We love this place, but without great beer it wouldnt be much. Their great selection of beers are awesome both for enjoying there or bring home. Weve done both, also at the same time. The beer sampler is fun and a great way to discover your new favorite. They have so many its hard to pick at times but the friendly staff know their beer and have been able to answer all our questions. Just go already and have a great time!

Was there this afternoon when they first opened up. Great staff on hand with spot on knowledge of their beers. Picked up two four packs. Season of the Witch and Gordo Golden Ale along with a long sleeve tee in cardinal red. Tastes were great and wish I had the time to hang out. Drove two north for a day on the North Shore and this was a great stop. Thank you.

These beers were purchased, I walked outside and got a selection of some of the best food trucks in the north shore. I got some food. Cracking each of these brews was a special type of treat. It was a good Friday night.

Id give them 10 stars if there was such a thing. Out of all the breweries Ive been to true north is the only one to really figure it out during this pandemic!!!!! Staff keeps u super well taken care of nd they are super covid contious. Everything ultra clean all the time!!! They are very attentive to their customers. Thanks for a great afternoon!!! The beer and the facility was excellent. Also, the bar back (I believe his name was Dan?) offered fantastic insight and an incredible knowledge of their products. We would’ve been one and done if it weren’t for his input

We tried 8 different IPAs there, our beer of choice, and every damn one was good! Lots of others on tap as well, and you can get it in cans to go...

Good beer and a nice venue for a wedding reception. One minor point: the rest room has two sinks but just one hand dryer.

The Gose was terrific but the best was the strawberry rhubarb sour called From The Patch. I brought some cans home to share. Light sour but great flavor from the rhubarb. Try it if they have any left!

Great place to get a beer.

Finally Ipswich has a taproom to get to the point and to let their beer do the talking. They have the options of a pretzel and coffee on their menu too, but nothing like a full restaurant. You get that great atmosphere that you could only find in the city until now, a nice friendly and open environment to enjoy one of their fine beers. One could never get a better beer than straight from the source, making a taproom like this the forefront of modern trends in a small town like Ipswich. If youre visiting from the city and are looking for the true Ipswich head straight here, you wont be disappointed.

Great beers! Wonderful large outdoor patio, love the pop-up feature offered outside! wonderful light new mango hard seltzer, must try Season of the Witch too, refreshing and flavorful!

Great place! One of the best breweries in Essex County and all of their core beers are really solid. (Personal favorites: Vincianne and Squared.) I like what theyve done with their outdoor patio too, to adapt to the times.

Live music with Lee Biddle and awesome beer. It was a great day. Cant wait until dogs can come back!

Im a huge fan. The beer is great and theres always something new to try. The staff are super friendly and helpful with selection. They have great food trucks a lot. The tasting room is very nice. Fun place to hang out with the family or meet friends.

I really like True North. The people that work there are very nice and pleasant. They make you feel welcome. The beer is so good. I feel comfortable going there by myself for one beer. Its a relaxed atmosphere. Not like a pick up joint like most bars.

Been coming almost weekly since they opened. Theres a wide variety of beers with new ones added regularly. BYOF is a great idea for a tap room and provides flexibility for what kind of experience you are after. Staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the beers they offer and do a great job with recommendations (theyll offer you tastes of whichever ones you would like). Outdoor seating is ideal on a nice summer evening. My favorite place around to get a growler filled!

Incredibly friendly and attentive staff. The whole place in spotlessly clean and spacious. Oh, and the beer is some of the best I have had in a long, long time. Every one I sampled was fantastic.You can bring your own meals with you if you want, and the place is kid friendly too.Absolutely check this place out!

Beer thats it ..Great

This place just opened last week and weve already been there twice. The facility itself is magnificent. The taproom is big open, airy and very cheery. They have four beers on tap so far. I was assured that theyre working on many more to be presented soon. The staff were all very pleasant and eager to please. The beer itself was excellent, and there was a great view of the brew house from the the windows in the taproom. And heres the best part. The food. There is no food, you can bring your own. This works out well for us being on a budget and all. They frequently have food trucks serving everything from donuts to pizza and so much more. We brought hummus and crackers the last time. The tab?for four beers and a great time with friends, $ 24.

Beer is great staff is great but it is over run with kids running around like its a playground. When we were there one small kid ran behind the bar. Not sure if Ill return.

Nice big space with plenty of seating. It’s hard to get a seat outside when it’s warm. Beer was awesome! Sour beer was on point, and it was nice that they have rotating food trucks.

I went with a group. I dont drink but the establishment was very nice. From the others I understand it was a good selection of beers. You can bring your own food or have it delivered. They have board and card games and even a crate of blankets and wraps to cozy into. I really enjoyed myself.

I went there to photograph a story about a fundraiser for a 12 year old girl . I bought 2, 4 packs to take home with me after the shoot .One of the best IPA s Ive ever tasted ! (NORTH SHORE DOUBLE IPA)It rates right up there with Heady topper, Captains daughter and Trillium! If youre in Ipswich, AND EVEN IT YOURE NOT) youve got to try it!

New brew pub with selection of their own beer. Not a lot at this point, but all good. Especially the porter. No food although you can order from local resturants or bring your own. They also have food truck nights.

Excellent beer, variety for a couple of flights, good as any brewery/brewpub in the area. BYOF allows more $$ for the expensive brew, making it worth the trek to this out of the way place. A must-visit for fellow beer geeks.

The whole establishmnet is not kid friendly. They assume that kids will be sitting next to the parent at all times. The owner has been known to personally touch and comment on the attire of a child.

Good beer, fresh, nice selection, no food for purchase but you can bring it in our have it delivered. Lots of lighter beer selections, only one Porter as a heftier selection. Rye Porter is very nice.

By far the worst brewery I have been to. They advertise dog friendly but when you get there, they have a small outdoor space with no shade. The blonde lady pouring beers is rude! Ruined our day. We drove an extra 20 minutes away for this disappointment.
