I was impressed with some of the products they had out for Halloween and the have a lot of frozen foods now. Its not a bad store but they only ever have 1 employee as cashier... need to fix that otherwise you can save a lot there.

This store used to be so much fun to go to. Its absolutely FILTHY, employees are rude as well; the guy at the check out didnt look up, talk, or even reply when I thanked him at the end, completely ignored.. I do give thought to the fact some people have issues with socializing but they shouldnt be in the check out of a store, maybe stocking or cleaning--it desperately needs cleaned.. Sad to see such changes.

The customer service was so nice, the cashier was so friendly, and helpful. Only issue I had with the place was honestly how messy the back of the store was. There was boxes and things all over the place. I do understand it though, there was like 2-3 people working that store, and its not a small dollar tree in my opinion.

I called to ask a question inquiring a purchase and the lady was so rude and snappy to me and literally hung up on me in the middle of me finishing a sentence.

It was okay. Everything was 1 dollar,what not to love,right? The only thing that I dislike going is that we are still in a pandemic,and people still dont know what is social distance is.

The staff member named Toy checked me out. She was on the phone talking the entire time which caused her to open the wrong roll of coins delaying my getting my change back. It was extremely rude and inconsiderate when I just wanted to finish my purchase. It was a personal call by the way.

I love how update items for each month but I like to see items update to be fixed cause it seems is though nobody gets the items switched broken to new ones

I love the selection of this Dollar Tree, the size of the store, and especially the customer service. The checkout ladies are always nice, smile, are polite, and thank me everytime Im there. The big downfall which Ive noticed increasingly worse over the months is the stores cleanliness. Strictly with my visit yesterday there was food snack bags ripped open and food all over the floor in aisle and on the shelves, trying to find hair products and its like one of something had been opened and shampoo? was on nearly every other surrounding product (I slide aside roughly 15+ bottles to find the cleanest one and even still I had to wipe yuck off the product), just lots of empty product boxes in aisles or blocking aisle, some stacked and some broken down but still strewn throughout each aisle...most concerning however was a few various home decor vases, candle holders, that were broken in pieces and were on the shelf and floor of aisle but also in neighboring aisle where a lot of kids toys are located. Some of the broken products were plastics but some seemed like glass and were sharp enough to possibly hurt an unknowing little one just looking for a toy. Very sad, because again this is a favorite store of mine; please help make this a better place again!

The outside of the store had trash all over the sidewalk & trash can was overflowing with trash also. Looked decusting.Inside shelfs weer either empty or a mess you couldnt find anything. Need better hdaļ

The shelves need to be stocked!! The store is in really bad shape. They need more help at night. Two people are not enough.

The cashier there isnt very friendly. Over packs the bags, he doesnt wear his mask properly. Prefer the female cashiers, at least theyre friendly.

No one wearing masks (sign on door, required) No one following 6 spacing lines on floor. Manager never around.5pm on 8/7 lady was up my back constantly while I was checking out. I called Mayor Teague to notify. Have some respect for people that WILL die if you dont follow stores orders. Next time, I will mace your face if you dont back up & stay away from me!

The store is okay to shop at. Seems some of the staff look depressed and complain alot. I try to understand them but fall short. The inventory is starting to get picked over. I try to limit coming here or not at all

This particular store is a filthy, chaotic disaster, always.

I asked the manager to get a box of freezer items so I could purchase them. First, she said she would look to see if they had them, in a few minutes. So I waited. A few minutes later, I saw her in the front of the store joking with coworkers, so I went back up there. She was at a register, and tells me that the lane is closed. I say, I was just waiting for you. She says, rudely, I am counting her drawer, so its gonna be about ten minutes. So this manager wanted me to wait an additional 10 minutes after I already waited 10 minutes, just for her to tell me if an item was in stock?? I would rather drive another 20 minutes to visit the Fairfield store, at least the staff is customer friendly there...🤬🤬🤬

I ALWAYS find things I really dont need! LolFlowers are great! I have elephant holders on the porch, I change the flowers for the seasons and holidays. Wouldnt be able to if I had to buy them from another store.

I got three dry erase markers and they work fine but after a little bit of you using they dont work as well

Half the time I go the aisles are cluttered with boxes as they restock shelves, and employees arent always attentive. The other half of the time it is easy to maneuver around the store. The check-out lines are always long unfortunately. I tend to buy certain things every time I go like Lays Stax, but their seasonal items are fun to peruse. I also like to see what books they have because they tend to have a variety (oddballs included). $1 for many products is hard to beat elsewhere ($1 gift bags, 50 cent greeting cards, $1 bacon bits, etc.).

Good selection but always messy with cardboard and carts of garbage in the way. Staff members are friendly and helpful but there are never enough cashiers and it takes forever to check out. They really need an express lane for folks running to grab 2 or 3 things. I saw several people put a couple selections down and walk out instead of waiting. I almost considered it myself but I really needed 2 of my 4 selections.

Love this store for everything is a buck...who couldnt love that? But, staff never seems like they want to be there which makes check-out very unpleasant. Otherwise those who stock Ive never had an issue with. You get what you paid for and some of the stuff is great!

The store manager should consider having the business hours updated on the website. The dang store closes at 9 and the website says they dont close until 10. Made a 25 minute trip for nothing!!!

What horrible service... line was extremely long with only one cashier. I watched the manager take a personal phone call and then continue to put truck away. When I asked her if there was only one cashier she said yes and refused to jump on and help. She was incredibly rude and I will not be returning.

Cant go into this store without finding a dozen other things I need, lol! Employees are extremely friendly & store is always stocked and clean. I went to a Dollar Tree in Cedar Rapids recently and it looked like it had been ransacked; SO dirty and products unstocked everywhere! I literally thought to myself, Ohhhh, I miss my Iowa City Dollar Tree!

The store is well organized, offers a wide variety of merchandise at competitive prices, is clean most of the time, and staff members work hard and provide a good customer service to customers. I visit this store at least once a month to buy mostly school supplies, health care items, some books, etc.

Affordable place to find assortment of much needed items. (Slpurge W/O the guilt)

One was a Manager.Finally I asked cashier if she was only one working loud enough so they could see 8 people in line.The Manager went for smoke in front of store and one of other employees got another line open.When I came out of store she made a rude remark to me

Called twice to order balloons ahead of showing up. They were too busy to take my order on the phone. Went in and waited in the check out line to get the balloons to be told there was only two of them and they couldn’t do balloons. Don’t sell balloons then!

The Dollar Tree, everything here is a dollar, pretty much everything here you need, bathroom items, food, drinks, some basic tools, and etc.

Decent stuff, cant complain everything is a dollar.

Why pay more for the same product? Dollar Tree saves money and lets me splurge without breaking the bank.

You really should update your hours. I took an uber to your store and got there shortly after 9, thinking I had til 10, as your store hours show. Basically I wasted 14 bucks for nothing.

Just for your information on Sunday this store closes at 8:00 PM not 9:00 PM as on mentioned on google maps.

Google lied. It said they were open until 9pm... They were not. At 8:20pm they were closed. I was very unhappy!

I worked there and I have full blown epilepsy and was fired for having a seizure manager said I was drunk kinda hard to be drunk when you were at a register for 5 or six hours I called the police on myself at delimart for an ambulance and breathalyzer 0.00 ....I was humiliated so I never pressed discrimination charges like a dummy also heads up on frozen and refrigerator goods Im glad I finally manned up

This place Must be super understaffed. The line to check out is always long. They usually only have one cashier at a time.
