Really cool place, a lot of unique items as well as your normal decor stuff. I was surprised at how affordable the items were. It also seems like the quality was good as well, many many solid wood items, not the OSB flimsy stuff from department stores. I definitely want to go back and look for more finds.

On a whim I figured I’d stop in to see what they have. Sure enough they had the small area rug I was lookin for. Not to mention it was $6 cheaper than bargain hunt too! This store is everything home improvement and interior/exterior decor. I recommend u checkin it out!

Ive called this place twice now, and there is an extremely rude female cashier/receptionist that should not be working with customers. Wont be visiting this store or calling back anytime soon.

I could spend hours in this place looking at uniqueitems.. But Ill have to tell you old man that works in flooring refuse to wait on me. I sent there 5 minutes waiting on him to get off of work list and then I had to say excuse me. I asked you about a cabinet in the back and he refused to go and see whats I was referring to you. I got a short answer that did not answer my question I would have got a guess if I was George it had not been for that employees. The story short was were about to drop $4,000 on flooring and doors. NOT TODAY, We left!

I love this place. So many ideas I have when coming here.

It has a variety of items that can satisfy your creative needs. A lot of specialty items, unique salvage fixtures, unfinished cabinets, butcher block countertops, marble tiles, etc. The service can be hit or miss sometimes and the prices arent as good as they once were. But if youre a craftsman or do-it-yourselfer you can find a lot to work with here.

My wife and I was in the Irondale store on Monday, March 1st. A lady named Sheree help us with our flooring needs. Very nice and very professional. We ended up buying over 1000 sf of laminate flooring and underlayment. Yall should be proud to have her as an employee dedicated to her job as much as she is.

They do have a lot of nice things but for a salvage place I think their prices are a little high on some things. If youre remodeling, building a home or refurnishing your home this is the place to go, but be ready to spend some money!

We had a good experience with a few workers there. Nice selection of almost everything youd need for a house. We didnt but much as were from out of town, but did get a few tiny items for home. Took a star off for hard to navigate aisles.

I want to recognize Sheree Ross for her compassion and unconditional support we received for a damaged vanity. After we got the vanity home, the piece under the sink was really damaged. Very disappointed. I really wanted to like this store, but the rude female cashier ruined my whole experience. She rolled her eyes and cut me off mid-sentence while I was trying to make a decision. I ultimately left without making my purchase because of her. Like several other reviews have said, customer service is lacking. I took my business elsewhere.This place has a few great deals with several overpriced, cheaply made items. Some higher priced items are non-returnable. Not worth it.

Awesome home store for unique home furnishings; unlike any other in the Birmingham area! Prices are comparable to other retailers. They’re in a questionable location in Irondale; if the store were to relocate to an over-the-mountain area of Birmingham/Hoover I believe their revenue would improve greatly.

One of a kind, unusual furniture and home and garden features... everything from 9 stone Buddha fountains to bars made from the front end of military jeeps to marble flooring to ball room size mirrors to cowhide leather throws... There really is no other store to compare it to.

I love this place. I mean its more of a secret because I am happily married with two kids and I will never do anything to jeopardize my life but the love is real none the less. Good deals and cool stuff. Bought a big area rug for 80 bucks after shopping around for months and coming up with 250 or more. Im going to figure out this butcher block countertop thing and theyre the ones to help.

Today was a little disappointing. Went to buy several items. Purchased 5 lights for several houses. 3 were not the ones I picked out. Had to bring them back. Tried to get the correct ones and again they brought the wrong 3. Then after all the time I wasted there, they tell me they dont have any. I dont understand that if you dont have them in stock, why are they hanging in the store?!? I love the store but just frustrating to have spent that time and gas for nothing.

Great Services, friendly Environment

The walk thru with the lanterns is awesome and so is the sweet black lady in the garden section. She showed us around and made a wonderful impression on my boyfriend, which let me wander ahead a bit and pick out what I wanted without any hey, look at this interruptions!!

This store has a ton of unique items and great prices on a number of items such as tile. Their fountains and outdoor decorations are really cool. I cant wait to get back to this store. I didnt have enough time on my first visit. Its definitely worth checking out.

When I first went it felt like a modern Pier 1 mixed with a bit of Home Depot. You cannot be sure to find what you came for but you will find something. I believe that the selection of furnitures and knickknacks is gradually becoming less eclectic and more cheaply made and mainstream but you can still find some off-kilter items.
