Im always pleased with the selection here and the staff is always very knowledgable. I ordered a large variety of baby fabric to make my newborn blankets and theyre all great. The team also advised what to do when sewing them to guarantee they wouldnt fall apart, since it was my first time. Its nice they also have a company that sells sewing machines but I just used my cheap one. Ive also come here for wood cutouts to paint and to make signage. Definately the ideal place for diy novices.

My go to Joann store. I like the selection of fabrics and overall supplies for crafts. Very affordable especially with the coupons. Staff are friendly and helpful. Love that they allow dogs which is great as long as the dogs know to behave.

I havent been back here in a hot minute, but the 6th grade sewer in me just DIED. I had the BEST time looking at all the fabrics again. I actually found almost the same exact fabric my mom used to make my 2D Easter bunny in elementary school. Its probably been 10 - 15 years now and they still got it, but in purple. The worker who cut my fabric was really nice and helpful. The cashier was aight, but thats how it is in those kinds of stores. Life isnt that exciting. Overall, Id give it a 9/10 just because I enjoyed myself so much.

We placed an order online for pick up. I waited 30 min while the staff refused to bring the product out to us. They kept asking us to wait, hung up on us twice and refused to allow us to speak to a manager. I finally had to wake my sleeping baby and toddler to go in and pick up product that we already paid for. Their customer service is abysmal and I will never shop at this location again.

This store have a good variety of arts and crafts material but they need to put more or new variety so they can get more news costumers lots of isles are very mess up lots of their merchandise is on the floor but its ok to go and visit this store

Fun place but the selection really varies from store to store.

This store is way bigger than one might think looking in from the outside of the door. I stopped here looking for a sewing kit and some material to replace the straps on most comfortable cloth mask. It was easy to find with little direction from the workers.

I went in with no idea what I was going to get and came out $60 later with a lot of great deals. They have so many different types of paper,stickers and paint. So many crafts that can be done but we will see if I have the money to buy them all lol. I came after the holidays and it was pretty empty. No need to wait in line

It was easy to find, and once inside had no problem finding what I needed. Friendly, knowledgeable staff are there for you if you need them. Lines were very short and store was clean and well stocked.

I placed an online, curbside pick up order. I then received an email that 4 out of my 5 items were not in stock and canceled. Hours later I received another email stating that all 5 items were ready for pick up. I called to verify and it was confirmed that only 1 item was ready for pick up. While trying to explain myself to the lady on the phone, she kept talking over and not allowing me to explain myself. Not a chatty thing. Literally kept speaking over me, deliberately. I got to frustrated and said, I am your customer, I need to speak, please let me speak. Only then was I given the opportunity to speakLater the next day I received an email with a receipt, stating that I had picked up the one item in stock. Well, I hadnt. I had NOT even indicated that I was on my way to pick it up.I call and spoke to Diana about it and gave her all the details. She was very helpful and understood everything I explained. She took notes for a supervisor, Vicky, including my phone number. As once the order is marked as picked up, it cashes your account (through whatever form you paid). Days later, I had not received a call with any updates so I called. Vicky answers, I again explain what happened and she placed me on hold for 10 minutes. I called back and she said she forgot about me 🥴She said she was going to look into it as they had a glitch the day it all happened. Placed me on hold for 18 minutes. I gave up. Clearly this location is not willing to right their wrong and is stealing money from customers. Because once it is marked as picked up it cashes your account even if you have NOT picked up your order. They have not refunded me. Have not called me (they have my phone number). It was initially explained that they probably might only be able to refund me if I came in person as it was marked as picked up and would require a refund. Well I had no intention of picking the one item. It is a 2 hour round trip for me and was only willing to make that trip for all the items. Like with other stores once you meet the threshold of days given to pick up an order and your order has not been picked up, then it is simply canceled but because of their mistake in marking my order as picked up that was no longer an option.Also, I know Joanns customers know thr frustration but their inventory system for both online and in store orders is just terrible. More often than not your orders are canceled.

I called several times never to receive an answer to my need for a product. I was passed around to different clerks. I decided to shop elsewhere.

I try to not buy all of my crafting supplies on Amazon - especially during covid when other businesses need support. But I definitely will never come back to this location. I’m a very easygoing person and it takes *a lot* for me to have a ‘bad experience’ somewhere - but this store is SEVERELY short staffed. This is clearly a problem with corporate and scheduling, rather than a problem with the staff. The store was disgustingly dirty - and I mean fabric and supplies all over the floor, and the floor and counters being covered in black grime. It looks like no one has mopped in months, which makes me feel this is not a safe place to be during covid. I’m also in a wheelchair and this store would have been literally impossible to navigate on my own. Every time I moved, my partner had to pick up product off the floor, move ladders out of my way, and move shopping carts that had been left around the store. A sharp piece of plastic even cut into one of the wheels of my chair and got stuck. If you’re not able-bodied, avoid this store 100%. We also could only find one employee to ask where something was, and she had a line of customers waiting to ask the same.

Fabric department had 3 people behind the counter but only 1 helping the customers when there is a huge line. Why not help the customers first then go back to what you were doing?

I was very disappointed in the customer experience. I only saw 2 sale people and had to wait along time for help only to get the wrong information as when I got up to the register, I was told I would have to go back to the fabric dept for a remeasure.Hope this isnt a sign of the future!

The store was clean, staff SO HELPFUL & NICE and also found most if everything i was looking for at a good price with all the markdowns & coupons. Great time for people to take up a hobby or just make something to share with someone else whom may need a little cheering up. I loved Jo ann fabric store plus i saved lot of many when you used the coupons that they send you.

This is unacceptable. there was 8 people in line and only 1 cashier. i had to wait 20 minutes just to check out the few items i was purchasing. no other cashier came to help other customers to speed up the process. unbelievable.

Extremely understaffed. They have one cashier working out of the 7. Not to mention the one actual cashier seems to be multi tasking so it literally takes forever. Place is larger than expected but disorganized, most likely due to the lack of staff.

I needed a calendar with pockets and I looked all over. I found exactly what I wanted at Joanns. If you have any crafting or sewing needs, this is the place to go. But you might be surprised as I was to find something unique as I did. Please dont order online. Its nice to have a store to get what you need when you need it.

They hd a HUGE supply of basic stitch which happens to be my most favorite yarn to work with right now. The checkout people are always lovely

Helped out by isabel she was polite and quick. Helped me find pillow inserts and went the extra mile to let me know about the sales.

Lots and lots of reasonably priced sewing and craft projects for your family. Sewing classes for all ages on the premises. Floral design items are also available and excellent seasonal items for your home or office space that could drown you out in projects. This is a great competitor for the other craft businesses.

The BEST joanns around. While my fave little Joanns in LB has been closed, i discovered this one. What a find! Great customer service at the cut counter, door greeter, and check out. Friendly. Courteous. Helpful. Knowledgeable.

They were out of a lot of colors of embroidery thread and the rack was in disarray. But the clerk was friendly

This is my wifes happy place. They have sales...lots of sales. All the time. She finds inspiration there and they seem to always have just that *one* thing she was needing for whatever project. Sadly *one* usually means somewhere around 20 items - hence the reference to the endless sales 👍

Ok so for a rotary cutter about 5 days wait, as of right now. Before coming down I called they said it was ready, it wasn’t. Have also bought fabric, slow service. For fabric it takes about 15min wait to get your fabric cut & another 10-15 for it to actually be cut. Overall if a different store was open they couldn’t be worst then here.

Expensive false advertising inside. I will give 3 star for the variety

So glad Joanns survived Covid-19. I would be devastated if they were to close permanently. My crochet and creating is my sanity! Joanns is essential for mental health! Joanns has a great selection and always great coupons and sales.

I go here for basics - thread, buttons, notions and such. Its fine, nothing special. Sometimes fabric is cute, but not often. Most of the staff is very nice, but the checkout is always painfully slow. It has been that way for years so I dont have expectations of a change any time soon.

Dont ever order on line to do curb side pick up. You cant cancel the order. You have to go in to the store to do a return. Then when you try to do the return they just say you, its not a return, you just wont be charged for the items you didnt want. I get home and get an email heres a receipt for the items you picked up. So now I am charged for items I didnt even get. Not to mention it took 7 days for the items to be ready for same day

Great store! Their fabric is well organized and so many choices. They could use more than 1 person cutting fabric though!!! So that is a wait. The store has so much great product choices that you may end up being there a while- happily walking aisle to aisle!

Great place to come purchase items for a party! Saved $142 for my whole purchase and I look forward to coming again! Also you guys were out of wrapping paper but Diana went above and beyond and wrapped everything in plastic bags. Thanks again!

This JOANN Fabrics is a basic hobby/craft store. From the state of merchandise aisles (hit and miss, some aisles are messy with products opened and/or in disarray), I feel like the store needs much TLC. I can usually find what I need for hobby building, but its a time sink looking for items since I typically have to look closely at every aisle of a particular category. One thing that stands out as a big plus is the sewing class offered here by a 3rd party (OC Sewing & Vacuum). I needed to sew appliqué on a uniform, and the 3 hour class was the perfect solution.

Would give one star if I could. Worst customer service in the world. Come in. Becky says you can’t return items that aren’t from their exact store. Then after I said I’ve done so already with your company - she confirms with manager. Manager says ok this time ... then receipt won’t scan. Becky doesn’t know how to input the return. Alondra comes over and inputs it. Receipt says returned already. I said that’s cause you’ve been scanning it constantly and not knowing what your doing ... alondra then says she can’t return it and I have to return it back down in Costa Mesa. Stay away from this store. Awful.

I do like Joann fabrics but they limit the coupons so much. They send 30,40 50% off coupons but only if its not on sale and it always is! I think they do it just to get you in the store so I rarely go anymore.

Its a tough call, they have such a wonderfully wide array of products (especially fabric) BUT their employees seem so miserable and unhappy

The staff was very friendly, willing to help and knowledgeable. However, the quality of service provided makes things pretty slow. So yes, you do have tu wait around a little. In summary Im likely to come back due to the quality of service, but Joanns would need to add staff members to maintain its customer service level and decrease the wait time.

This is my go-to Joann. Theres several of them within a five mile radius from me and this one is the best. They always have what I need and if they are short on things they are super helpful and willing to find it for you or order it. I cant give it five stars due to the bathrooms always being a bit of a mess, but overall its a great location.

Lots of nice fabrics and they are not too expensive took a while for them to get to cutting my fabric (there was only one other person in line) thread is a little overpriced but you can pretty much get all you need in one stop here.

I drive 9 miles from Huntington Beach to this location because they take care of the disabled. Theres an electric cart and an assistants bell to help you if you need help. They have much more stock than my local store less than 1 mile away. There are clerks around to help out and make suggestions. I could really spend hours in there if my husband would let me. Love this store!

We found everything we needed. It was just a bit messy. I understand that the workers should be keeping the surroundings tidy but when customers are dropping products and not picking up after themselves its not the staffs fault. My family ended up picking up rolls of fabric that was knocked down by another customer just so we can get the fabric we needed. Overall, we got really good deals and have a wide variety.

This is the best Joannes. My favorite girls there are Angela and Patty. These ladies are aways helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the whole store. I have been traveling to this store since it opened. I have a Joann store within walking distance that has very little inventory and I prefer this Irvine store.

They have everything you need for crafts. Very helpful sales people. Inventory is good quality. Expect to shop longer than you planned for because there is much to see.

Clean, well-organized, and a great selection of fabrics! Great place to find unique seasonal decor. The only thing is that its a bit pricey.

The selection is pretty good, but their in-store assistance leaves A LOT to be desired. They appear to be perpetually under-staffed. If you need some personal assistance, GOOD LUCK!

Ive been to a few of the local Jo-Anns and this one is by far my favorite due to its size and selection. I shop here primarily for paper crafts and found the others to have a limited selection of such. If you are into any type of crafting, this is the store I would recommend.Like the others have said, it is understaffed. If you need help finding something it may take a while. The checkout line is usually rather long as well. Not the best place to go if you are in a hurry.I have never experienced any rudeness from the staff. The few times I asked for help finding something or asked if they could check the stock room the staff has always been very pleasant and helpful.I like this store cause you can kind of loose yourself in your craft. Not crowded (shoppers or staff) and a huge selection. Its very peaceful.

For years and years, this place hasnt changed. It offers lots of different kinds of fabric, sewing needs as well as arts and craft. Also has a silk floral aection. This place has not improved... workers are not happy and therefore not customer friendly. Not easy to get help in the store. The check out line is always long as never enough cashiers. Bathrooms always a mess and not very clean. I only come here when I absolutely need something.

This location does have more to offer than others because it is large, but some specific items you need to possibly order online. I went for a thick pleather band or strap to sew onto a fury purse, but I needed a thick one and only found thin ones.

The staff here is pleasant friendly, and helpful. On my most recent visit, the cashier helped me use the coupons that have me the best discounts for my purchase. Great experience!

The best Joann s Ive been to in OC. Very few outstock holes. Found what I wanted, plus. Two things I bought was not priced as sales items, so pleasantly surprised at register. So that being said more detail to sales items, would of had me looking for more good buys.

I LOVE THIS JOANNS. Ive been to other Joann stores in the area and this is by FAR the best. While I prefer to frequent smaller mom and pop fabric shops, sometimes you just need a big box craft store.

I always can find what Im looking for here *art related* and the staff is very helpful and nice. Sometimes I come to browse for new project ideas. And usually something comes to mind!

Even though Ive only been to this Jo-Ann location once, I had a great experience! I only go to this Jo-Ann when Im in the area and/or the closer Jo-Ann locations do not have something that I need. This is just as big as the Foothill Ranch Jo-Ann store!!
