That wasn’t the case though with my experience at Jim Hudson Toyota.Greg Joy knew exactly what kind of car I was looking for and he spent several MONTHS trying to find that perfect car for me. He was so patient and kind throughout the whole ordeal. By the time I found one on the lot at Jim Hudson, Greg had moved to another department but recommended Len Wall to help me with the purchase. Len was great, attentive and knowledgeable about the car. He made sure I was fully informed of everything. Both of these guys really went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the whole experience. He communicated with me via text, papers with pen, computers, gestures, in person and more.(Im deaf with sign language).I understood there was very busy to do with many customers and others.Ken Barton, he did do everything. I appreciated him.---------------Before I forgot...I also would thank to other Service Advisors from the past such as Ben Turner, Hunter, Luis Velez, Greg and others, including a guy worked with Ken Barton on 10/26/2021. I forgot a guys name. (I couldnt find the name on the papers, the cards and my mobile. Im sorry.)But I dont want to work with Luis Velez again... but I thanked and gave Luis some credits. He did help a lot, though. You people can work with Luis. No problem.I thanked to Galvan who drove the shutter (big van/truck), and picked me up and dropped me off between my home and the company, Jim Hudson Toyota, in the past before Oct 26, 2021.I thanked the repair people who did do the great job with my car through years.A few years ago, there was a new feature like a short video of my car through the link while I waited (even the company is still doing it today. :) ). I worked with Angel Cedeno and he is by far one of the BEST managers to work with. He is very patient, honest. He doesn’t try to just sell you the car because it’s his job, he does it with a purpose and meaning behind it. Everyone was very manner-able and helpful. When I brought the car in for an oil change and tire rotation, Mark reminded me of an active recall for my car and arranged for transportation so that I could wait there. When I changed my mind about waiting at home and waited instead at the dealership, he was able to coordinate with the service technician to get the work done well before the estimated time. An extra plus were the lattes I was able to enjoy from coffee machines in the cafe area!
I couldn’t have asked for a better car buying experience with Jim Hudson Toyota. Greg and Nick were very informative and made the process much easier than I anticipated. I was extremely anxious and nervous but they were kind and reassuring. Thank you! Im loving my 4 Runner!!!
I arrived to my appointment 30 mins early for my oil change and tire rotation and I was greeted by Mr Racer. I was able to check in and get my car serviced. I dropped my car off and almost an hour later my car was ready for pick up. I loved how I received a video after my car was serviced that explained what was done on my vehicle, and what would need to be done on my vehicle like my air filter needing to be changed and etc. Mr Racer explained what was done to my car and also re-explained what was found during my servicing. This was my first time being at this location and I will gladly return. Friendly quick service and all questions were explained and answered right on the spot. And the price was great.
I didn’t want to buy a car this past week.However, the team of Len and Brandon made the experience so enjoyable I happily traded in my old car and drove off in a brand new Toyota.I appreciated their honesty and transparency in the process.They gave me a fair price for my trade in and my new car.I will only be doing business here as long as I live in South Carolina.

Called today to have a few questions answered regarding my vehicle. I gave up after being on hold for 2 hours with no answer.Edit 11/4/2021:Susan, the Customer Relations Manager, reached out to me within a day and was able to answer my questions and assist me with all the associated paperwork.
PART 2 Closing the Deal BEWARE the final signature!The salesman, Carson Richards, and the Sales Manager and Finance Manager were all great. Professional, to the point, direct and honest. This would be a five star review for Jim Hudson Toyota, except that at the VERY END of the transaction, we hit a couple of snags. The gentleman closing the sale offered us the national Platinum warranty from Toyota finance for over $3900. However, I have seen recent posts online that others have apparently purchased the same warranty for about one half that price. We would have liked to purchase the warranty (just like we have on our other Toyotas), but the quoted price was so high that we did not even bother to try to negotiate it down to a more reasonable amount. The actual transaction was made on a very distracting desktop screen which actually spins the document upside down for the buyer and back again, not leaving one time to read what you are signing or the time to check the numbers to ensure the amounts are correct. We asked for printed copies and were jokingly told we would be charged extra for printed copies. We were then handed a computer drive. We were given no directions on how to use it. As sharp as that drive imbedded in a business card is, the darn thing didnt work. My wife and I are technically proficient and neither one of our computers recognized the device and finally the readable part broke off the card. We called Carson very close to the dealership closing for the day. The finance department was too busy to email us the documents the day of sale. We did get them the next business day from our salesman, not the finance department. Now that we can review the documents, there is a several hundred dollar discrepancy between our negotiated price and the actual charges. This was not the worst closing experience we have ever had, but the agent who handled the paperwork and closing did not met the high standards we had seen at this dealership.

100 % grateful to the staff at Jim Hudson Toyota. They saved our weekend trip with their professionalism, expertise, efficiency, HONESTY and everything I can think of. It all happened when we decided to take a long weekend drive from Florida to NC… we were on the outskirts of Columbia SC when the lights of our 220K mile sequoia light up! Our stomachs crunched up with stress and we started looking for a Toyota Service / Dealership nearby. The closest was completely booked on a Saturday and could only give us a late appointment. We found Jim Hudson’s Toyota just a little bit north of where we were. We were able to schedule an appointment online first thing in the morning. The red carpet treatment began at that moment. From the state of the art facility to the most courteous staff that greeting us with care and expertise. We were given complementary shuttle service both ways to the hotel by charming Mr. Galvin. After a couple hours in their diagnostics system, they determined that there was nothing wrong with our vehicle. Only that something had triggered the dashboard’s sensors. They agreed that we could continue with our trip to NC and so we did. We are now back in South Florida, and just as they said: our car performed great with no issues. THANK YOU JIM HUDSON TOYOTA STAFF. We may just drive to Irmo, SC when we are ready to replace our current vehicle. Gratefully, the Rose Family

My wife is currently an active duty soldier in the Army and I am an Army Iraq War veteran. A week and a half ago, I went to Jim Hudson and traded in my wifes and my cars against a Chevy Silverado. I drove it off the lot and I had it for a week. This past Saturday, I got a call saying that there was a problem with the financing. Apparently, the bank refused to take the Power of Attorney I had for my wife. I was angry and embarrassed, and I said so as I returned the truck and got our two cars that we had traded in at Jim Hudson Toyota. I thought that was the end of it.On Monday I got a call from the dealership. They were profusely sorry and wanted to make it right. They admitted the mistakes they had made that had led to this situation, and wanted to help my wife and me get into the truck we were looking for. They worked tirelessly, and managed to get us into this brand new, 2021 Toyota Tundra with all the bells and whistles, amazing warranties, and got us the same payment at 5% less interest.I cannot speak highly enough of the ownership and management staff at Jim Hudson Toyota. Not only do they have amazing customer service, but they were willing to admit their mistake and do everything in their power to correct it. I highly recommend this dealership to everyone, go check out Jim Hudson Toyota if you need a new car and ask for Christian Greene. Every part of my appointment was a great experience. The sign in procedure was designed with my safety in mind. Standing by my car until a technician could place safety materials on the seat and floor of the car. Employees were masked for mine and others safety. My information was taken in a friendly and efficient manner. The waiting area was arranged with comfort and safety in mind. My service was completed earlier than expected, and my car was even given a wash. I loved the video that was sent to me by the technician explaining the work that was completed by him. I would award more stars if possible. Great team and a great place to buy and have your vehicle serviced.
When you think about car buying if you are like me it brings you an internal dread. The feeling is somewhere between getting your teeth pulled and licking a cactus. However I have come to find through my car shopping experience recently that the employees at this dealership are the most accommodating exceptional gentlemen I had the pleasure to meet. After working all week at another dealership I came to test drive a Camry on my day off in the most beautiful color I had seen in years. Aqua Galactic Mica is a color shifting wonder. I recommend this color above all others. They had the vehicle pulled up and ready for my arrival and even allowed me to test drive over night. After about two hours however I decided the vehicle wasnt for me and just before close returned to drop off the vehicle. The were just as accommodating and pleasant when I came back an notified them that would not be interested in purchasing the vehicle through no fault of their own. The diligently worked to get me fantastical ( some where between fantastic and magical) numbers on this vehicle. It came down to the seat and comfort, it just wasnt for me. I say all this to say that I would have been more then elated to purchase a vehicle from them. Their conduct as a company and as people in general is exceptional and as another professional in the industry I can not only respect that but as a consumer apricate that to the fullest. So please prior to making your purchase at any other Toyota dealership please do yourself the favor and make one more stop to here. I spoke with Nick, Brandon and an older black gentleman who regrettable I can not remember his name but is amazing all the same.

Jonathan Arnold does a great job with assisting me with the scheduled maintenance and any issues I’ve had with my vehicle which have been very few. When I checked in at 8:50 this morning, I told my service advisor (Kenneth Barton) that I had become so used to the fast service that I received in my previous visits that I had accepted some work (delivering Amazon packages) at 10:45. He said he’d see what he could do and, above and beyond expectations, called me in at 9:40 to tell me my service was complete (about 45 minutes later - 20 minutes ahead of my deadline and 30 minutes earlier than his estimate!)It’s service like this that will keep me coming back - and the reason I’ve recommended Jim Hudson to several people in the past year. I spoke with a representative over phone and text about the sale of my vehicle. The rep informed me that her sales manager was willing to offer a specific amount based on detailed photos, with the potential for more upon bringing it in for an appraisal. After driving almost an hour, they lowered their offer by a thousand and said they would only be able to sell it for the amount of their initial offer. The car was 2 years old with 28k miles. They used tires as and reconditioning as an excuse to justify the price drop. Tires were evenly worn with half life left as would be expected. No details were given on what was meant by reconditioned (most likely just detailed as can also be expected). This seemed very dishonest and was an insulting waste of time. I would have appreciated an honest value upfront. I do not feel comfortable doing business with a company that tries to bait you in only to change their story.
AVOID. They damaged my rim, then tried to give me the truck back hoping I wouldnt notice. Of course, I did. They had the rim refurbished, now it doesnt match and is over machined. Said theyd replace it, but never did. Called them several times now, no response. Next stop is small claims court I guess. Not going to be treated like this.

I have been going to this Toyotas service for the past 18 years and for the majority its good. This past year I have found that they are not customer focused after buying a new car. I am questioning their scruples .They do not honor their warranty is on a normal basis and they give you the run around I am tired of the facts that they have certain hours of operations being open and they were not Available theyre supposed to be available from 7:00 a.m. to 4 PM the Saturday 3:15pm they would not do an oil change. They are by appointment only they have always had a walk in welcomes and from what I understand online they still have walk in welcomes so they do not update their advertizement to explain this..
If I could give this place a negative 10 I would. It started off with “Kody” calling me all week and saying he was listening to what I wanted and what I didn’t want but when I went in to the dealership it was completely a different situation. He was all of sudden busy even though we had a appointment with him, so we went with other salesman. Well while working with him and telling him exactly what i did and didn’t want the sales manager comes out, probably would be able to tell you his name had he introduced him self but he didn’t, anyway he tells me he has the perfect car for me so I go look at it . That car is exactly what I didn’t want. So we give them another shot and see what else they had. Now I was about to settle for a car two years older than the car I was trading in and the payment was going to be double what I wanted. After telling them time and time again I didn’t want that the man in the finance department came out and got a rude attitude with me. This is the worse place every to even go look at cars. Don’t go
Friendly technicians. Quick turn around while I waited. Clean waiting room with snacks that kept the kids happy. My husband loved the video of the inspection!

Purchased a Toyota corolla which was not in stock at the dealership. David Bowden worked relentlessly to locate one and have it available when my son moved to Columbia. We worked through remotely over the phone since we were out of state.

Hands down one of the best experiences I have had with a car dealership. Shout out to Timothy Clayton for the excellent service. I had put down a deposit on a vehicle closer to where I live and Timothy called me every week to make sure I was taken care of and to see if he could help. When the other dealer sold the car I had ordered and put a deposit on, Timothy at Jim Hudson, was the first call I made. He just happened to have the same trim package I was looking for in another color and he had me taken care of in no time with great communication. I was in and out of the dealer within two hours from test drive and signing which beats any experience I have ever had. I appreciate the service and will be back in the future for a new car for my girlfriend.

I had an appointment for routine maintenance today. They were busy upon my arrival and I anticipated waiting for at least an hour and a half. Christian was amazing and got me out of there in less than an hour! He was extremely pleasant and courteous! 10 out of 10!

Jim Hudson Toyota made our car buying experience fantastic! The staff was very flexible and patient with us since we were coming from out of town. They made the decision making process stress free. Scheduled a car service for an oil change and tire rotation. Told me that they were 2 hours behind so I asked for a shuttle back. They informed that the shuttles was busy so I was forced to wait in the lobby where the music was blaring and there was barely any ac. I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt and sweating. I felt that I was forced to wait for large amount time in a uncomfortable environment. 2 hours later I had a blaring headache and my car wasnt ready. If you are that busy maybe have more than one shuttle so customer dont get upset. Once it finally was down I was charge $70 for an oil change alone when they were unable to get it done for in a timely matter and FORCED ME TO WAIT. From now on will be taking my car to Fred Anderson because they actually respect the time of their customers and charge $30 less for an oil change. I feel that Jim Hudson should at least credit my account $30 dollar but that probably wont happen because they dont care. Moral of the story Fred Anderson is better take your car there to get service or trade in.

This Toyota Service experience was the best i had in my 25 years owning Toyotas. The dealership was clean they treat you with respect. The advisor help me with directions to places in the surrounding area so me and my wife can have some breakfast while we wait for my truck. They even send me a video of the inspection of the truck. I was traveling to my son’s Basic training graduation and my truck was full of bugs. Until the service. They even wash my Tundra at no cost. Love it
I had contacted several Toyota dealers for help with a Toyota issue. Only Jeff Hudson Toyota was willing to help. It was a complicated procedure of voluminous paperwork and this dealer spent the significant and energy time to solve the problem for which there was no money in it for them. I didnt acquire the vehicle from Jeff Hudson so they were essentially doing me a favor. Its appreciated.
We went to JH Toyota Today to check on the lotto mailer prize we won. We sat down with Robert Johnson. He became very aggressive & upset when my hubby told him we wanted to know about the prize prior to discussing a Tacoma . simply bc we wanted to know how much wed have to put with it for a down payment. He stood up, walked away, returned 2 seconds later stating there wasnt any prize. Rushed us out the door like we were wasting his time.Well guess what Robert....We have been very seriously looking for 3 months. We made a CHOICE to purchase this week. And guess whom will NOT be getting our Business....We heard your Customer Service Sucks. Guess Now youve Proved it....
I requested information on a vehicle just today and the individual that contacted me acted as tho they were not willing to help me out. According to the text, she was going to get back with me in a few minutes. Several hours later I sent a text back asking about the quote and I was informed that the Sales Manager would have to get that information together. I text back with an offer on the vehicle and never got a response. Not very good customer service or the willingness to want to sell a vehicle.

I purchased a new Sienna less than a week ago. I absolutely love my Sienna, it’s safety features, and the team that helped me get it. I was originally going to purchase a different brand van, but I am so glad I stopped by Jim Hudson Toyota. I was sold on it from the very beginning. We recently purchased a 2021 4Runner from Jim Hudson Toyota. Carson was our saleperson. He was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience easy and pleasant. The specific vehicle I wanted was not yet in stock and Carson gave me updates regularly on the status of the vehicle while in transit to the dealership. We would definitely return to Jim Hudson Toyota for any future auto purchases.

I waited while my Highlander was being serviced. The coffee was good, and the car was ready when they said it would be done. Cant ask for more than that.
Provided information on vehicle price only to find out that was not the price. Not transparent on use of rebate funds baked into the price given. At dealership only given a number...no breakdown. Only told could not use Toyota special financing or pay cash for the price given. The price would go up with both those options. Never came clean or even mentioned using rebate in price given. Will never deal with this dealership and tactics like that.
Always courteous & service is timely. I always appreciate the video taken in the shop & shared with me following inspection to provide context for any suggested repairs.I will continue to return for service in the future!
Nothing but pleased since purchasing my RAV4 here a few weeks ago. The gentlemen that sold me my car, Matt Renfro, was very professional and understanding of my needs. The financing team did not make me feel pressured in the slightest, but made sure to educate me on whatever it was I was buying. I recently hit a curb and had to take my car back to get serviced, and Christian Brown who worked in the body shop was extremely courteous as well (the repair tech even sent me a detailed video of my car being worked on which was something completely new to me) all and all I cant say enough good things about my experience here, and would give the highest of recommendations to anybody on the fence. Will definitely be back for my next vehicle.
Always super welcoming and very thorough when doing the vehicle inspection. I really enjoy the atmosphere the way the service area looks when you walk in. It’s so awesome how friendly all staff is. If you have any questions or concerns they make it their Number one priority to answer those questions and or concerns. Best experience at any dealer service area.
Very unprofessional! The “wow price” listed online is very misleading. I inquired about a vehicle they had listed on their website for $41,951. When the representative finally called me back he stated that the vehicle was now prices at $58,000. How is it that you can’t update the pricing on your listing to save folks from wasting their time? Furthermore, in any retail business the price listed should be the price that’s honored! It’s a very shady practice to allow customers to believe you’re priced thousands of dollars below what you’re offering. Please take your business elsewhere!
I put a $1000 deposit on a Rav4 that I was told would be here in about 3 week, 4 weeks at the most were the exact words. I was told that I would be kept up to date on the delivery of the car. 3 weeks passed and I had heard nothing. I contacted sales person and was told it was still 14 days out. I checked the following week and was told 10 days out. This has been 4 wks. at this point. Week 5 I reached out and was told my car had just arrived. Not once did the sales person reach out to me in those 5 wks. I went in to close the deal and of course they tried to sell me multiple warranties. One was a maintenance which I did not purchase. The next day I was looking at the sticker that was left in the car and realized my car came with the ToyoGuard Platinum package and the Car Charger package that I was not aware of. The sales persons response when I asked why I wasnt told about those was he was pretty sure he did when I came in 5wks ago. Anyway I was not aware and then they tried to sell me something that I didnt need. I decided not to put my $1000 deposit toward the purchase of the car and asked that it be refunded. I was told it would be refunded the next day which would have been a Wednesday. On Friday it had still not been refunded and the sales person did not know and said he would look into it the next day. It is now Monday and still no refund. I have left a message with the business manager that we dealt with for financing asking what the status is. Hopefully I will get my money back soon.
Had a recall on my Toyota, called in and got set up promptly for a visit. I was offered a courtesy drive home, but I elected to stroll across the street for breakfast. When I came back in 45 minutes, they had already finished and washed my car. Excellent experience! Thank you!
We found our vehicle online, went and looked at it and then bought it. It was very easy and our sales person took the time to talk with us like real humans and not dollar signs. We had come from a terrible experience with a different dealership so we had several questions and not a lot of trust. Our sales person was very good about answering our questions and helping us through the process. We value the time that was taken to show us all about our car and features. We value the time and conversation and consideration that was taken in helping us make a decision. We were very glad to do business with them.
I worked with an amazing sales team!! I came in to test drive a car I saw online and I drove an hour and a half to get there, they drove us to the car let us look over everything as long as we liked and they were never pushy!! I loved working with Jim Hudson Toyota and specifically Christian Greene!
Ive taken mu 2013 Prius there for service since I purchased it. They always can schedule service at a time convenient for me. They have a comfortable waiting area and pleasant service advisors.. Prices are fair and competitive. Especially with a hybrid, I have peace of mind that they know what they are dealing with.
Doug Morrison was great to work with. I wanted a Tacoma truck with the premium electronics package. Doug and Phil found a Tacoma truck out of town and had it delivered to me. I understand it’s pretty tough trying to find a fully loaded 4X2 TRD Off Road Tacoma with all the electronics and color that I wanted.They gave me a good price and even a military discount.Thank you Jim Hudson Toyota‼️

Service dept makes appt’s, but does not care if its missed or your delayed. Some Techs are inexperienced and careless as they would not fix a leaky door seal and scratched my vehicle twice in the same area on two different occasions

Purchased a vehicle with a car maintenance plan. I was told that the plan would be good anywhere in the country since I knew I was moving out of SC at the time of purchase. I found out after the fact that the plan is only good for service at Jim Hudson. I have tried for over a week to get in touch with someone to help remedy this issue with no luck!
My wife and I have bought our past 3 vehicles from here and we love the people! Everyone will literally go above and beyond to help you and they do not pressure you into anything you are not comfortable with. We won’t buy from anyone else except from here!
I came in just to look at a vehicle I’d seen online. He asked my credit score before I could look. I told him I didn’t have an exact number and wasn’t interested in getting it checked today. He came back from the manager and said “as not to waste time, he wants to check your credit” I got there before 6, they closed at 8 and all I wanted to do was look. I’m going to hope nothing about me caused this.
Chris is my guy, Not because he able to get me and out quickly. But his great customer service knowledge about when I need certain services done. I come at least twice a month but he and the team keep me updated. I love it. I put almost 500 miles a day on my car and having Chris make me feel like he in the car with me. He the greatest
Went there this weekend to purchase a car for my granddaughter, at first the salesman was very nice and showed us one car we said we wanted to see something else and he said he didnt have anything else in our price range after the GM had said if we didnt like the car there were others to look at took my business elsewhere.
People don’t wear masks correctly - my service guy had his over his chin. Saw several with their nose exposed. The ladies behind the food counter were not wearing any. Please wear those masks correctly to protect themselves and others.
I want to compliment Christian Brown for going above & beyond in helping me at my recent visit. I had an issue with wipers that have recently been replaced a month earlier and he was able to give me another pair. He was courteous, helpful & went out of his way to help resolve my issues!I have been very pleased with the service I receive at Jim Hudson Toyota!
