This place is amazing! We met my girlfriends family here for breakfast & everyone is extremely kind here. 90% of the customers & waitresses & even the cooks seem to know one another & everyone is saying hello to each other by name. It just makes it a very comfortable laid back restaurant. The food is great too! It reminds me of a hometown restaurant youd see people being interviewed on Fox & Friends.

Nice diner with a mini golf course! They have daily specials. I recommend getting the French onion soup in a crock, but it is an upgrade. Be careful, there is a charge for using credit cards. They give free passes to their mini golf course with kids meals. I recommend a round of their mini golf. They even have a hole where you have to drive over grass!
Was possibly one of the worst experiences Ive had at a diner. Waited 45+ minutes for our food wich was pancakes and a skillet. The restaurant was not too busy. 2 tables that came in after us got their food first. When we finally got our food my skillet was cold, veggies not even cooked, and the pancakes were bland and flavorless even with syrup. The only thing that was done right was my eggs. It was at a point of how long it took we were getting ready to walk out. Will never go again and told all of my friends to stay away.
This place has been putting up some of the best Diner food Breakfast and lunch for many many decades. Great service and an honest meal every time whether its packed with a wait or just a few tables.Also be sure to check out the mini golf course next door during the season. Its the oldest mini golf course in North America!
Parkside diner is one of my favorite spots I go at least 4 times a month and bring and showy friends who havent been there and every single one of them is impressed with how good the food is and the friendly staff 100/10 😍🥰🤤🤤

Absolutely horrible customer service. Spoke to a woman who was absolutely rude and stated that if I wanted to talk to the owners are very busy, they cook all day and that this would be a you leave a message and they decide if they want to call you back. Excuse me? You close at TWO PM dont tell me the owners dont have time. I wasnt even calling to complain! Have never eaten here, but certainly never will.
Our first time there was the day in-person dining was allowed to reopen. All the staff was wondering and attentive. The menu has a ton to offer! We selected breakfast for dinner and were thrilled with the plates and prices. The skillet had tons of food and my pancakes were massive! We will be returning!

Parkside Diner is a great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is right next to Durrand Eastman Park and only a 10 minute walk from Seabreeze Amusement Park. The Parkside Diner has a really big breakfast menu. A huge selection of pancakes. I saw they had pancakes like cheesecake and there famous cinnamon Roll pancakes. I dined around 1pm and breakfast was still being served. After a big debate I ended up ordering the honey chicken wrap. This comes with mac salad and soup. I picked the buffalo chicken soup. I really liked the honey chicken wrap. The soup was kind.of disappointing. It was very think, just did not look appealing and tasted nothing like buffalo flavor should be.If you dine outside be warned this place has an insane bee problem. We choose.to.eat outside and bees were flying everywhere. I was eating.my soup and as I was dipping my spoon into my cup serveral times a bee flyes in between my spoon and.my.bowl.Also if you pay with a credit card.or debt card they will charge you an extra 3.25% extra regardless how much or how little.your bill is.Right next door there is a minature golf place.I was very surprised how busy this place was at about 1pm.Service was.goodI would love to come back and try your breakfast.
Love this diner! Menu is fantastic with choices that will appeal to everyone, young & old. Service gets a 5 star rating. Our server was super attentive even though it was busy. The food we ordered was quick and delicious. Compliments to the cook/chef. One of the cleanest diners Ive been to. They are very conscious of spacing during this pandemic, yet we didnt feel isolated. Most likely why they have been in business so long. Would highly recommend if looking for a great experience in dining!
The Parkside Diner is one of those places where you feel at home the first time you go there for great homemade food, friendly service and pleasant customers. With inside dining or outside dining available in open air or under the cover of a large tent, you can choose your preference. In particular, the Parkside is our go to place for great breakfast after a walk in the beautiful adjacent Durand Eastman Park path or before a day boating on Irondequoit Bay just down the road. We enjoy their Polish or Italian sausage with eggs and homefries/hash brown potatoes...yummy!Check it out, you wont be disappointed!!!

I had a very nice meal at Parkside Diner. The menu offers alot of unique breakfast options including a variety of Eggs Bendict with amazing pancakes with so many yummy options as well as a wide variety of delicious lunch and dinner choices. The Server, Michelle, was friendly and prompt anticipating what may be needed. Enjoy Mimoas with your breakfast or sip the great coffee. Reasonable prices, great service and generous portions make this great diner with a relaxed atmosphere.

I had done a delivery order this afternoon and a couple of items were missing. This isn’t a big deal- I understand things happen, but as I was eating I pulled out multiple long black hairs from the food. I had called about the issue and they said that the owner was cooking today and they were only willing to refund for the missing items and not the ones that had the hairs in them.

The service here is excellent and the food is always done nicely. You can get breakfast all day and their menu is packed. Consider playing a round of mini golf next door at the whispering pines course... it is in the national historic register as the oldest miniature golf course in America.
OMGEEEEEEE THOSE PANCAKES.WERE SO HUGE AND FLUFFY AND SOOO TASTYYYY KEPT TAKING BITES OF THE KIDS FOOD LOL. AND THE BREAKFAST SKILLET WAS AMAAZING TOOWhen i was younger and before my parents divorced we lived across the st on park road and thiss place was and STILL ISSSS THE BEST and the littlw putt putt golfing is soo sweet and lots of family fun. Plus bonussss one of the oldest putt putt golfs in USA.

Food is always great. At todays visit, the young woman who brought the menus was not properly wearing her face mask. I mentioned it to the waitress who said she would address the issue. However, the young woman was still wearing her mask below her nose and near guests when we left. Very disappointing!

Food was good,ordered corn beef sandwich (my favorite),and it was real corn beef not pressed.. Good steak fries too.Its a small dinner with a back built on,so dont let the front deceive you. They also offer lunch specials,They close after 3pm.friendly service.I ll be back.

What a fantastic meal. The hash is out of this world; not canned and overflowing. Potato pancakes are out of this world. The size and flavor are second to none.
