This is a really great place to be and to find different things for your student. Not only they have books but they have a lot of sports wear lot of clothing, mascots, toys, all kinds of UCI supporting School supplies.

Very very very bad service, I ordered books online for rental, my total was 90 dollars for everything. A few days later I found out that I got charged 152, thank you to my bank that they sent me a notification about this and reported this to UCI bookstore immediately. They said they dont have those rentals and are charging me for the new books thats why the I got charged 152. My question is!!!! if you dont have the book then dont charge people!!!!!!!!!!! Dont show them the options!!!! Some people get charged when their account balance goes below a certain figure and which is what happened to me. I have to pay a penalty to my bank fr something that I am not responsible for...... Disappointed!!!!

The Hill is a great place to buy school essentials since its so accessible to every student. However, you will pay a convenience premium on pretty much anything you buy. Overall, its a nice, convenient place to buy your school supplies if youre out of time/options, or if you dont mind paying a slightly higher price. The staff is friendly and the selection is great.

As an Anteater, I come here quiet frequently. Not only for school supplies but for electronics and gifts. I once forgot my C-port adapter and headphones, and luckily they carry all of that. I also did my 2019 Christmas shopping for my family there; they loved their UCI sweaters and shirts. Sometimes I buy myself some school spirit merch bc why not?Good place and friendly employees!

Was charged full price for a book I rented despite my online receipts showing I purchased it as rented and the price was that of the rented price in the total. When I got there to it pick up, the receipt said I was charged full new price and my bank account reflected this.I asked to return the book and they said because the return window had closed the day before they couldn’t do anything even though I had just received my item that day because it had been on back order for a week. That my only option was to drop the class which I can’t do.Very upset about this because textbooks are very expensive and this set me back a good hundred dollars whereas the rented item would have been twenty. Won’t be coming back here to rent textbooks, rather go to amazon because at least I get notifications when they want to change my items beforehand.

Theyre old! Theyre old books! Its an outdoor book market! Ive found some terribly amusing and wondrous old books there. The prices are up and down, the experience is scintillating, and the location feel like heaven.This place feels old worldly, and real worldly. Ive never not seen a large crowd of people in the book-park yard. Its fabulous here.

The hill is great. You can find most of your school needs here. There is a price match on textbooks so make sure to use it. It is very clean and everything is very easy to find. Prices can be pretty high here so I would be aware of ehat is a fair price before coming in. Other than that, great experience and I am glad that this is my schools bookstore.

I’m a student and I find the bookstore super convenient in terms of grabbing random stationary or snacks and hanging out. The store has variety styles and hips of stationary, including cute pinky unicorn theme, sporty gigs, etc. I love the way it organizes. Student ID photo booth is inside: sweet!The only downsize I can think of might be their pricey textbooks; however, they have price match program to match their price with any lower prices you found. So always check Amazon book price when you go here to get this benefit.

What you would expect from a school store—it has a lot of school merchandise, and other items that students would need. Its a bit overpriced, but youll buy from here anyways since its one of the few places where you can use your ZotBucks.The textbook section is good and price matches.

Products are somewhat expensive. Availability of textbooks is very nice, you can get textbooks very quickly. When books are out of stock, you can also get them ordered to the bookstore quickly as well. Merchandise is nice. Sometimes has sales on clearance, which is good.

I am an international student studying at UCI. On our inscription guide we were highly recommended to come and purchase our books from the Hill.... So this is what i did. When getting to the cash till great surprise when i realised that the price to RENT the book for a quarter was 160$. Got even more of a shock when I looked on Amazon when walking out and discovered it was for rent at 14$ for the quarter. Terribly overpriced shop. Also if you are an international student and dont have a USA phone number you cannot purchase. Their system will not allow it. So i had to make up a random number!!

Id say the store has come a long way and still has a lot of variety after being bought out by Barnes and Nobles. Still kind of pricy but very organized in the products they now offer.

The Hill is the bookstore on the UCI campus. As students here, we often go there. Here is our review about it.The collection of books is not abundant but satisfying. You will find every textbook necessary for your class, you will also meet with many interesting and attracting books every time you come here. There is little to worry about books being out of stock. Once you order books, you can receive them quickly.Except for the books, there are some other goods, many of which are mementos of UCI- including T-shirts, postcards notebooks, and so on. You can also find items of daily use in the Hill, but it’s disappointing to tell you that they are not as abundant as the books. Moreover, they are often a little expensive.Items sold here are somewhat pricy compared with well-known on-line shopping stores. But sometimes they have clearance sales, where you can purchase nice items at a reasonable price. It is helpful in collecting the necessities to start your campus life.The Staff at the HILL is very resourceful and efficient. They will help you if you have any question about the books or the other goods. Last week, I went there with my friends to rent a textbook. The staff helped us find the book and handle the procedure very quickly. I think they are great.Its location is really convenient! It is adjacent to university food court, Starbucks Coffee, student center, clean/calm lounge. Also, just a few minutes’ walking can take you to the library, large parking lots and university town center (shopping mall). Nice store, though a bit pricey.

Overpriced and little shady on ethics. I ordered a used book online but when went for the pickup they told me that since they dont have any used one available, I have to get a new one and already charged my card without my consent. For the new book, I asked for price-match as they advertized but it seems they always have some excuse for any price you show them. Luckily, I found one for almost half price online somewhere else.

After being taken over by Barns & Noble last year its basically 60% sports wear and memorabilia...not that great of a resource for supplies that it used to be. Wish theyd bring back the art supplies they largly got rid of. If they promoted them around campus (particularly the arts campus) that would help. The closest art supply store is a 45 min drive away :(

The Hill UCI Store is an awesome experience!! Practically everything Anteater that you can dream of. I recently toured the store while on the campus of the University of California Irvine where my daughter will be attending in the fall. Zot Zot Zot !!

This is an adequate school store. Make it they carry clothing and things. You know, your average school store. Just as pricey as all the other school stores. Done

I recently purchased a physics series textbook from them and was unable to do the online homework as they gave me the wrong textbook. I then also had to stay up late the next night catching up on the homework I had missed. I was charged 184$ for them to mess up my order as well as my grade. I talked to the manager about it and got my new book, however I was not compensated at all for my grade. If you want them to mess up your grade, and charge ridiculous prices, this is the store for you.

Plenty of UCI brand merchandise in a clean environment. Cant find much assistance in case of needs. Price is not competitive at all.

We waited in line to ask for a diploma frame. The cashier checked a moment, then asked us to wait to the side while the line cleared. We waited. She comes back, takes another look at a few boxes on the ground, and cannot figure it out, so she gets help. Two more come over and likewise check before heading to the back. They come back to say they dont have it. Thats it. I asked about ordering one. They say we can order online via their website, but its still the same inventory. No information was provided as to if or when the desired item will be back in stock, either. I see that they get their diplomas through Jostens and ask if I can order elsewhere. No, they said, you can only get the item through this store.A little frustrated, we get back to the car, and after more digging, we find the UCI diplomas on Jostens website directly. It was bad customer service all around.

The Hill is pretty expensive for everything, as expected, but its pretty convenient because of its location. Its also the only place to get most of the UCI apparel.
