I cant remember the gentlemans name that helped me but he was awesome! Instead of charging $1000 to replace the whole exhaust system, he just fixed the part that was broken for $80. He also stayed open a little later so that I would have time to pick up my car. Highly recommend!

I’ve been told numerous times to use them they do great work. I’ve tried to give them three separate chances to get exhaust work done and every time it’s some excuse as to why he won’t do it. This place is a joke typical people don’t wanna work

As I approached this auto shop, it was small but clean. When I went inside it had a homey feel to the place. Being a woman I always feel a little nervous going into an auto shop. I find some mechanics very condescending.The man who approached me gave me a friendly smile. He listened to my attempts at explaining what was wrong with my car. He asked me questions in a calm, friendly and patient manner.Leaving the shop I actually felt happy. My car was fixed and I didn’t feel like I was over charged for the service.I definitely will go back here and will recommend this place to family and friends. 😀

I was a little indecisive when I first got to the shop because I didn’t know to much about exhaust and when I asked him questions it seemed as if he was in a rush or something and just a tad bit impatient. Other then that the work and quality of the work is great. Has nice clean welds. Very satisfied with the work and the pricing was the best I found after pricing a couple other shops.

These guys are old school and know exactly what theyre doing I would highly recommend them

Had my truck converted from single exhaust to dual exhaust with a Flowmaster muffler. Looks and sounds great. Very happy with the quality of work.

Phenomenal experience dealing with these guys. I had a real rusty clamp on my 2006 mustang GT that I couldn’t get off and I mean I tried everything! Before I went to St. Andrews muffler. I tried another muffler shop out of town that wanted to charge me 80 bucks to do the same job that the guys over at St. Andrews did for FREE. Don’t hesitate to go by if you need a repair.

John worked with me for a week on the phone and in person to get exactly the products I wanted. He made do with the parts I brought him, and even had to fabricate some hangers to fit properly. With all that, he had it done in one day at a reasonable price. Will use him again.

Got three different recommendations for John for some muffler work in the area. Called him up and said I could come by early one morning. He had everything done in two hours. The exhaust is all fixed and I got out of there expecting to pay out the wazoo, but he gave me a great price. He ran over everything with me in great detail and what needed to be done. It seems like he very much values his customers and wants them to be satisfied. I will definitely consult him in the future for any other muffler/exhaust issues in the future.

This is the place to go. I called John, the owner, and said come on over. Took a quick look and gave me an estimate, got the part, and opened up early to do the work for me.Charged me what he estimated (actually a little less). If you need muffler work, theres no need to goto some chain. Go see John and hell take care of you!

The owner, John Carpenter is the best in South Carolina! We are traveling throughout SC as a Subcontractor for Food Lion Remodels in the State (Were from Virginia) we knew we needed a new exhaust system but, realized we also needed our catylac converter replaced so, my Husband found St. Andrews Muffler & Machine shop and we went over to see what their prices were. John went outside to look at our 1994 GMC Suburban K1500 next thing I knew he had slid up under the Truck, and said you sure do need an new catylac converter and exhaust system! He was booked solid the next day but, he told us if we could get the Truck over to him by 7 a.m. he would gladly replace our exhaust system! He even offered to drop us back off at the Hotel where we were staying while he fixed our Truck!!! However, my Husband went in and waited he was back within 2 hours!!! Our checkout time was 12:30 Noon and we had 3.5 hours to relax until we checked out to head back to Pawleys Island SC.Our review is late coming but, we wanted to make sure we left an excellent review because John wasnt trying to make a killing off of us in our time of distress like most Companies He quoted us a higher price which was still lower then what we expected. The actual cost was $200.00 less then his quote!!! Thanks, John you are an awesome person, you have great integrity. Should we need a new exhaust system in the future once we get our 1993 GMC Suburban C1500 out of the shop we will be back!!! The Truck sounds and feels good with our new Stainless steel Custom made exhaust system sounds great? FYI - Mechanics like yourself are a dying breed, Sir!!!!! We really appreciate you!!!!
