I brought in my engagement ring for a repair. Small diamonds on my band kept falling out and I had them replaced numerous times. Finally, I took my ring to Dems and they determined the reason the stones were falling out. I changed settings, and Wendy made me a gorgeous pair of earrings from my engagement band. I absolutely love them! I highly recommend them. They also have a wide selection of jewelry to chose from.

Dems has been in my family for all my life. My parents have been Dems customers as long as I can remember, and when my husband went to pick out my engagement ring, he knew to go to Dems. That was twenty-eight years ago, and even though we now live out-of-state, we make the trip to Dems to have any custom work done. I dont trust anyone else. The staff is incredibly patient and accommodating, and we are so happy with the pieces they have created for us.

I am new to the Irmo area, and needed my wedding set repaired. It was hard to turn this set over to a company I knew nothing about. They were not pushy and very easy to work with. After checking them out, I turned my anniversary ring over for repair. OMGosh, it looks brand new!!! Very good work.

Went here to inquire about getting my glasses fixed (minor welding job). Was quoted an extremely reasonable price and time frame for completion of the repair. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable both on the phone and in person. I did not peruse their wares much, but what I did look at seemed very high quality and neatly presented. I can see why this place has been around so long, as their service is outstanding and their selection is vast.

Mickey is back! The band on my favorite Citizen Watch was broken... took it to a mall jewelry store, spoke to Citizen Customer Service, even ordered a replacement band (after a year they refunded my money because they couldn’t find one.Dems REPAIRED the band (no one even suggested THAT) and I’m wearing it proudly again. I came in needing to get my watch battery replaced expecting that I would have to pick it up days later. I think they fixed in less than 20 minutes and they set the time. I was very impressed with Dems. I have been going there for years. I bought a Tag watch from there over 10 years ago and they are always there to service my watch. I only have them work on it. I had a diamond bracelet from my grandmother and they made two of the add a diamonds made into cuff links. They are absolutely beautiful. Visited Dem’s in search of engagement/wedding ring on the suggestion of a friend who raved about the place. I now understand why. The staff were friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the different types of options available. They made me feel like I was the only customer is the store. No gimmicky sales tactics or up-selling pressure. The store itself is very inviting and comfortable with well thought out sitting areas. I was on the phone with my husband as he got his favorite necklace repaired earlier today. The sales lady was nice and professional. They repaired his necklace free of charge and even cleaned it for him on his lunch break. That being said, we will be using this business for our future jewelry repairs and/or purchases.

Gave them a call today in regards to a pin for my watch bracelet and was greeted over the phone by a very friendly Carol. Kay Jewelers has apparently stopped selling pins, and even then I was charged $20/pin. Which lead me to to Dems. Went into Dems and was instantly greeted by Carol. Who found me a watch pin which fit perfectly, I was not charged for the pin either. Highly recommended, great service!

I bought my first Tissot watch at Dems Fine Jewelers in Irmo about eight years ago, and willingly paid a little more to buy my watch there instead of buying one on line. I was a previous customer, and the store’s staff had always repaired jewelry, adjusted watch bands, etc., for my family. So, I figured Dems had earned my business. Recently, I found out why buying my watch from Dems was a good decision. I recently took my old Tissot to Dems to see if they could remove a gouge and deep scratches on my watch’s Stainless Steel case that spoiled the appearance of an otherwise great-looking timepiece. When I stopped by the store to pick up my Tissot the following day — yes, one day later — I was surprised to find that my old watch looked practically new! Somehow, they had successfully polished away the gouge and deep scratches. They also made a few other adjustments, replaced the battery and only charged for replacing the battery! You just can’t beat the personable and professional people who work at Dems and the obvious interest that the store’s management has in winning and keeping customers, big and small. My Tissot watch is the best watch I’ve ever owned, and it’s irreplaceable due to its sentimental value.
