I had a gun transferred here from another state, they made the experience so easy unlike other shops I had inquired with. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, even down to the the gun I had shipped, the owner told me about functions on the red dot beam the gun came with that I wasn’t even aware of! Definitely going back!!!!!! 10/10
Stopped in too look around after moving to area, and great people. Had what I was looking for I left very happy. Will be back again.
Good guys in there, had the ammo I needed thanks!
I have purchased 2 pistols from Ammo Bearer in Iowa City and have been totally satisfied with all aspects of the trade/sale. In both cases Ive traded-in pistols on the new purchase and have received more $$ for the trade than any other gun dealer offered. The ammo. holster, cleaning kit, and other mis items were fairly priced and delivered on time as promised. I highly recommend the Ammo Bearer for all your shooting requirements. I agree, sometimes items are cheaper on line, however, I prefer to pay a bit more to a local business that will be there should I need them.
This is a gun shop with no guns. Stopped in and guy says they dont have an FFL anymore. Not many accessories in stock and what I did see was over priced.
Great selection of ammo, and extremely helpful and friendly owner. It is easy to lose track of time here, which is a good sign.
The store is messy, cluttered, and no organization with not much selection. I paid to have him install sights for my glock, and after 5 min of shooting the front sight fell off, I just ended up buying the tools and fixing it myself. Not going to return.
Extremely helpful when deciding on pistol easy to work with very good place
I have bought guns, bullets and accessories from Ammo Bearer for decades now. Ammo Bearer took my unwanted guns in on trade . They fairly bargained with me and pay me good money.Last week I wanted to restock my .22 long rifle ammo and .22 magnum bullets for this summers shooting. But first I wanted a good idea of current prices before going to Ammo Bearer. I called Scheeles in the Coralridge mall and asked for updated prices, the sporting goods professional said he had no .22 magnum ammo. He suggested that I buy a gun there in accordance with what ammo he had left in stock. Also I called (Fin and Feather) The Great Outdoors. the ammo guy laughed at me and said he had no .22 ammo.Ammo Bearer had the ammo I wanted on the shelf and sold it to me at a fair price. I review go to Ammo Bearer and be treaded fairly and get the supplies you need.
Online says they open at 9. Store window says they open at 9. Here I am, sitting in my car, if a couple minutes after 9 and no one is here. Taking my business elsewhere.
