They have a great selection of books for any age, games, starbucks, toys, cards. I love this place and my little one also enjoys going to Barnes and noble.
This isnt my usual one. Its small for a barnes and noble more of a quick stop type of store. Just grab what you need and go Id rather enjoy search for a good book
We All had a lovely time here! My grandprincess, son & wife. So much to look, love & pursue. However I must add that the Bathrooms were Worse than something you would find in a Bronx subway dtation. FILTHY AND WHEN WE COMPLAINED TO THE STARBUCKS LOCATED AT THE SAME FLOOR? Nothing. For this to be in such a highly populated IRVINE SPECTRUM? THEY NEED TO DO BETTER BECAUSE I WILL NOT BE BACK NOR SPEND A NICKLE HERE UNTIL THIS HAS CHANGED. So, as long as you do not need a restroom, buy tour books.
A pleasant experience here. Very clean & organized. Well stocked with plenty of books and novelties to choose from.Purchased a couple kid books for our daughter and a nice Tarot deck set with handbook for the wifey.Good customer service.
Customer service was awesome! They not only looked up 2 books I was interested in, they even showed me exactly where they were! I love & appreciate the personal touch anywhere I patronize & B&N certainly has it!
Good service. A lot of times I come here, I pass by the books in the front looking for mine, and then I find it, and then I find out it was in the front the entire time! π Check the front just in case guys!Love the escalators, all the best Barnes and Nobles have them cafe is great, but maybe better pizza pretzels.Overall, it gives off a homey bookstore feeling that I like and I feel like I could spend my whole day in there.
Sanitation is good. Its not easy to find a store employee for help. In addition, many empty shelves makes me feel that the book store is dying.
Very large B&N. Difficult to find employees; they rely more on headsets than actual presence in the store. I wonder about their loss rate. Manager was kind to give a discount on a slightly damaged cookbook as no other copy was in-store. Cashier was friendly and helpful. Upstairs is where youll find the Starbucks, but its owned by B&N so forget using your gift cards or points, sadly. Very limited selection of foodstuffs, but nice workers and generous tables/chairs area for sipping & reading. Lots of teens & young people; nice, calm vibe.
Its a pretty typical Barnes and noble. A little smaller than some of the ones Ive been too, so the selection isnt quite as wide as bigger locations, but its still nice. They did have a weirdly large Manga section in comparison to other sections though so if you want to buy manga it seems like a pretty good location.
I absolutely love book stores, wish there were more of them. Good set up here and yes they have a Starbucks
The choice of books is obviously vast. However the owners of Barnes and Noble are so extreme left wing that it almost hits you in the face at first glance. Just by their choice of books and what they choose to display is clearly favorable towards one particular party. Very Pro Liberal Anti Republican. An owners political stance should not be obvious in a bookstore and there should be pro and anti for both parties! But unfortunately it seems isnt that way in Barnes and Noble and it shows!.So for this reason alone, regardless of my political party affiliation to attempt to influence the buyer one way or another is a terrible shame and I wont be spending my money here again.
It was really nice the problem is that theyre not stuck up like they used to the items that I was looking for was a leather cover for my journal they used to sell them and varieties really awesome style now they dont but you do have to wear a mask did you have sanitizer and theres plenty of books to just sit and read and enjoy them so for those that love to read come on down enjoy it with a Starbucks
Two stories and packed full of all your favourite reading materials. Complete with a Starbucks on the 2nd floor where you can get a cup of Joe and read some of a book. Guess my only complaint would be they said their water fountains were not working.....and ofcourse the water fountains were right next to the StarBucks so no wonder they werent available, bwahaha
Air conditioner was off. Too hot to shop. Worker said the part was on back order. No fans
Great place to enjoy a cold drink and browse books.
I am very much appreciative of their services. they worked with me even though I had little to no credit and was a first time buyer. the salesmen was kind enough to show us the inventory and explain what they were about. the whole process was timely. i didnt qualify for the first car I was interested in but they didnt give up and quickly found something else that I liked.
This one is a great bookstore...such a wide variety of books here and the young adults section with a reading area is a nice touch for our cousins younger daughters...
An amazing bookstore. Clerks are extremely helpful, and will help you when you ask
Big location nestled in the mall. Youll have to to outside to get here, as it is an outdoor mall. There is plenty of parking, BUT it is not necessarily close. Youre definitely going to have to walk here. Store is well-lit and organized nicely. Its a large location, but I dont think it has a Starbucks inside.
I enjoyed the larger selection of this BN, however the upper level could be better. The starbucks appears to be in shambles most weekends and somewhat crowded.
Great to be back among other people with my same attitude! Super smiles and awesome service!
Large bookstore with a good selection of magazines. I saw a section for games and some toys, music & videos/DVDs, and of course all kinds of books. There are two floors of goods.
What a lucky day! I didnt know which section to go to for books to send to my nephew. I looked around thinking I will leave empty handed but I crossed paths with a very knowledgeable rep. I wished I had asked for her name so I can mention her in this review. When stores have people who are knowledgeable about their products, the customers visit becomes a very good experience.Huge bookstore and plenty of space dedicated for childrens books. These are awesome books to inspire your young teenagers.
Books. the cashier be lying tho, I got ohshc manga once and he said βI havenβt seen someone buy ohshc in a long timeβ and then I came back next week and got a few more ohshc manga and mf said the same thing, he lyin u just saw someone (me) buy it last week :(( I donβt like liars, james πu forever dead to me
They need cashiers... we ended up leaving without buying anything because the wait time was just too ridiculous.
As usual, a great experience for the entire family. I just wish they had more variety of the kids toys. It is not their specialty so it is understandable.
Super clean, quiet and very well stocked. Very big store with an enormous selection
Alas.. one of the last standing bookstores.... I remember Dalton Books.. and Borders... but now Barnes and Noble stands alone in the cut throat business of books, young teens occupying tables without buying a drink, loiterers browsing books without buying.... how is a company to survive? But survive they have.... while their stock takes a beating... I do love B&N... now only if those darn teens would shut the Fup... and let me enjoy my cup of coffee....
Weve read step 2 reading with help Disney Pixar: Onward: Oh, Brother! Book.
Awesome spot for my family
Despite the age of electronics and gadgets, nothing beats the smell of new books for me. Its so nice to still see bookstores like this and to be able to turn pages and feel at peace reading books.
Dont come here during a holiday, long waits. Otherwise its good.
Toys books, with coffee, tea and bakery while the kids are reading and having educational getaway while I rest. Couldnt ask for more
Love the location, and how its at the mall. Im able to do all types of shopping, which includes my needed books. Its a pretty big location, and theres a big selection
Always great service, clean environmentBooks for all ages and a great learning experience for everyone.
They do answer calls which is a plus because a lot of places dont answer their phones. A quiet place for a break from the rest of the Spectrum. everyone is very helpful!!
Bargain book selection is not what it used to be. Its rare I buy a book there anymore and used to walk out with a bagful of purchases.
Quite a lot of good deals. and its always good to see theres still a physical book store around.
I drove all the way here from Upland because it was the only place that had the book I needed. The staff was friendly, made sure they had the book before I drove out there. They do answer calls which is a plus because a lot of places dont answer their phones. Yes there is a line to get in because of COVID but thats good, we have to take precautions. Theyre organized and go above and beyond
Very clean and a decent selection of books.
Love the smell of new books!! π
Bag shortage, bring your own or buy a reusable bag for $.99
This Barnes and Noble has 2 levels and I love the way its organized. This was the first time we were in there and the employees were so helpful and nice. It was quiet, it was clean. I didnt really want to leave. We were able to easily find what we needed and move on.
This location is just lovely and Im glad to see theyre still going strong.
Out of all of the barnes and noble Ive been to, this one is absolutely the most alive.I have spent countless hours studying here since high school exploring all the recommendations and little things. There are numerous staff who always ask how youre doing and are happy to make recommendations. Unlike many locations, people seem happy to walk around, browse, and chat.
Missing Borders. Thank goodness we still have Barnes& Noble
Overall good place, but needs some small improvements. Ive always loved visiting Barnes in the past, but this location lacked on variety of books and struggled to keep up with cleanliness in the store. They had someone at the door to regulate customer flow in the store which I loved. But the old school vibe of going in, relaxing and browsing a few books to buy is now gone. Everything felt rushed and no longer had a welcoming aura. I hope to return back in a few months to see if there has been any changes.
Lovely staff, glad to see its still popular
Lots of Barnes, not very noble.
Nice big store with good selections.
I wish they had more variety in their sections
Great books and stuff as always!
Nice to be in a real book store again!
No waiting line outside. Only 3 people in line before me in the checkout line with 2 cashiers. Easy in and out. Curbside pick up available.
Good selection of novels, memoirs, manga, movies, calendars, toys, coffee table books, and kids books. A quiet place for a break from the rest of the Spectrum. Movies are a bit pricey. Good selection of records too.
AWESOME PLACE KIDS LOVE TO GO HERE
So nice to buy books that you can browse through. So much better than online to have immediate gratification when you want a new read.
They should consider putting a search engine to know exactly where to go and if they even have the item.
The perfect place for my daughter β€she love read
On hand inventory is not impressive but the staff is super helpful
Love this store. It is the best place to buy books. Been going here since a kid. They have a book for all types of people.
Love swinging in here with the fam. Good way to encourage reading
My daughter loved that the kids section was on the second floor
Spacious and more room to navigate around.
Nice place and wonderful people
A lot of specials right now. Great variety of your choice of books of course and/or different ideas of gifts to your love ones.
A big shop that needs guidance :)Its very nice

Always clean and nice to visit. Great variety of books, games, and music
I just luv the environment of this book store because the employees are very friendly and helpful on books that I am looking for.
They are open and fully stocked but closed early like the rest of the shops unfortunately! I used to lol forward to buying kids toys for my nieces and nephews. They used to have great sales on toys. Covid has put an end to that!! There are books about the pandemic. Have we all not heard enough you think we need books to remind us what we are living through???
Just saw it from the outside, looks like they still sell books
Nice clean store. Friendly masked employees. I always like my books with 2 stories! Escalators included, dad jokes provided.
Huge store with cafe. Went there for the Saturday story reading for kids. After the story was read, kids were given fun activity sheets. While the kids were busy explored nearby books and toy aisles. Theyve got dedicated aisles for different categories from ages to grades to STEM, reading, Disney character workbooks...Same in toys section. Particularly liked their toy aisle as it had a variety of learning toys, which I hadnt seen elsewhere. Ended buying some. It was my first time to the store and to their reading session too.
Expensive cards. Poor selection.
The magazine selection is what I go for to look for car magazines. The store has it well organized up against the left wall when going in.
One of my favorite places to find new books
My favorite place, very afraid to run out of the business due to Covid-19.
This place is still doing well since the downsizing of many B&N stores. The area inside is clean and has a nice ambiance compared to the bustling outdoor mall surrounding it. Its building is well lit and books are neatly stacked on the shelves.
Best workers ever really helpful and help you find what you need
They not only have books but DVDs and CDs too as well good place
Its your average, everyday Barnes and Noble. I dont care for the Starbucks/cafe area being on the second floor. Should have found a spot for it downstairs, or not included it. Like a mall in America isnt going to have its own Starbucks? (It does.)
Great selection, great customer service
I looking for a book I couldnt find Kathy found it for me. Thank you great customer service
Too many toys for me, but I understand they are catering to their clientele. Looking forward to them serving food and alcohol for an interesting date night. Hopefully they will corral the kids away from the booze section.
Its just a really nice place
I wish they had more stores
Good location. Sales reps are always helpful.
I always have a great experience here, everyone is very helpful!
Love the selection of books and back to school supplies. My favorite is the Starbucks inside.
Strange how spacious it is. Loved it.
Nice place to be wandering around looking for good books, games or stationery.
They still have a DVD/CD section! For that alone, they get five stars! All the ones by me cut theirs out.
Love Barnes and Noble. They always have unique stuff, things youd never really think of. And their movie/TV Show selection is Amazing!
A lot of the books are much cheaper online. Also there are not enough chairs if you want a place to sit and read through a boom before deciding on a purchase. Other than that staff is helpful.
