic training after a wonderful Christmas visit. After starting the car at his dorm, I noticed the low-tire light was ON and there it was, the nearly-flat front right tire. I hobbled the car along to the nearest gas station to fill up the tire. After I was satisfied, I started driving and didnt get two blocks before the light came on. I returned to the gas station and asked if there was a nearby tire-repair shop and they referred me to this Firestone. I was immediately greeted and asked how they could help. I explained the circumstances and was given a simply no problem quote of $30 to assess and repair the tire no matter what kind of repair it was. I was skeptical of the price, but with 5 hours drive home ahead of me, was willing to take the gamble. Not only did Firestone repair the flat (faulty valve stem) for the quoted $30, they also tested my battery and did a once over of the car to make sure all the critical components were intact. I was in and out in about an hour and all for $30. Thanks to this location, I made it home safe to the -5 bliss of Minnesota. Thanks to the staff for their service!

I just needed a short term solution as I will be replacing the tires in about 5 months anyways since by then the thread should be at the point of replacement but they tried to get me to pay for a new tire. Long story short AVOID this Firestone at all costs!! They take advantage of anybody they can by saying you need more repairs than you actually do after just going in for something as small as an oil change. I always get a 2nd, sometimes 3rd opinion and they say they see no problem. At my latest visit, my car was starting perfectly fine (wasn’t even hesitating or sounding like it didn’t want to start) before taking it in to replace the tires and get an oil change and then all of the sudden it won’t start due to the battery leaking??? I had changed out the spark plugs myself on her car 2 weeks prior to getting the oil changed and we get a call recommending the spark plugs all be changed out because they look bad. This happens consistently at this Iowa city location, we both work hectic schedules and they can get you in on short notice so for an oil change they arent bad, but DO NOT let them do any additional work on your vehicle. Also noticed they upcharge 50% or more on all the parts they recommend even when compared to certified dealer parts.

Avoid at all costs. My car had brake failure while visiting Iowa City, I am from out of town. This was the only shop open that could look at my vehicle, so I had it towed there. They look at it the next day and said they needed to replace brake lines, fine. Then a brake hose. Then a caliper because they could not get it off. At this point I am fed up with the never ending list of charges they are tacking on to my bill. Then they inform me that they cannot finish the job that day because they need a special tool to bend the brake line...WHAT? Then they have the nerve to charge me for this tool which I did not keep and only got refunded after I called corporate. They also tried to charge me for two calipers when I only received one and this was only fixed because I caught it. I received three different quotes...starting at $750, then up to over $800 and finally settled on $600 after arguing with corporate. Parts are insanely priced $160 for a caliper! I also requested the free oil change offered when getting a Firestone card because that is the only way I could afford these outrageous repair costs, but of course that did not get done. This shop takes advantage of those who are not familiar with the ins and outs of cars. The tech who installed the brake lines did so that they are now sagging very low and to top it all off my car is now making a clunking noise when turning the steering wheel. This shop is a NIGHTMARE.

One of my tires went flat recently (puncture at shoulder so not repairable) and I took it to Firestone to get it replaced. They changed my tire and pulled me into doing an alignment. Afterwards they said they couldnt realign one of my wheels because they didnt have the right tools for a BMW, and another wheel they could not get into alignment because it was already at maximum alignment. But I still had to pay for the alignment. So now theyre basically making me pay for an alignment twice because Firestone could not do it. I pointed out to the store manager Dee that they have a sign saying service done right or its done free. Her reply was they did it right, but they didnt have the tools. Complete BS. They could have either told me beforehand that they possibly might not have had the tools, or they could have called me when they realized they didnt have the tools during alignment so I could ask them to not do it, but they didnt bother. Feels like highway robbery, holding my car hostage until I paid for work they didnt complete. I happily paid for the tire change as they did the work. But for the alignment, any sane mechanic would have just apologized for not having the tools and left it at that. This place didnt care, the store manager was argumentative, not understanding, and only cared about getting paid. Luckily I got the alignment charge waived, but only after wasting 2+ hours aruging with the store manager, calling corporate, corporate calling the area manager, and area manager calling store manager. Probably the only reason theyre still open as a business if their low price and late hours, but really its not worth it. I learned the hard way.

Beware of this Firestone service center in Iowa city.My daughters jeep wrangler blew out a rear brake wheel cylinder. I told her to take it to the closest service center which was Firestone On Burlington Street. They tell her that she needs to complete brake job and the cost is $830.The service writer was a fast talker and spoke all car part jargon which my daughter had no clue what he was talking about. She told the service guy that he will need to call her dad because her dad works on all the cars. And that they never had to take their cars to a service shop like this. So I get a call from the service writer and he tells me that the jeep needs a complete rear brake job which will have a lifetime warranty and the cost is $450. He continues and tells me that the jeep needs a new brake wheel cylinder needs two new brake drums new brake shoes and new rear brake shields. I tell him thats odd my daughter text me and and stated that you were charging $830 for a complete brake job. And now this guy is telling me its only rear brake job. Then I tell a service manager that the rear brakes and drums were new about 8000 miles ago. He replies that the drums were rough looking. With all the BS this guys dishes to me it raises the red flag. I tell the service writer that hes trying to hose me with all the BS hes giving me. He states he takes offense of this and states that he doesnt cheat or lie to customers. I guess swindling money from customers is not defined as lying or cheating. So I tell this guys what I want done. I tell him to replace the brake shoes replace the wheel cylinder and any damage hardware and get the car back on the road. He comes back and says that the Brake lines will more than likely will need to be replaced. I tell him to heat up the flare nut it should come off. He says they wont do it because it has brake fluid all over it. I guess these guys never ever used brake cleaner. If the line wasnt going to come off he was going to charge me an additional $90. So it looks like the final bill that I got was $372 and some change for the work I told him to do. They put AutoZone duralast parts on the car. The One wheel cylinder they install the part cost is $10 they charged me $70. The pair of rear brake shoes they install customer cost is $18 they charged me $140. The funny thing is the final invoice states parts $97.06 Labor $241.90 shop supplies $14.51. I sure gas that this guy needs to go back to school for simple math. Its pretty funny that this guy didnt know that I probably done over 400 brake jobs on trucks and vans and cars I my life and that I also build and fabricate car.

They claim their computer system was incorrect... about a vehicle that has been around for 15 years...Millions of cars sold. The methodology they use was not Standard ASE, and the information in their system was not accurate.

Do not take your car here please its not worth it, after charging me hundreds of dollars for crap jobs i finally drove the car to Texas for an internship to discover that they installed an after market manifold that leaked badly leaving me stuck with an overheating engine on the side of the road. Take your car to the dealers to diagnose and then a mechanic you can trust if they try to stiff with a crazy bill.Word to the wise youll end up wasting the money you have and damaging your car further if you go here its not worth it. The place should be shut down their mechanics have no clue and to be entirely honest i should have known never to go back when the first time i went there for an oil change they locked my keys in the car. I mean which kind of mechanic does that?????

Thieves. Thieves. Thieves. They prey on women. Im a guy and wss just there for a free tire rotation. I had an appt but yet waited over an hr. Main guy tried to take me for a ride for new lug nuts. I needed 7. Told him to just use a bigger socket to put the swelled ones back on. Supposedly they didnt have bigger sockets. Yeah, gtfoh with that bs. Then wanted $10 a lug nut. Due to my wait I complained, no charge. While waiting though I talked a female costumer with small kids to take her car elsewhere. They over priced her for two new tires while installing in the front with no alignment. They say her rear wheel bearings were shot. Over pricing her again. I had enough. I perform most of my maintenance on my vehicles. I know how much stuff should cost. Stay away from this place. I can imagine what they do to college kids in the area.

I recently needed tires, alignment, and brake pads on a car that I got for my daughter for Christmas. I got quotes at five different locations in Iowa City and Firestone quoted me the lowest price. After reading the reviews I was very reluctant to take my business to Firestone but they fixed a tired for me when I first moved to Iowa City and I had no complaints. They got me in and out quickly and did not charge me an arm and leg. Since I was concerned about the reviews on this site I talked to the Store Manager before making my choice. He assured me that he was aware of the reviews and that he and his team were working hard to change the public perception of his store. Since they did well with fixing my tire, I decided to give them a shot. They told me that the car would be ready in 1.5 - 2 hours. I was suprised to hear that since most shops I used in the past will take all day or longer for the type of work I needed. After about the first 30 minutes I got a call from the store and the Manager told me they did not have the right size tire for my car with the tires they quoted me. He then offered to give me a better grade tire at the same price. Wow! How can you beat that. They also told me that all I needed were brake pads on both front and rears as well as the amount of wear on each pad. I was so used to hearing from other dealers that you have to replace the rotors whether you needed them or not. After two hours they called and my car was ready as promised. If drove like a dream with no issues. I will definately go to Firestone for future repairs. They took good care of me and my car. I recommend that the public give them another chance.

They are nice enough but will over charge you first chance they get. Do your research on any part they try to sell you and compare prices with other shops nearby before you let them work on your auto. I got burnt letting them me charge me $200 for a generic wheel that would have been almost half the price at Sears. They tipify the type of mechanics that will take advantage of you if they think they can get away with it. They have serviced me plenty of times but I only go there because they are walking distance from work.

Got new tires installed on my Altima two months ago since this store was associated with TireBuyer. Their technician broke one of the TPMS sensors during the installation (which seems to be a trend since I know at least 2 other reviewers who had their TPMS sensor broken here). A month later, while driving to the airport to catch a flight, the tire pressure warning comes up even though I had recently filled air. Stopped at a gas station and filled air again but warning would not go. Almost missed my flight. Took it to Firestone again to recalibrate the sensor/ system. A month after that recalibration, the warning pops up again. Finally got the sensor replaced at nissan dealership. Unnecessary out of pocket expenses. Really bad experience !!!

I had 2 flat tires that could not be fixed with SLIME. I got to the firestone with the impression that we would need to buy 4 new tires. After 15 mins of diagnosis, I was informed that the damage was located at the aluminum tube in the TPMS in both of them. Instead of making me purchase 2 sets of new Mercedes TPMS, Ben offered to repair them using their special instruments and successfully did it. I drove out paying just over a hundred instead of a grand as I thought. Refugio was also very helpful and patient in explaining the whole situation to us who know nothing about car. They made little profit on us but we will be loyal customers for a long time.

I bought my daughter a new car and it had horrible tires. Even though what I had heard about IC Firestone was not promising, I do not have unlimited funds and they had a sale. I got in on the last day, was told it would be a week before they came in, it ended up being two AND I had to call to check on them several times as no one thought to call and let me know. When the tires were installed and I was paying for them, I had to haggle for several minutes to get the price I had been quoted and I STILL ended up paying $50 more than I was told. After we got the keys we noticed that the tag they had put on it to mark the kind of car was totally incorrect. We got in the car and the tire pressure monitor was flashing for ALL 4 TIRES. I had to stop at the gas station to fill them properly. 3 weeks later my daughter came out of school and had a flat tire. I called Firestone to see what they would do and was told by someone that they would fix it, but it could get costly. I argued with him for several minutes until I got frustrated and hung up. I called the next day and spoke with the service manager Justin and he assured that they would take care of it as soon as possible, and would overnight the tire to expedite. I had to call twice throughout the next week because the tire was not there and the following weekend I was told that Justin was on vacation and they would have to call and find out where the tire was and get back to me. I never got that call. I called again the following Monday and was told it was there and mounted on the rim and my daughter could stop down and have it put on anytime. Almost exactly 3 weeks after that she stopped to put air in her tires (that have been low since she got it back from Firestone) and the valve stem broke off in the air cap. I called Firestone AGAIN. Rufugio said that they would take a look and to have it towed there. When they looked at, Rufugio told me that it was nothing that they installed wrong, the aluminum TMP can snap in the cold. The part was $80 and what he could do for me is give it to me half off. I told him no. I was not paying another dime for something that they cannot install correctly. He was very condescending and rude, telling me that they did nothing wrong but he would take care of the cost. After another 2 hours at the store he had the new TMP installed but still could not get the monitor in the car to reset. He told me to take it back to the dealership even though it was working fine before I brought it to them. All in all a horrible experience. I will NEVER go here again and I will tell EVERYONE I know to avoid at all costs. I will GLADLY spend $200 more somewhere else next time to avoid the horrible service, attitude and apparently products.

A very poor shop provides bad service like cheating.I have been there to install two new tires. They did it quickly and broke my TPMS sensor and they even did not check the leak after they installing the tires, what a silly mistake? Do you think they are professional enough to do it even a simple tire installation work? The tire leaked slowly and made me wake up in cold winter midnight to drive to gas station to fill in air otherwise the next morning I would have to change tie with spare tire in the cold winter morning! The next morning I immediately went to their shop and they would charge me for a new TPMS sensor at a ridiculous high price and I denied because it was their fault. Then I drove out with new sensor (suppose it is a new one) and soon the TPMS signal flashed when I was driving in the high way. I was shocked and wondering whether the tier was still leaking as I was out of town! I called Nissan dealor and they told me it was due to bad initialization of the new TPMS sensor. So I came back to the shop and they did a simple work and said it was ok, they have successfully done the work. Then two days later it flashed again, I was very angry for they bad service and called them again. Then from now they (Ben, Justin, another guy) started to tell me different stories: They only have one tool to do that work/ My tool is broken, the other one tool was in other staffs hand and he is not here today/ We have ordered a new tool and it would come this week, then we would call you to come/. Then there was not any call from them since then. I was totally disappointed for their poor service and cannot wait. I directly went to Nissan dealor and they did a quick programming work with 30 dollars. Then the light never flashed again. From then on, I swear I will never go to their shop for any service and I will tell everybody I know, do not go to that shop unless you want to try your luck!

The firestone on 22nd St. In West Des Moines sold me a new tire last Sunday. It was flat by Wednesday. When I brought my car in to Firestone in Iowa City with the receipt and the warranty booklet, they not only replaced the tire for free, they diagnosed an original problem that the place in Des Moines should have seen and didnt, and fixed that for free too. They additionally gave me reasonable estimates for two other problems and told me they werent critical, not pressuring me into a sale for recommended maintenance. Im extremely happy with the service I got today.

After arriving for my appointment for them to patch a tire that had a nail in it, I sat in the waiting room for over an hour just for them to tell me that they couldnt repair the tire due to the nail being so close to the edge of the tire. They then tried to sell me two rear tires for $300 because they wouldnt fix the one that needed repaired. I then went to Dodge Street Tire and Auto, had them look at the same tire, and tell me that they could repair it that day for $20. I was out of the shop in less than a half hour.
