Thank u for a job well done, on installing our Pella dormer windows. The windows look GREAT. ๐ Alvero and his partner did an excellent job. They were very professional and cleaned up everything after completion. I would recommend Alvero and his partner, as excellent installers to anyone. We would also like to thank Chris Harris for keeping us informed on when our windows would be installed. Sincerely, Vic and Alice
Very helpful. Was greeted right at the door. Look forward to doing business with this great people.
10.19.2020 Update: We connect with -AH on Facebook where they stated they would submit our issue to customer support. They stated a 3-5 business day lead time. Today is 10.19 and we have not heard from anyone. I can see that my media attachment have been viewed nearly 700 times in two weeks, cant believe there isnt a sense of urgency to get this resolved.9.30.2020: Original PostWe purchased, and had our our windows installed, through Lowes in Greenville, SC fall 2019.At the beginning of 2020, before COVID, an issue was reported to Lowes/Pella. After weeks of no communication from Pella I was able to get Lowes to setup an inspection from Pella on our behalf. The Pella rep. that came out said the defect was within the acceptable margin of error and that he rarely saw customers get it fixed. I called our Lowes rep and she stated that she would ensure the issue was fixed. Lowes stated they worked with Pella and we had to wait a few weeks for the part to come in.Weeks have now turned into months, no repair or follow up visits have taken place. Additionally, in that time we found a more serious issue with another window where opening and closing operations are being affected. See photo and video of bent part.Im writing this review in an attempt to get a response as Lowes has stated they have been given the cold shoulder and cannot get a response from Pella. They informed me theyve had conversations with someone named Amy who was the original point of contact, but they recommend trying to locate someone by the name of Larry Tullis as hes a manager. All in all, I will never purchase another Pella product because of this location specifically.
Salesman was slightly rude on the phone.
Ordered a new door for my home with Pella. Custom window pattern was ordered to match the door stain as well. The door install was smooth after a long waiting period for the door. The window panes on the other hand were cut wrong 3 times, stained incorrectly or not installed correctly for 3 attempts at getting them right. This took months between each attempt. Being a door and window company, this shouldnโt have been a big deal or so I thought. Finally after almost a year of waiting for the door and panes to be correct it is finally acceptable. In attempting to call and speak to anyone, the salesperson who came out and sold the door never returned my phone call or has yet to speak to me since the sale of the door. I have also spoken to the management team about the poor customer service and expectation of me paying for the door prior to the door being completed. Needless to say I have had multiple conversations with the Pella team about the poor service and poor management they provide to the customers.
Hand delivered for the 2nd time my final payment today at Pella. Will wait and see if they get it to the bank this time. Also waiting some sort of acknowledgement from owner or someone addressing ALL of the problems during our experience.
Install was amazing and the windows and doors add new life to our home. My wife and I couldnโt be more thrilled with our decision to choose Pella windows and doors. Thank you for your great products and unbelievably awesome install crew.
Great place and a very friendly staff ๐
Great place to buy windows from. Excellent service and a great warehouse crew keep the business flowing!
Nice helpful staff
Purchased a Designer Series sliding door with the shades between the glass about 5 years ago and really like how smoothly it operates. Its been great having the shades protected between the glass with having two dogs and two young kids.Im writing this review now because of the great service I received when needing to replace the rubber bump stop thing that one of our dogs decided to use as a chew toy. Its nice knowing that its easy to get any parts and stuff like that after choosing to make the investment in such a high end quality product.
Manager answered phone. Told me his people were reluctant to go into homes due to COVID. It is a small repair job covered by warranty. How are windows installed or repaired without โhis peopleโ not going into homes??? The manager Obviously, he had no regard for me or my seemingly โsmallโ issue.
From beginning to the end it was a great experience. Would definitely purchase from Pella again!
Didnt have what I needed but offered to refer me to someone who might
I was very impressed with the professionalism of the salesman, installers and the product. Great door and great experience!
Trusted name for ANY window and door concerns.
Best work place
2nd Update 7-14-17: Pella has successfully finished updating my 37 year old casement windows & while it was somewhat costly to get all of the broken hinges, hardware and screens replaced, we now have what seems like brand new windows without the cost of replacements. I would imagine that this is an honor not many window companies are able to accomplish. Thank you Pella!Update 10-19-16: Ive increased this to two stars, normally when I get to this stage of being offended I would not allow the local affiliate of that company in my house (due to a loss of trust). However, ive made an exception due to Pellas long-earned reputation of quality and the efforts of both the Pella respondent below and their local branch to reach out.I thank the Pella respondant below for their concern and for helping to re-initiate this. I look forward and hope to experience the benefits I mentioned in my initial comment below. I will update again.-----------------------------This is my third review of the many companies who have not treated us well during our familys whole house renovation. I will also get to the ones whove done good work.Pella brags about being 80yrs old and still under the same ownership. They talked big about how they still have the parts to many of the Pella windows in my 36 y/o house. I bought the house thinking quite highly about the windows b/c they were Pella, and I figured it was one of the bonuses to buying the house---well until i tried to get them to come out four different times to simply take a look at the parts I need so my children can be assured egress (that the windows will actually open) in any sort of emergency.Every time I called they assured me their maintenance supervisor, who supposedly lives quite close to us, would call us to make an appointment. We closed on the house on April 1st 2016 and now its Oct 14th, 2016 and we have not received one single phone call from their maintenance supervisor. So much for their puffed up claims, they clearly dont care one iota about us or the Pella windows they installed. One thing even more illustrative of their ineptitude and total apathy is the fact that I called a few weeks ago to get prices on an entry door. I spoke to the guy on a Tuesday and he told me he wouldnt be able to get back to me on Entry door options until the following Monday----(I just cracked a smile and thought---yeah right, what are the odds this guy will call me back a week from now)---of course, when the following Monday rolled around I received no phone call & none thereafter. (I apologize for any sour language---I am pretty offended, but ive edited it out)This Pella store supposedly serving the Columbia, SC area is a joke. Thankfully, my wife and I found the help we were looking for at Steir Supply.
Terrible Product: After only about 8 months, my Pella door is useless. The handle will turn but the latch does not so door will not open if shut. I have been having to keep the dead bolt out to keep the door from closing so that it will open. I would NOT recommend their products.
